Once but long ago a humble little tribe of savages rested on an island, quietly scraping an existence while an ancient empire was buried underneath them.

Then came the day the Demigods were born. One daughter was gifted with a great mind and visions of the future. The other gifted with great form and size.

Promothea was a lover of all knowledge, be it the latest sciences to the arcanest of magics.

Together, with her intellect and the other's strength, Promothea and Todsanger built the mud hut living dwellers into a fully fledged fishing village. Schools and stone walls, a veritable village town. For Promothea was the daughter of Curiosity, and Civilization is her name.

Then came the day the evil empire attacked, and stole the coffin of a dead king of a long ancient empire forgotten but not dissapeared. Many perished that day, including Promothea's mother.

Since then she vowed to see that terrible onslaught never again, and swore to raise the island into the pinnacle of all knowledge. And she was not alone, for the great God Ko was her friend, and gifted her with wings of light to traverse the earth, and the mountain of solace to meditate in.

Two wishes granted she, those wishes be:

Full understanding of Medicine and Disease

The power of Steam and Steel

Gifted those gifts were she by the god.

She flew about the world, gathering all the wisemen and astrologers and doctors and all men of craft and skill she could persuade with her Demi-god command. They came with their families, their cultures, their ideas and knowledges.

300 years later, a veritable city embodying the march of technology surrounds the ancient forest and mountain of the god. What will become of these people?
