- Attacker(s): Julian Carlton
- Description: Upset that he was being let go, Carlton attacked Mamah and her children with a shingling hatchet. He killed Mamah with a single blow to the face, before slaughtering John as he sat in his chair. He then chased Martha into the courtyard and killed her, before covering all their bodies in petrol and setting them on fire. He then poured petrol under doors and set it on fire, before killing Emil in another room, then using the hatchet to attack those that climbed out of the windows to escape the fire.
- Afterward, he drank hydrochloric acid in an unsuccessful suicide attempt. He died in jail seven weeks after the murders because the acid damaged his esophagus, making it difficult for him to eat.
