  10. That a person can *invent* a motive for some action/behaviour/event does not mean the invented motive is accurate nor that necessarily there was a motive in the first place.

  12. But suppose a motive does exist.

  14. If something happens and you invent a "motive" for it - but cannot *know* what the "true original motive" was - *then all you have done is use your imagination to fill in the blanks*. Your belief about the motive is again an "unjustified belief". It may well be true - but what you're doing is using your imagination to invent a motive that conforms to your pre-existing belief-bias.

  18. If there is any motive to the lie system's events and claims - _then it would be to give *you* the opportunity to *convince yourself* about its events and claims._

  20. For most people are quite useless at reasoning against the things they firmly believe - even when those things are wrong.

  22. Beyond that - who can really say. Perhaps the dice were rolled and this month "decaying hospitals" and "babies" came up. _If we cannot know then we cannot know._

  24. All we can do is *observe the overall "process" and notice consistent patterns* - such as sufficient proof always being withheld which forces us to use our imagination to fill in the blanks. And so we can suspect that the "motive" - _if any exists_ - is to present us *with opportunities to convince ourselves* about events and claims.

  30. If you believe every event obeys a more refined motive (as in - a "reason" for why it "had to be a decaying hospital" or "burned babies") then that is how you are going to interpret each event (as conforming to some kind of motive).

  32. And you will train yourself to get better at doing this with each event - _even if you are wrong about it._

  34. With each event you will become a little more "magnetised" to the belief that "lie system events and claims contain 'micro motivations' (or whatever) etc.

  42. I just wanted to point out that the idea of needing a "motive" need not be the case. I would think of it like this:

In the same way - the population may well be trained to expect every action to have a motive and so when an event lacks a motive the suggestion there are no motives will be rejected. <<

  46. If it is the case that the answers are "simple" (and I suggest they are) and if it is the case that there are no "motivations" (as I suggest there aren't) then the suggestion there are no "motivations" ("micro motivations") will be rejected.

(Beyond presenting you with opportunities to convince yourself about events in such a way that guides you to have thoughts our farmers want us to have [so we build bigger and better pyramids, for instance]. *But this is a description of the consequence of the process taking place* - and I am attaching this description to the concept of "motive".)

  50. In which case the lie system is rendered invisible to the population because each person's mind isn't able to perceive it. It becomes a kind of "domestic blindness" (the answer is right in front of them - but they cannot see it because they need it to be something other than it is).
