- Sony's RT secret sauce its a CELL2 design (2PPE + 32SPEs) at 3.5Ghz on a separate 3D die, its die size its around 60 mm2 on the 7nm process.
- Sony is trying really hard to get 24GB of unified HBM3 memory with bandwidth nearing 3TB/s to meet the demands of the heavily customized Navi chip, the Zen2 CPU and the CELL2
- If HBM3 isn't ready in time, Sony is planning to go with a split memory pool: 18GB GDDR6 for the CPU & GPU monotheist die and 8GBHBM2 for the CELL2 (it needs low latency memory)
- The GPU codenamed Kugoson its targeting 12 to 14 teraplots
