Ji-ae is known school-wide for her extravagant and insane pranks. she loves loves LOVES messing around and is the most mischievous girl you will ever meet. her mind is always swirling with prank ideas, and most of the time said ideas are ones no one has ever thought of before. Ji-ae's cunning and clever brain is a huge reason as to why she's so brilliant at pranks and barely ever gets caught when she does mischief (everyone knows it's her, but no one can find any evidence so they're forced to let her off the hook). she loves having fun and making people laugh, so apart from her prankster qualities she also has a great sense of humor and is an excellent moodmaker. if you're a hogwarts student, you've most probably laughed at least once because of her.

Ji-ae is nothing if not a social butterfly. growing up in a large family with lots of siblings, she knows how to socialize and get along with various types of people. she's outgoing, assertive, energetic and friendly, which makes her super approachable and hard not to like. she's not quick to judge, and definitely doesn't feel superior to muggle-borns and halfbloods just because she's a pureblood. in fact, she and her family love muggles and see them as just as important as wizards. Ji-ae has lots of friends from various houses, and she even knows a couple of students from other wizarding academies!

the girl might have lots of friends, but that doesn't change the fact that Ji-ae can be super annoying and excessively loud. she's the epitome of 'can't stop won't stop', because nothing can stop her once she's got her head in the game. her attention span is really short and she tends to get bored really easily, which normally leads to - yep, you guessed it - more pranks! she can sometimes go too far, both with jokes and pranks, and most of the time she doesn't even realize it.
	"what do you mean fairytales aren't real?"
Ji-ae is a total sucker for stories. she grew up hearing fairytales and legends and they're basically a part of her. she memorizes all the stories she was told in her childhood and most likely knows all of the stories in The Tales of Beedle the Bard by heart. she finds anything mystical interesting. she has a fondness for stars and loves to gaze at them. her love for these things are why she can be really philosophical sometimes.

Ji-ae is really protective of her beliefs and thoughts. she's very steadfast and persistent, and is difficult to convince if whatever you're telling her goes against what she believes. she's not afraid to fight you if you insult her thoughts, and is lowkey triggered when someone agrees to what she personally disagrees with. she will stand her ground and keep a strong hold on what she believes in. this trait makes her really suitable for the debate club.
	"say that oNE more goddamn time, I dare you."
when it comes to grudges, oh, this girl is one to keep them hard. once you get on her bad side there's no turning back, unless you manage to do something really nice like sacrifice yourself for the greater good. Ji-ae is hotheaded and easily aggravated, so it's almost effortless to provoke her. she's really aggressive when angry and WILL NOT hesitate to fight someone if they make her mad, regardless of the consequences. she gets into a lot of fights because of her temper, because she is not someone who backs down from a fight and will push on until she wins or loses.
	"ooh! I want to jump first!"
Ji-ae is frustratingly, incredibly, stubbornly, undeniably brave. she's so daring it almost seems suicidal. she jumps straight into dangerous situations without thinking twice and isn't afraid of any possible consequences. when everyone's scared of doing something she's the one who volunteers to do it first without hesitation. it's almost like she has no fear. her courage is admirable to an extent, but farther than that it's actually quite unnerving and unhealthy. this is because she tends to not care about the feelings of those who care for her, and just does whatever she wants to. she worries her friends and family to an exhausting extent, but she still doesn't seem like she'll stop anytime soon.

despite her huge circle of friends, Ji-ae is, unfortunately, often inconsiderate of others. she tends to ignore people's emotions and does what she thinks is justified, or simply whatever she wants to do. she's the type of person to tell you she's busy when you want to hang out, only to be found in the middle of one of her notorious pranks a while later. despite obvious complaints about this aspect of her behavior, she still remains absolutely oblivious and sometimes even has the nerve to defend herself. but it's not that she wants to be like this - she just doesn't know that she is. she's actually quite humble and kindhearted, and doesn't intend to hurt anyone (except her enemies).

➖BACKGROUND:
Ji-ae grew up in a large pureblood family consisting of her parents and seven children, including herself. living in a household with many different personalities and characters, she learned how to socialize and get along with various types of people. the Yoon family lived quite a simple and humble lifestyle in an old but large house. Ji-ae shared a room with her older and younger sister, since there weren't enough bedrooms to accommodate everyone in the family. she knows her way around the house and is quite proficient in chores like cooking, cleaning up, mowing the lawn, etc. she was always an outdoors person, so she often played outside with her siblings and loved to run around in large spaces and fly on a broom.

such a large family also meant that the Yoons weren't wealthy - in fact, you could say that they were on the lacking side, with so many mouths to feed and so many children to educate. Ji-ae and the younger children of the family always received hand-me-downs from their older siblings due to lack of finance, and they barely ever went on any holidays or bought anything new. however, they don't mind. they're content with it and don't complain about it at all. they're a happy, loving and humble family, the Yoons.

ever since Ji-ae was little she was taught to always be kind and accepting, no matter what social or blood status a person was. growing up with these ideals made Ji-ae a modest, approachable and open-minded individual, who'd accept anyone as a friend regardless of who they were (with the exception of those with a sour attitude).

now, because the entire family have always attended hogwarts, it's only natural that Ji-ae attends it as well.

