I finally get around playing Demon's Souls: Part 7

Tonight and also Yesterday Night on Demon's Souls:
I reach across the archstone and I drink your soul. I drink it up.
I put on my wide brimmed hat and got out my tools. There was farming to do. So I did it. Num num yummy souls.
Then back to the Old Hero to give him what for. By which I mean shoot the blind bugger till he falls down. Attempt two went well until I got over confident and fired off a shot too close. That got me jumped on and exploded. Attempt three was a long and boring stretch of spaced out shooting. Finally his health was low and I pulled out the LSoM to give him a warrior's death. He very rudely refused to kneel down for me so I just chopped his legs off and that was that. Then on to 4-3 and the Storm King. His Manta spawn proved more threatening to my health than the King did. Still with the silly event sword in hand they were all chopped down without difficulty. Arch Demons slain; 2
Tonight was of less savoury fare. 5-2 again. I went looking for the Cleaver Black Phantom for a fight, but she seems to have vanished. Making use of maps because I am more than sick of this hell hole I got to the next fog door without issue. The Dirty Colossus proved hugely underwhelming against the might of the LSoM. A few times I got coated in flies but that problem was solved by giving one of the burning torches a hug.
The way to 5-3 was open. I entered. The "Saint" Astrya informed me that there was nothing for me to loot here. I replied that there was clearly a number of items in the Plague Baby pit and also that crystal lizard over there. Oh and a couple of big juicy looking souls. She took exception to that and set Garl Vinland on me. I tried to get a back stab and he got me with a "Wrath of Plague" miracle. Cheater. Still when I came back he made up for it by standing still under an overhang and letting me poke him to death with my halberd. Okay so maybe there was some attempts to flatten me with that hammer of his, but those aren't really worth mentioning. Anyway I stole all of his clothes and wandered down to the "Saint". She objected to being smacked in the head with a laser sword so I just stood out of ranged and shot her in the face till she was weak enough to finish off in melee. Arch Demons slain: 3
Back in the Nexus I off loaded my luggage and headed back to 5-3. Because if I was right Garl would be waiting. And there he was, in all his red tinted Black Phantom glory. Though healthier than in life Garl still wasn't much in the tactics department and still stood under the overhang until death by poking. So now I've got a gint "hammer", a family symbol to trade to Garl's sister and a magic faith spear to pick up.
Pure White World Tendency is pretty cool.
