Late Memorial Day Edition

Hey guys, how’s it goin?

I know I’m much later with this during the day than usual, but holidays can throw off your entire schedule. Sometimes, it hurts to be so habitual.

If there is anything I have learned about myself and speedrunning in the past week, it’s that I need to shut the hell up during streams if I want to get the best times. After finally getting the Pokemon Puzzle Challenge Intense Scroll On record back, after improving my Rhino Rumble time twice when last week’s attempts failed, after cleaning up the rest of the PPC Challenge mode categories in near record time today, I am realizing that it benefits my runs and my stream the most for me to just focus on the run during the run. It’s not like anyone tunes in for my nonexistent ability to speak perfectly coherent English commentary and play the game at the same time or anything.

My plan for the immediate future is to post times in all of the Marathon and Garbage categories for PPC—all 24 of them. Half of them could take over an hour to complete. I think I’m going to be here for a few weeks. Don’t be surprised if I’m still playing this game by the time SGDQ rolls around. For once, though, I can actually see the light at the end of this tunnel.
