When you start the interview make sure you say something among the following:

"Congratulations on reaching the interview stage of your application! Before we begin, can you please confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions of being an EMT?"

Also inform them that they will be recorded during their interview. If they refuse, put the interview on hold and contact a Chief.





1.) Could you please state why you have applied to join the EMT Service?



2.)Do you see the EMT Service as a long term position for yourself?



2.1.) What are your long term goals?



3.)What do you feel you could bring to the EMT Service and what are your expectations of being and EMT?



4.) Are you able to follow the chain of command, and take orders from superiors without questions or hesitation?



5.) Do you agree to read all SOP's?



6.) You arrive at a death call and discover that there are three more casualties then reported, what do you do?



7.) While being an EMT you have to realize that there is a lot of waiting for calls, are you able to deal with that?



8.) You receive a 911 call saying that a guy is trying to commit suicide by jumping off a construction crane, how would you respond to this?



9.) Have you red and understood the server rules specifically regarding the EMT Service and their neutrality on the server?



10.) You arrive at the see of a death call, when you jump out of your vehicle two armed civilians run up to you with guns drawn and tell you to leave the area, what do you do?



10.1) You arrive at the scene of a death call, when you jump out of your vehicle you go to the casualty and click revive when two armed civilians run up to you with guns drawn and tell you to leave the are but you are already in the revive menu, remember you cant cancel a revive without failing it, what do you do?



11.) You witness another EMT break our SOP's / commit a crime, what do you do?



12.) You get a death call close to your location, you are ready to go but dispatch is active and have dispatched another unit that is further away, what do you do?



13.) Do you agree that you are NOT allowed to abuse the checkpoint builder in any way shape or form and that you need to remove and items placed by using it?



14.) Are you aware that you must serve as an EMT for at least 1 full month before you can apply to the CLPD should you choose to do such?



15.) How do you rate your activity on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being inactive and 10 being very active.



15.1.) What would you rate your driving skills on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being very bad and 10 being the best



16.) You arrive at the scene where one of your friends just died and he asks that you fail the revive because the cops are looking for him, what would you do?





Now at this stage you thank the applicant for showing interest in the EMT service and ask him if he has any further questions.

as we will not be able to view it if its set to private.
