Hi Pete,

Regarding the finances for USWCTF 2020, here's the list of expenses Mat and I have compiled:
- Server costs for 1 year lease: £50.10 (1 year lease was much more cost effective, and could be useful to have if we end up demoing at other unis/running the event again next year)
- Domain name uswctf.net 1 year lease: £8.51
- Small engraved trophy for the winner: £6.99
- Catering budget (pizza/drinks) for first day: £XX (depending on interest)
- Printing costs for posters - maybe 3-4 posters spread around J block?

As well as this, Amila has been able to provide £75 in Amazon vouchers for the top 5 places, which we have decided to distribute as:
1st: £25
2nd: £20
3rd: £15
4th: £10
5th: £5
Any additional amounts to this would be great, if possible.

We've been in touch with the Newport society and they also seem interested in hosting an event on the first day. They're also going to talk to some of the lecturers there to see if they can add to the lecturer's challenges we're planning.

As for the progress of the challenges, we've got the bulk of them done now, so we should be ready to start switching focus to the lecturer's challenges. The lecturers we have listed down at the moment are you, Andy, Richard, Ahmed, and Mamoun from Treforest, and Amila, Elaine, and Emma from Newport.
If the lecturers want to make the challenges themselves and send them to us that would be great (Ahmed already has one ready to go), but if they want to just have a chat with us and figure something out for us to make that would be fine too.

Also attached is a draft copy of the poster we've created for the event, some of the information needs to be finalised still but it's mostly ready to go. Would it be possible for the department to print a few copies of these + send it around in an email too?
