- [12:47 AM] Tits: Essentially in 1984 there was an alliance of rebels which wanted to destroy the Dituate, composed of mostly the aristocracy who still had armies then and a section of the armed forces loyal to the disgraced and in exile ex Grandmaster of the OND Tian Taijian.
- [12:47 AM] Tits: Jieke calculated that should be be able to swiftly win such a war he could push through all of his reforms with no opposition.
- [12:48 AM] Llama Lama: your aristocrats had private armies?
- [12:48 AM] Llama Lama: ooh boy
- [12:48 AM] Llama Lama: continue
- [12:48 AM] Tits: Yes, it was something left over from the unification of Akai as the Lazinatoese could not be asked to fight all of Akai's aristocracy to disarm them
- [12:49 AM] Llama Lama: that makes sense
- [12:49 AM] Llama Lama: okay, so he nukes the nobles so he can start reforming the nation?
- [12:49 AM] Tits: So an easy equilibrum existed under Sunzhi who was able to manage the aristocracy and it broke down
- [12:49 AM] Llama Lama: is he still in power?
- [12:50 AM] Tits: What the GUIZI the rebels wanted was a Strasserist-Spartan stratocracy which would rule over Lazin lands with a federation with the aristocracy retraining the privledges such as their peasants/slaves and their right to raise armies. Something they felt was under threat by Jieke.
- [12:50 AM] Tits: No Jieke offically died in 2014
- [12:51 AM] Tits: So Jieke allowed the rebellion to start, maybe even intially provoking it with defections from 1/4 of the armed forces and the aristocracy backing them up.
- [12:51 AM] Llama Lama: Okay
- [12:51 AM] Llama Lama: Jeike is dead
- [12:52 AM] Llama Lama: Even if we dont like it current akai isnt ruled by jeike
- [12:52 AM] genderless child: 卵サンドイッチ < 3
- [12:52 AM] Llama Lama: I see no problems
- [12:52 AM] Allidron/Armain: I do
- [12:52 AM] Almighty Volnik: Dae is complete cold pragmatist confirmed
- [12:52 AM] Tits: Jieke used the OND to quite easily defeat rebels generally however he wanted to minimise damage
- [12:52 AM] Allidron/Armain: A nation that has to nuke itself is unstable
- [12:52 AM] Allidron/Armain: That is a security nightmare
- [12:52 AM] Tits: Jieke did not need to nuke the rebels
- [12:52 AM] Tits: He did so to make a point
- [12:52 AM] Allidron/Armain: Even worse then
- [12:53 AM] Allidron/Armain: Also bbl
- [12:53 AM] Tits: Hell Akai's nuke program was kept secert until then
- [12:53 AM] genderless child: Ok
- [12:53 AM] Tits: Anyways
- [12:53 AM] Llama Lama: Like yeah nuking rebels is metal af
- [12:53 AM] Llama Lama: But its no like a majority of ordic nations even care about human rights
- [12:53 AM] genderless child: Yes
- [12:54 AM] Tits: I have not finished explaining just yet
- [12:54 AM] Llama Lama: *not
- [12:54 AM] Almighty Volnik: I care about human rights
- [12:54 AM] genderless child: I do too, I just have a high tolerance for a lack of them
- [12:54 AM] Almighty Volnik: and I think Nerotysia alone should qualify as a majority of Ordic nations, cuz nationalism
- [12:54 AM] genderless child: go on tits
- [12:55 AM] Tits: In a really bizarre incident, one of the GUIZI marshals secured a nuclear weapon and planted it in a city. How he got it is unknown but on his last legs he ended up committing suicide by detonating the nuke in the city of Xinkeng, trapping a few OND divisions with him and hundred of thousands of civilians.
- [12:57 AM] Tits: Jieke used this incident immediately to justify his nuking of the Huaxia, the main fortress of the GUIZI which he also used to demonstrate that he was going to win regardless of what happened and he held the power to completely annihilate the now leaderless aristocracy.
- [12:57 AM] Tits: As the GUZI were managing the general theatre as a whole.
- [12:59 AM] Tits: So while a few units kept on fighting and endup suffering horrible fates at the hands of various soldiers quietly, much of the aristocracy surrendered hoping not to die. The main exceptions to this were the two great clans Raigao and Cangbai who assumed their mountain forts would allow them to endure direct assault.
- [1:01 AM] Tits: Jieke instead sent the rivals of these two clans who had remained loyal, the Woerjins (Molxue and Qiaozhi respectively) to annihilate these clans for refusing his chance to surrender. Molxue used SF forces to infriltrate Clan Raigao and massacred them while Qiaozhi was instructed to use A232 gas and artillery on their complex until they gave in as they lacked gas resistance. These incidents were kept rather quiet by the Akai although thei
- [1:01 AM] Tits: their reputation spread.
- [1:03 AM] Tits: Jieke afterwards used his victory to finally cut off his father's life support and ascend to the Dituate having secured absolute power for himself and immediately striped the aristocracy of their private armies, their slaves/peasants ( he outlawed slavery in Akai) and forced them to pay tax. After the ar he was hugely popular and revered among the lower classes of Akai for freeing them from the aristocracy while they were neutered to the point of irrelevance. He had a monopoly on legitimate political power and had the means to enforce it. He also began the reconstruction of Akai and ended the war economy afterwards.
