- That stormy night, the Opera Epiclese was filled to capacity. Every seat was occupied by eager spectators awaiting their favorite actress, Furina. As expected, she mesmerized everyone with her spellbinding performance. The applause was deafening, bouquets flooded the stage, and autograph hunters rushed toward her. Exhausted but exhilarated, Furina graciously accommodated them all.
- In the midst of the frenzy, Neuvillette made his appearance. His presence was an enigma — a man once consumed by his role as Iudex, he had overseen countless trials yet remained a mystery. A coldness in his eyes belied his charm, hinting at something sinister lurking beneath the surface.
- "Are you alright, Miss Furina?" Neuvillette asked, his tone devoid of emotion. It sent chills down her spine, but she forced herself to smile brightly, "Why, yes! My performance tonight was simply divine!" She giggled giddily.
- Neuvillette responded curtly, "I don't know how you can find joy in that spectacle. But alas, it doesn't matter anymore." He paused dramatically, leaving Furina unnerved. "May I make a request of you before your departure from Fontaine?"
- "Sure, why not?" Furina hesitated, unsure what kind of demand this stranger might make of her.
- Neuvillette revealed a sly grin. "I thought it would be best if you stayed at Palais Mermonia for these three weeks," he explained smoothly. "It won't be like before when you were the hydro archon; now you'll live under my protection, under my watchful eye. Isn't that convenient?"
- Furina swallowed nervously. Something felt off about the situation, but she reluctantly agreed. "Thank you. That sounds lovely." Her voice quivered slightly, betraying the uncertainty gnawing away at her heart.
- The following three weeks were filled with a peculiar mix of eeriness and false comfort. Neuvillette visited nearly every day, watching intently as she rehearsed or prepared for her shows. Each meeting left Furina feeling uneasy—the Iudex had eyes that seemed to bore right through her soul, seeking something only she knew he could never have. Yet his presence wasn't entirely unpleasant. His dark, twisted side intrigued her, though she was careful not to reveal too much of herself lest he become even more obsessed with possessing her.
- As the final day dawned upon them, Furina retired early. She was dreadfully aware that Neuvillette was waiting outside her room, watching and judging. Suddenly, there came a soft knock at the door. With a shiver running down her spine, Furina opened it, revealing Neuvillette standing in front of her once again. This time, however, he wore a disturbingly triumphant expression on his face.
- "I know it's late and you must be tired. But may we talk for just a little bit longer?" Neuvillette asked politely, gesturing towards her bedroom. The desperation behind his seemingly harmless words sent shivers down Furina's spine. She wanted nothing more than to scream for help, but the man before her radiated such control over her life that all she managed was an empty nod.
- They sat in silence for what felt like eternity before Neuvillette cleared his throat, speaking with forced nonchalance, "You see, Miss Furina, I have come to admire your courage and resilience, but there's so much more you don't understand. Teyvat is full of monsters lurking beneath its picturesque facade, waiting to devour the weak. If they learn of your true nature, they'll take advantage of you—and worse! And who knows what could happen then? It would be best if you remain under my care and supervision forevermore. Isn't that the best option?"
- Furina's heart pounded uncontrollably as Neuvillette leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear. She could hear him whisper sinister promises of love, security, protection—all lies she knew deep within her soul. An odd sensation swept through her, a mix of fear and anger mingled with arousal. As much as she fought the idea, she found herself drawn to this dark figure standing at the edge of her world, ready to drag her into shadows from which there would be no escape.
- Suddenly Neuvillette pinned Furina against the wall, trapping her arms on both sides. A look of raw hunger flashed across his eyes before he began to kiss her forcefully. In that instant, she realized the horrifying truth: she was about to be violated by someone she thought she could trust. All these weeks were part of some twisted ploy concocted solely for Neuvillette's pleasure. Furina tried to resist but felt powerless in the face of his overwhelming strength and determination.
- The assault was merciless and violent — Neuvillette tore away any semblance of dignity left in her, reducing her to little more than an object to satisfy his monstrous desires. Tears streaked down her cheeks, staining the delicate white fabric of her nightgown. But despite the agony consuming her, Furina couldn't help feeling strangely fascinated by it all; her mind grappling with the reality that the man who had supposedly been protecting her for centuries now sought nothing less than complete domination over every aspect of her existence.
- Finally, as they collapsed onto the bed, gasping for air in their shared exhaustion, Neuvillette murmured softly, "Oh, Miss Furina… I do apologize for my actions tonight. However, you must realize that it was inevitable, don’t you? You cannot simply leave me behind like this, not after everything we've been through together." He chuckled darkly. "Just consider yourself under my care from now on. And remember that this will always be your fate when you dare venture outside of Fontaine's safe confines."
- As dawn approached, a storm raged violently just beyond the windows of Palais Mermonia, mirroring the tumultuous emotions within Furina's fragile heart. The rain pounded relentlessly against the glass panes, creating an almost deafening cacophony in sync with her sobs of despair, rejection, and betrayal.
