  1. Mimi wasn't like the other ones. She didn't have a red head, she didn't have any wings, and you couldn't really eat her on thanksgiving. However, she still considered herself a turkey through and through. Her parents were turkeys, and her grandparents before that. In fact, she'd spoken nothing but turkey-speak (not Turkish, that's a different language) her entire life!
  2.
  3. So why was she born a human? Nobody was really sure, not even the foremost medical experts in the turkey community could muster an explanation. DNA tests were taken, and her parents were indeed her parents.
  4.
  5. So why?
  6.
  7. She decided to dedicate her life to finding out, and went on a journey.
  8.
  9. First, she visited the salmons. They spent most of their lives in a lake, hangin' out. They were very chillaxed about life in general. Mimi put on her scuba diving suit and went straight for the Salmon Shaman's underwater hut.
  10.
  11. "O Shaman, do you know why I was born in a human body, even though my parents are turkeys?"
  12.
  13. "Dude, who cares? Just live your life, sister. If you want, you can stay with us. Your long legs make you a very good swimmer."
  14.
  15. But Mimi didn't want to stay. She wanted to know why she was human. So she went to visit the tigers. Tigers were ferocious creatures, always at war with some other race. They loved to fight. Mimi painted tiger stripes all over her body, and went to visit the Tiger Tyrant.
  16.
  17. "O Tyrant, do you know why I was born in a human body, even though my parents are turkeys?"
  18.
  19. "Well, obviously you were born to be a warrior! You move with only two limbs. That gives you the dexterity needed to succeed on the battlefield. You should stay with us, and fight by our side!"
  20.
  21. But Mimi didn't want to stay. She wanted to know why she was human. So she went to visit the humans. They lived in huge industrial cities, and nobody really knew what they were like. Not even themselves. She went straight to visit the Human Headman.
  22.
  23. "O Headman, do you know why I was born in a human body, even though my parents are turkeys?"
  24.
  25. The headman looked flabbergasted.
  26. "You're not a human! You're a kangaroo!"
