  1. INITIAL RULESET:
  2. 1. This is the Ruleset for Darwinomic III. All players must obey it.
  3. 2. Any person may at any time join as a player, and any player may at any time leave the game.
  4. 3. There exists a list of words called the Gene Pool, which may also be referred to as the Word Bank.
  5. 4. Once per day, any player may add and/or remove up to a total of ten words to the Gene Pool.
  6. 5. Any rule which contains a clause allowing copies of it to be made, whether or not said copies are Mutated, may be referred to as an organism.
  7. 6. To Mutate a rule, a player chooses up to three of the following, and performs them:
  8. a. Choose one random word from the Gene Pool, and add it in a random position in the rule.
  9. b. Choose one random word from the rule, and remove it.
  10. 7. Once per day, any player may make a copy of this rule, and Mutate it.
  11.
  12. INITIAL GENE POOL:
  13. Repeal Enact Proposal Amend Mutate Rule
  14.
  15. Day One
  16.
  17. Darth adds the words Judge CfJ Judgement Repeal Repeal Repeal to the Gene Pool.
  18. Resulting Gene Pool:
  19. Repeal Enact Proposal Amend Mutate Rule Judge CfJ Judgement Repeal Repeal Repeal
  20.
  21. Darth causes Rule 7 (Primolegis septimus) to reproduce. He adds three words.
  22. Resulting rule 8 (Primolegis octo):
  23. Repeal once per day, any mutate player may make a copy of this rule, and Mutate CfJ it.
  24.
  25. Day Two
  26.
  27. Darth adds the word Repeal to the Gene Pool.
  28. Resulting Gene Pool:
  29. Repeal Enact Proposal Amend Mutate Rule Judge CfJ Judgement Repeal Repeal Repeal Repeal
  30.
  31. Darth causes Rule 7 (Primolegis septimus) to reproduce. He adds one word.
  32. Resulting rule 9 (Primolegis novimus):
  33. Once per day, any player may make a copy of this rule, and Mutate Enact it.
  34.
  35. Rule 8 (Primolegis octo) self-repeals, per "Repeal once per day".
  36. Notes: I would have reproduced R8, because I could have done it before the once-per-day repeal kicked in, but it said "any mutate player" could do it, and I do not believe I am a mutate player, whatever that is.
  37.
  38. Day Three
  39.
  40. Darth adds the word Repeal to the Gene Pool.
  41. Resulting Gene Pool:
  42. Repeal Enact Proposal Amend Mutate Rule Judge CfJ Judgement Repeal Repeal Repeal Repeal Repeal
  43.
  44. Darth causes Rule 7 (Primolegis septimus) to reproduce. He adds one word.
  45. Resulting rule 10 (Primolegis decimus):
  46. Once per day, any player may make a copy of this rule, and Repeal Mutate it.
  47.
  48. Darth causes Rule 9 (Primolegis novimus) to reproduce. He adds one word and removes one word.
  49. Resulting rule 11 (Geminus geminoccidor):
  50. Per day, any player may make a copy of this rule, and Mutate Enact Repeal it.
  51. Resulting rule 12 (Geminus duogeminoccidor):
  52. Per day, any player may make a copy of this rule, and Mutate Enact Repeal it.
  53. Notes: I parse the "Mutate Enact" thing as "Mutate, then Enact". Since enacting a rule is adding it, I interpret this to mean that a mutated copy of the original rule is made, then a copy of the mutated copy is made. Thus, identical twins are created. However, the new "Mutate Enact Repeal" thing I interpret as meaning that the first copy is then repealed, so the descendants of G. geminoccidor and G. duogeminoccidor will effectively reproduce like normal.
