The Finish Line is Further Away Edition

Hey guys, how’s it goin?


I am still committed to the PPC Easy grind for now, contrary to anything I might have said on stream this past week, but Vyse has somehow managed to improve the time AGAIN! The goal line is now 2:55. (For those keeping score, I’m at 2:57.) I’ve been in range of that enough times lately that I know I can do it. It’s just going to be a slow process like always.

I also engaged in some extracurricular activities this week. I did my next Kusogrande match Saturday by playing some generic SNES beat-em-up with cheap ways to get hurt. I did not enjoy playing it at all. You know, when Kusogrande was in its early stages, the game pool was shallow and filled with games that were, at least, entertaining to play. If the games were bad, you could laugh at how bad they were while you were playing. Nowadays, I’ve only been given boring games with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. At this rate, I will not want to take part in another Kusogrande. The community is great, but the games are not worth looking at. I’m no longer having fun. It better change quick.

The Tetris Attack Online Discord server held its most recent Panel Attack seasonal yesterday. I’m not going to reveal exactly how well I did, but my confidence with Panel Attack level 10 is at an all-time low. As long as it claims to be an accurate 1-to-1 representation of Tetris Attack and does not emulate the lag frames that come with Tetris Attack, it can never be an accurate 1-to-1 representation. It is a game that looks like one I’ve played for almost 20 years, but feels like a completely different, kinda unfun experience without the lag. It throws me off greatly. I don’t normally learn games quickly and Panel Attack is one of those games that I need extra time with to get used to. The problem is that I’m doing a speedrunning thing and a streaming thing and streaming Panel Attack detracts from both of those objectives. Don’t let me stop you from enjoying it yourself, though. Go find the Tetris Attack Online server and get Panel Attack, if you haven’t already.
