[1:54 AM] Spaztique: in the 4+ years this place has been around, my stance on the ideal admin has never changed: it all comes down to making a self-sustaining community, and as of late, we haven't been cultivating that. if a community cannot self-sustain itself, it doesn't matter if it's as small as 50 members: it won't last
  145. [1:54 AM] Spaztique: we've lasted as long as we've did by metaphorically watering the garden that is a self-sustaining community, but in the last several months, we've stopped watering the garden
  146. [1:54 AM] Spaztique: and when that happens, group cohesion groups, people start fighting, group trust goes down, etc

  148. [1:55 AM] Spaztique: so when I start becoming active again, there's no guessing as to what I'm going to focus on: re-cultivating a self-sustaining community

[2:11 AM] Keinecat: Well I guess it was just watching what was going on over the years, I was here since before we made a u-haul, and it was fun, I enjoyed myself like a private group of friends just chatting and talking about stuff. Then we made the Uhaul slowly grew and grew. When I got admin I was so proud of what I did, voted on everything as it came up, and we kept growing. I was oblivious to the drama that was going on with Tracy and Spaz, and kept at my work until it was made known to me. And then we got bigger. More drama going on from personal and multiple parties, but I still wanted to help people, and that's when I started going lone wolf. I didn't see going lone as a bad thing, I just wanted things to be ok. drama in the skype group, and then I started to feel a bit helpless, and stuck to one on ones. I've never been the most social person, so seeing some of this turned me off, I was just completing voting that had 2/3 votes. Sometimes I'd try to defend someone, even if they seem like they should like that whole Flub and SDV thing. I just wanted things to be fair for everyone, even if a majority of people don't like a certain party. More drama, which get's blown out of proportion, by people who ask what's going on and people who will defend one side. Gotta collect my thoughts and I'll continue.

I'm not the most social person, and I always felt like I shouldn't just jump into a circle and just try and help people, some people know this, but it's just a small handful of many people here. also quick side note on the Deputy admins, I've been seeing good things Type just needs to work on... don't know what to call it... but he's kinda weird with decisions. and Eleky has been great so I'm glad we got them. Ok continuing. I guess drama and social interaction kept me out of just hopping into a room, I would just be queit anyways just listening to others talking or reading all the chats. I've just been watching out in the Admin skype chat for things I can talk about or have an opinion on, I've mostly been an outside source so I had no bias on if this fight is clearly cause of this person.