➖HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR LOVE INTEREST:
so it was at lunch break when Jungkook decided to visit the library. since everyone was in the great hall to eat he figured it would be a good time to read some books in solitude. the hallway he was walking through was completely empty - or so he thought.
the next thing he knew he was on his butt, and all his stuff was scattered on the ground. it took him a moment to process that he had bumped into someone — or rather, someone had bumped into him. turns out it was Ji-ae who had accidentally ran into him, and she had fallen as well, the colorful stuff she was holding all over the floor. Jungkook was about to say sorry, but she quickly clapped his mouth shut and with an incantation and a wave of her wand their things floated into the sky and into Jungkook’s arms. she gestured for him to be quiet and threw something over them. the moment he felt fabric on his head, a professor ran past, looked around for a second before moving on. it hit Jungkook that he and Ji-ae were under an invisibility cloak.
once Ji-ae was sure they were safe she took the cloak off of them and apologized. right there, right then, was the start of a strange but beautiful friendship.

what a precious cinnamon bun. Jungkook is an introvert; he’s shy, quiet and generally really awkward around people. he’s scared of girls especially. he’s usually found keeping to himself or hanging around his small friend group. with people he’s really comfortable with, though, he’s more open and even a bit loud. he also loves to tease his closest friends.
	"ah, I think you mean alohomora, not alohamora.”
despite his social problems, Jungkook is an exceptionally talented boy. he’s intelligent, hardworking, ambitious and gifted in athleticism as well, making him a model student in many aspects. he excels in all his classes and everyone wonders what exactly this boy isn’t good at - besides being confident in himself, of course.

this boy is 10/10 one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. he’s sweet, gentle and has a heart of gold. he finds it difficult to approach people, however, so this side of him is rarely seen.

Jungkook loves animals. period. he has a soft spot for cats and dogs and hamsters and guinea pigs and horses and—you get the point. he’s a huge nature lover as well, and keeps a lot of potted plants. if you hurt his plants or his pets. he. will. cut. you.

Jungkook is lowkey sly. this is the trait that makes him a Slyhterin. he has a fondness of using people to his advantage, and he’s very clever at doing so. he needs to steal unicorn hair from the potions chamber? he’ll flawlessly frame the theft on the nearest student available. every time he gets in trouble (which is a lot) he always finds a way to push the blame onto someone else, and every time someone has something he needs or wants he’ll find some way to get it.
	“how did people even see constellations in the first place?”
okay, but Jungkook loves to stargaze. mainly because the stars are beautiful, and he gets quality alone time to think about his life choices. he often sneaks out at night just to watch the stars and would stay there until dawn comes, similar to Ji-ae.
	"step aside, I’ll do it.”
Jungkook is unexpectedly quite courageous. though he’s not completely stubborn and fearless like Ji-ae, he does have pride, loyalty and honor and he will sacrifice himself if absolutely necessary.
	"you’re not going anywhere.”
yandere alert! once he’s attached to someone, he becomes aggressively protective of them. he will not hesitate to hurt someone if they hurt someone dear to him, and he will do so in the worst and most twisted ways. he really, genuine cares for his close friends and family - he just doesn’t know how to show that care properly.

➖INTERACTIONS:
Jungkook and Ji-ae get along surprisingly well with each other. Jungkook sometimes helps her with pranks and homework and Ji-ae sometimes hooks him up with stuff to aid him in his cunning exploits. they have a friendly rivalry in Quidditch, since they share the same position on their teams. the moment they found their mutual love for stargazing, the two begin to sneak out together at night to watch the stars.

Jungkook is a bit wary around Ji-ae at first, due to her immense number of friends, but soon grows fond of her and her company. Ji-ae is the one who attempts to get closer to him, with pure intentions of wanting to befriend him. Ji-ae is one to engage in constant skinship with someone she's comfortable with, so she often leans on Jungkook, jumps onto him, give him friendly hugs and backhugs, etc. Jungkook is embarrassed at first, but he soon grows accustomed to it and even develops a slight fondness. the two often bicker and tease each other, and they joke around a lot. they give each other nicknames as well; Jungkook's being 'KooKoo' or 'Bunny Boy' and Ji-ae's being 'Ae-o' (ayo) or 'Miss-chief'. they both also have really nice voices (everyone knows about Ji-ae, but Jungkook’s spectacular vocals are unexpected), and they sometimes sing together, though this is exceptionally rare due to Jungkook’s discomfort in singing.

as they start developing feelings for each other, Jungkook starts becoming somewhat possessive of Ji-ae. he gets jealous every time she talks to another guy and makes it pretty damn clear that he doesn't like it. Ji-ae, on the other hand, tries to distract herself from him once she suspects that she might be crushing on him. this causes a bit of a conflict between them, but they manage it in the end.

he wasn’t romantically attracted to her at first, but he did find her intriguing. she was nearly the complete opposite of him, with her bubbly and loud personality and him being quiet and timid. he thought she was a bit of a nuisance, but at the same time she was bright and kind.

Ji-ae didn’t think much of him at first, but being the social butterfly she is she was ridden with the impulse of befriending him. she always thought quiet people always have a crazy side behind them, and she was right. she thought he was sorta weird in the beginning, but also really cool and interesting to befriend.

a strange but normal friendship. they get along surprisingly easily, and enjoy each other’s company.

a couple of months into their friendship, Jungkook and Ji-ae begin to develop feelings for each other. they both confuse it for something else at first; Jungkook thinks it’s a sickness, while Ji-ae thinks someone pranked her with a love potion. over time, though, both realize they’ve fallen in love.

after a while, they come to terms with their feelings. Jungkook heatedly confesses his during an argument between them, where Ji-ae complains that he’s too protective of her and that he can’t decide who she talks to. Ji-ae, surprised, quietly admits she feels the same. however, due to the growing threat in hogwarts, they decide to set their emotions aside and focus on the situation at hand.

ultimately, they end up together, after the war and all the danger is gone and done. their feelings stay mutual throughout the war, and it's only plausible if once they're sure they're safe they'll start focusing on their relationship. they'll make a peculiar but undeniably adorable couple. #KookAe
