Arakskuta [Chain Munstroa]

Anatomy/Biology
Types: Exactly one out of every Arakskuta horde is known as an alpha. Alphas are of a slightly reddish tone and are bigger than the rest. They have pheromones which can induce the rest of the horde into a hypnotic state, making them suggestive to most orders, unless said orders would bring harm to them. Additionally, hordes without an alpha will have one of their members immediately undergo a metamorphosis-like process to become an alpha. All other members will act as if they had received the order to "protect the cocoon" for the three earth days this process lasts.
Description: Small, beetle like green bugs with tough carapaces. Their shells have small indentations, and their feet are made for fitting into them. They can use that, along with their strong jaws, to cling to each other and form shapes and structures, such as bridges, ladders and walls.
Diet: Fruit, vegetables, insect larvae.

Avg. Lifespan: 45-90 Earth Days
Extra: They do not have genders. Instead, they breed by consuming flesh of dead animals they happen upon and, through a special process in their stomachs, creating 1-3 eggs per Arakskuta. Once they do this, they will die after five days.
