i've pointed him to a couple of pieces of feedback users have been giving and the fact that it's quite hard to coordinate with him seeing as he's not staff. (edit - also discussed that it may bringing him back after all this may just not work and not be fun for him, and be detrimental to meetings)(edited)

I think I have already tried to justify the issues listed by SirC; and how they are easily resolvable
I'll say this before we start things off, I would have appreciated if you went ahead with speaking with me first and trying to resolve it instead of acting in that fashion.
The issues which you listed with mic issues can be easily resolved, and I'm in the process of trying to resolve the mic problem by purchasing a new microphone
Right now, I can understand the lack of quality since I am forced to use my phone; but hopefully I am able to get a microphone soon.
I think that's easily resolvable, something which doesn't require me being kicked out in the way that you guys tried to do

I love reading the news, its why I'm arguing for it
It's something which fills out my space on Saturday, it's actually something I look forward to, I even set an alarm
If I hated it, I wouldn't argue trying to stay on like you said.

As long as the person reading it is understandable and mature, it probably doesn't matter too much who reads it. Its easier for staff to read it because they have access to it though which is one reason if a current staff member is available to read it they really do take priority. Often we don't decide who's reading until just before the meeting starts so rushing to send you news is actually pretty annoying to do.

Next, as I'm sure Sirc has pointed out, there have been issues in the past, some users have complained about the way you host. One example maybe is interrupted people too much. Nobody here has anything personal against you, but its just whoever is best at doing it. If no staff are online to do the news, then its probably fine to let you read it one week.(edited)

Meetings, it's your job to get news on time. It's more to do with laziness than actually me because if you think about it; staff should already have it prepared
You are given 2 weeks for each meeting
If you want to resolve communication, lets have an area where admins can post news into discord

People will base it off the previous meetings, which were apparently bad because of all of the complaints you were given
I won't have the opportunity to resolve the mic issue, I won't have the opportunity to resolve the speed issue

It is of my opinion that staff are better suited to reading news as they can easily see it and have better knowledge of what is going on in the community, but hey its my opinion, which is why I suggested a poll to let everyone give their opinion.

If you want to so badly make admins look human, maybe lessen the secret planning in the background about me and speak to me directly
This would have been resolved far more easily and with less hassle
I refuse a poll because it's embarrasing to me, and it's embarrasing to the admins themselves that they can't even decide on a speaker
I want a return to the format where both me and Danni speak

Look. Rune, going to have to say I'm getting quite disappointed here. You're taking this whole meeting thing way too seriously, and I'm not sure that it's because if you haven't been able to pick something up or what. We do not define "special people" for meetings, we do not expect people to act like they've got a special purpose because they help in the community (you've been staff, you know) and we do not take meetings extremely seriously. You've been to old meetings, right? This is not a thing of "representing the community" - hell, if you're complaining about Danni's drunkenness, perhaps it rather adds to the atmosphere. If you think that this thing has to involve you and you are entitled to all this, then I'm not sure you're suitable for this at all.

Also, the fact I've been learning that you've been PMing more people than just me because you weren't getting the responses you wanted is extremely troubling to hear. That is disrespectful, rude and I'd expect far more from you. Throughout this PM you have refused to acknowledge other people's opinions. You have instead been demanding things from the admin team by saying "I want", without even trying to get a compromise at all. If you want to demand some "maturity" and some "respect" from us, then it would be nice to see some from you as well.

I volunteered to host meetings because no head staff was ever present
but my schedule often fucks it up
I'm not particularly good at hosting them
but being an admin with access to the chat and being one of the admins that speaks I said sure why not

Last meeting with jolt as speaker went great
arguably the best we had in many many weeks
I'll be around if no one else is available for the meeting
but preferably someone who speaks a bit better English than me is nice
I liked the way jolt and iq hosted them
and it has traditionally been done by CAs or directors
Having a staff member doing it is easier since it can be sent to staff chat if they are not admin
I don't think I have much else to say
