Hell Within

The walls are closing in
Drawing ever closer.
Cold metal against skin,
Bones snap under the weight

Start over, one more go
Sharp blade severs the flesh.
Crimson life starts to flow
Fresh blood for the machine.

Steel holds their broken hands.
Chain restricts their movement.
Skin charred by molten brands,
Marked with furious doom

I jolt up in darkness
I weep at my visions
No more than a carcass
A vessel of decay

So I slip back to Hell,
Torturous nightmares live.
With not a soul to sell
I claw at coming day
