JavaScript and HTML5 have opened up an entire new realm of possibility for video on the web. The <video> element is the clay from which we mold many of our online experiences. With tight integration with JavaScript, CSS, and other HTML5 elements such as <canvas> we are able to have full, fine grain control over our entire experience.

This presentation will give a brief introduction to HTML5 video and take a dive into the really awesome things we can do with JavaScript and the video element. From mind blowing video manipulation to native hardware access, the future of video on the web has never been more exciting.
