» | background: born in daegu, south korea, bella had grown up pretty much raised only by her (filipino) mother. belle had only known her (korean) father for a combined total of two years in the ten she was alive, being an army soldier that was extremely dedicated to serving his country and protecting the people within it. he wasn't a harsh person, and he was always a warm presence as far as she could remember. he didn't come back much, but, when he did, belle made sure to cherish every moment she shared with him. they were incredibly close, and each time he came back, it would be just in time for her birthday. he would always bring her a present and teach her some kind of life lesson before going back to the army, and belle found herself more excited for her birthday than she was for christmas. and then on her eleventh birthday, her father didn't come back. her mother was devastated, and soon she had to take care of her mother more than her mother took care of her, having to do all the groceries and cook and having to take small jobs just to make sure she could have something on a plate for her and her mother (sometimes it ended up just being her mother). somewhere around the time she turned sixteen, the fatigue and horrible sleeping pattern caught up to her, and she fell extremely ill, which snapped her mother back into reality. it took a while, but after a year or two of trying to fix whatever was left of their little family. her mother got a job as a nurse and she had gotten hired for a weekend-job at a toy store, both jobs supplying them with enough to get through the years. when she was nineteen, her mother met her (soon-to-be) stepfather when he brought in his son for a checkup. belle had befriended to his son, and soon enough their parents had become extremely close (from the two constantly wanting to hang around each other). sometimes his father would come for no apparent reason other than to check up on how they were doing. the two children watched as their parents fell in love again (secretly, of course, but they never really succeeded at being discreet; his father always knew when they were peeking from over the edge of the magazines in her mother's office, and her mother had told them a million times that jeonghan breathed too loud for them to hide behind the wall). when they announced that they were getting married, the two were ecstatic.
                during her school days, bella had problems making time for friends, and often she would find herself in the position of having people mad at her for not putting aside time for them. of course, she still tried her best, and after her mother got her job she could finally put aside time for the things she actually wanted to do. no one really hated her-- she was much too kind for that-- but they did like to treat her like a slave. most of her friends had became closer without her, and soon she realized that they were really only acting as if they were the same, but she didn't say much; if they needed her help, who was she to disagree? after all, she had practically left them all those years, so it was the least she could do (and if she even tried to argue, they'd probably end up getting mad at her and she can't deal with that). it only got worse after her step-brother debuted. she basically had to drop all her friends after that, finding it hard to trust anybody and not wanting to have to deal with confrontation. the only person she had left that she could trust beside her brother was [GHOST], who was one of the people who would try to call the other people out. it took her a while to warm up to the others, and to this day she still doesn't go out of her way to tell them much about how she actually feels, but she trusts them enough to disclose the information about her brother to them.

» | personality: bella, or belle, is what you could call an extreme pushover. she's not someone who can say no to others easily, and feels extremely guilty if she even begins to /think/ about denying someone help if they ask for it; it's most likely because of how she grew up, and how her mother taught her to be compassionate to anybody. she's a very traditional person, often soft-spoken and doesn't initiate anything unless you clue her in on it. she's not a "flirty" person, nor is she very confident in the relationship department, but she definitely believes that she's pretty (not /beautiful/, but pretty is just fine); if she even tried to flirt with anyone, she either a) becomes a stuttering and blushing mess, or b) uses the worst pick up lines ever because she can't think of anything else to say. belle tends to the be the ' mom ' friend of every friend group, the one that fusses over everybody and gives them advice if they need it. she's dependable and independent, already out of her parent's house and providing for herself with her own money with a few loans here and there. when it comes to working, belle isn't one to joke around, and is quite serious about her studies/work, often trying to improve herself despite people telling her that she's already doing good enough. she's actually a competitive and stubborn person, and won't settle for being /good enough/. if she wants to do something, she'll do it and try to be the best at it.
                  when it comes to love and relationships, she's not quick to catch feelings, and is even slower when it comes to trusting people enough to let them in. belle's an incredibly private person who doesn't like sharing many details about her life due to the fact that it's quite taboo in asian cultures to remarry so quick after your marriage, nor is it often that you find someone that's only someone's step-sibling, let alone an /idol/. she's not a hotheaded person, though, and rarely every becomes mad if you provoke her, often trying to go for a calmer route. but, when she is mad, she becomes a ranting mess, and (tries to) roast you in any situation, even if you aren't there. be careful of where you walk, too, cause there's a high chance she'll start throwing things everywhere.

» | his personality: he's a quiet observer, always caring for the group in little ways but managing a rather "cool" image onstage and offstage. though most fans portray him as unemotional and cold, he's actually an incredibly thoughtful and warm person, always willing to have fun if you just give him an extra nudge, or show him that you're up for it. he's dependable, but also quite lazy when it comes to taking care of himself (but never when it comes to his friends, always taking the leading role). but don't mistake that as him being a person that lets people walk all over him-- he's someone who enjoys doing what he wants to do on his own time, and will defend himself (and those he cares about) in a heartbeat. around the people he is comfortable with, he becomes cheerful and (much to their misfortune) a gigantic joker that makes horrible puns and is quite loud.

» | how he acts around her: honestly, he's amused from the moment she began to apologize to him. she sparks his curiosity-- what, with how quiet she is but with all this.. energy to her. always going to and fro places with that ponytail of hers swishing every which way, the amount of things she carries on a daily basis (whether it be laundry or just folders stacked with books). he didn't even mind that he literally almost got toppled by her the first time he knew of her presence, only laughing it off. as they interact more, he starts developing a sort of protective persona around her, and (while her brother was definitely protective enough, as she's said) he makes it a point to tell her to stand up for herself idk he probably finds out about the bullyin n shit or something. in the end you can keep the brother-sister thing or make them into a really cute couple i dont even know.

» | how she acts around him: okay, to be completely honest she had no idea who the hell he was when they first met. you can blame her having no life, as what she's told by most of her coworkers and friends, but she kind of had an idea of they were. maybe. she knew it was someone who worked in the same deal as her brother (mask, cap, obnoxious fashion sense? obviously), but had no idea who it was beyond that. it's partially the reason why she didn't bother apologizing when she (literally) runs into him in the hallway, only choosing to look back and send a worried look before dashing off; being late for her job (or school idk) wasn't on her agenda that day. of course, the next time they see each other, she apologizes profusely for it. it was a bit awkward than she thought it would be, though, considering that it was a) purely coincidental, and b) it was in the laundry room... and it just so happened that she was washing her underwear. their meetings usually go that way, purely coincidental and her being an awkward little fuck. well, she would respond back when he talks to her, but it's always short, since she doesn't really trust him yet. as time goes on, and she becomes used to his presence, belle opens up. their relationship is a lot like a brother-sister one, though they can always feel something making them gravitate towards each other.
