  1. GUADA ANTI-CYBERBULLYING INITIATIVE
  2.
  3. Operation Sunrise is the codename for the Anti-Cyberbullying Initiative. (ACI)
  4.
  5. Explanation: Gamers currently are being bullied and aren't getting their side of the story out there. The only way to defeat massive media collusion is by simply exposing the truth.
  6.
  7. Anti-Cyberbullying Petition (Outdated)
  8.
  9. https://www.change.org/p/anyone-who-has-ever-been-hurt-by-online-harassment-stand-with-victims-of-cyberbullying-tell-max-read-to-step-down-as-chief-editor-of-gawker-media
  10.
  11. We should try to spread this on twitter and blow past the goal. Retweet, reblog and get the word out about the ACI. We will invert and tear apart the media's false narrative together.
  12.
  13. The petition is not as important as the second part to the ACI. We're the other half.
  14.
  15. In order to succeed,
  16.
  17. Gamers need to get personal and share THEIR stories of bullying and harassment. If you've ever been targeted or made fun of for being a gamer, or maybe know someone who's committed suicide, YOU NEED TO GET THAT STORY OUT THERE. This is more than just Gamergate, we're talking about anything going back through high school. We need specific stories, events and anecdotes, not people generally saying "I was bullied too".
  18.
  19. More like, describe a particular time you were bullied. What's the worst thing that they did to you? What happened? How did it make you feel? How do Max Read's latest actions add to the abuse? I would like to see thousands of linked-together blog posts, facebook posts and tumblr posts that simply share true stories of anti-gamer bigotry. After this, the opposition's arguments completely fall apart.
  20.
  21. Who are you going to believe? 10 websites or 10,000 individual people speaking out against harassment and corruption? Our size is our ace in the hole. Get individual. Get real. Make people feel.
  22.
  23. When you write a post, add links to at least 3 other anti-bullying posts and videos so that we form a network. This allows people to easily follow from one post to another and see how widespread a problem nerd/gamer-bashing is in today's culture. The goal is to keep readers reading about us. Be sure to add links to evidence and videos that prove our side of the story as well. You can share your story at hashtag #TruthInGaming on any social media website. This will allow you to find true stories and experiences to link to along with showing solidarity and support with gamers wherever you are.
  24.
  25. We need faces on youtube getting emotional, male and female ones. It's hard to insult and degrade someone when you have to look them in the eyes and see them cry. We need to show the human side to our story. We're good at rationality, but we're missing the emotional side of things.
  26.
  27. The opposition is great at emotional manipulation. Facts and logic are good, but we need to embrace emotion too.
  28. You need BOTH to win an argument.
  29.
  30. Remember, we're not trying to convince the opposition to change their ways. You can't make somebody change their mind no matter how many facts you throw at them. They simply become defensive.
  31.
  32. Our objective is to get those people on the fence to come down, on our side. When they see a bunch of angry insult-shouting people confronting peaceful rebellion, they change sides. This is what I call the "Westboro Baptist Church Effect." Fred Phelps did a lot to help gay rights. Use the opposition's bigotry against them.
  33.
  34. See some examples.

  37. The hashtag campaign #yesallwomen , only this time with longer posts that get personal and go in-depth.
  38.
  39. Change gamergate into something similar.
  40.
  41. #Gamergate
  42. Because the fact i'm a guy doesn't mean you get to send me death threats
  43.
  44. #Gamergate
  45. Because when journalists call their own readers dead, you know something's wrong
  46.
  47. #Gamergate
  48. Because gaming is not a crime.
  49.
  50. I'm sure you can think of better than these silly tweet examples, but you get the idea.
  51.
  52. Remember, we're always open to dialogue and forgiveness. All they have to do is post a sincere apology. They need to admit guilt. Real peoples' lives have been ruined because of these debasers. They need to say "We're sorry for lying and miscategorizing gamergate supporters. We should have been more fair in our coverage". They need to condemn ideologues like Chris Kluwe and admit their bias.
  53. They need to fire those responsible for this mess.
  54.
  55. Anything less is a fake apology, and we don't accept fake apologies.
  56. If it doesn't admit wrongdoing, then it's a "I'm sorry you were offended" type thing. Have none of it.
  57.
  58. Don't let them rewrite history.
