PS3 Ps3xploit step by step guide by Marko

NOTE: Before you start check if your PS3 is compatible with this EXPLOIT

(Locate your model by number, if it is green you can flash it to CFW, if its red then you can not)
Here is how to do it step by step:
1. Make sure you are on 4.82 (NOTE: This is VERY IMPORTANT, if you are not on this firmware you may risk to brick your PS3!!!)

2. Download MiniWeb HTTP server and extract it.

3. Open miniweb\htdocs and delete everything inside.

4. Download NAND/NOR Writer and extract it.

5. Insert USB flash drive, format it as FAT32 and copy file "flsh.hex" from folder "hex-482--COPY-TO-USB-ONLY-IF-482-FIRMWARE-OR-WILL-SOFTBRICK" to your USB. Now you can remove the USB and insert you in the very right USB slot (closer to hard disk).

6. Copy everything else from NAND/NOR Writer rar and save to miniweb\htdocs. Go back to miniweb folder and run "miniweb" (keep it running until step number 10).

7. Copy the IP from command prompt after "Host:"

8. On your PS3 open Internet browser, press green triangle, select "File" and "Adress Entry". Delete the link with square and paste your IP Adress  and hit start.

9. Select "nand-482.html" or "nor-482.html" based on your flash memory (info will be provided below this step) and you will get pop up, click OK.

10. From here you click "Write to NAND Flash Memory" or "Write to NOR Flash Memory" depending on your flash memory and wait few minutes to complete. There you should see green Success text, but DO NOT turn off your ps, it will beep twice and restart automatically.

11. Remove USB from PS3 and plug it in PC. There you have to DOWNLOAD FERROX 4.82 COBRA 7.53 Custom Firmware.

12. When complete rename the downloaded file to "PS3UPDAT.pup". In the usb keep flsh.hex and create new folder "PS3". Open that folder and create another folder "UPDATE". Paste your "PS3UPDAT.pup" to your usb "Your USB name/PS3/UPDATE".

13. Plug the usb at the very right port again. Go to Settings -> System Update -> Update via Storage Media. From there follow the steps to install CFW. After reboot you have successfully jailbroken your PS3.
