Aster

Aster Blackwood and her twin sister Wisteria's first memories were of the endless sea of stars sailing overhead as their clan ventured far and wide from their  ancestral lands. While rot and strife bit at their father Ajax's back, the twins only saw the guiding aurorae that saw the wanderers to their new home.

Aster likes to think she grew to resemble the trouble maker that was her grandmother, only having wistful tales and scraps of her writings to know the woman by. Rather than stalking the woods to report the territorial shifting of the bears, she much preferred stalking the townships between the wilds to listen to the jawing of territorial drama between neighbors and nations.

It helped to dig a good story out of someone if you had one of your own to tell, so she regularly chases down rumors to drive her inspiration. This regularly gets her in terrible danger, but she's been lucky so far.
