It wasn't a revelation that he, a Huang soldier, battled a vampire. The girl wondered if there were other beings, or perhaps magics, that utilized similar effects that a vampire was cursed with.

"I knew all of that. They're.. narcissistic.. and refer to themselves as perfect immortals. I don't ever want to see my father fall to their.. corruption," she states. It was a concern. She knew about the ghouls and their addiction to vampire blood.

"What other creatures.. or magics, have the ability that vampires do? Causing rot to the environment. Destroying it, taking lives, or destroying the lifestream?"

Boy, she was LOADED with questions.

[13:52] "The ability to ruin the lifestream do not lie with the vampires alone. Many corrupted magic do. Necromancy and riftmancy to be one of the most notable ones. Sins and the chaotic side of the arcane as well," he answered briefly.

"Not to mention the very existence of demons. However, I do not know much about them, only that they belong to the highest forms of predators."

[13:57] Necromancy? Riftmancy? More unknown varieties of magic she had never heard of before. Were they worth looking into? Perhaps.

With those explanations, Aspen ponders. "What about spirits? Sususmu mentioned Nethradin. Are they similar to vampires and what they do?"

She tilts her head, and adds in, "He mentioned they almost destroyed Jianghu a long time ago. They are bad spirits, but I want to know more of what they're capable of. Same with regular spirits.. if you know anything more.. detailed."

It was clear by her gestures that spirits was a topic she took major interest in.

[14:11] "I don't know much about Nethradins," he said.

"However, they are demonic spirits from Helheim of the Spirit World. There were a few notable instances in which the nethradins showed up in the history of Sheng.

I do not know them as well, only that they were once summoned in the War of the Millions.

A Shaytan, the ruler of Nethradins, was summoned by a corrupt guild; turning them into Nethradins. And thus, they marched for Jianghu, but was ultimately defeated," said the magi.

"The most recent occurrence involving Nethradins is when Malentine summoned them to the north, of what was previously known as Baukdengrad; city of vampires. Countless died in that battle. And until now, the Nethradins are there."

[14:18] For someone who claimed to not know much about the Nethradin, he sure spoke plenty of them. Aspen repeated the more important details in her mind as she sit in silence, staring blankly at Salthiel.

Finally, once she completely keeping in mind the more important details, she spoke up, "That must be the war Susumu was talking about. Wow.. that sounds.. insane. I don't know who Malentine is, or how to get to the vampire city but.. the Nethradin are currently on Agartha?"

Now that she wasn't aware of. "I want to see one up close. I'm so curious about spirits and the nethradin.. along with the spirit realm. How can someone open a door to summon a spirit anyways? Do you know any methods that aren't.. of the kensei?"
