personality - lia makes a lot of those cliche jokes that people only laugh at so she doesn't hit them upside the head. she takes things out of context, a bit perverted if you will, which makes her come off as childish as she giggles to herself like it's some inside joke. lia is a bit too open and is a cuddler at heart, the one that often initiates skinship despite people not wanting it -- also using it as a form of payback to the ones that are shy.

her resting face comes off as a bit angry looking, but lia doesn't get angry too often, more of the type of person to strike up jealousy instead. she's confident in both her body and ability but get's a bit down when she knows that younger girls have the same or more to offer.


background - lia was born and raised in white rock to two parents and an older brother. she grew up five minutes from the beach, developing a love for swimming and ice cream cones at a young age. she ended up taking a french immersion program offered at both her elementary and high school. like a few other minorities in her school, she was teased but eventually, lia learned to not care all too much as she had some great friends as well.

in her first year of high school (grade 8), she tried out for the street dance team but the teacher suggested the contemporary team instead. in the second year, she indulged in a ten month student exchange to france. while there, she took vocal lessons on the weekends and made a few friends that she still keeps in contact with. it wasn't until she was eighteen that she auditioned for yg entertainment, finishing her final year at korea kent foreign school. she now attends kyung hee cyber university.


off stage persona - she's likes to act laid back, aloof, if you will and with her resting face, many believe it until you get to know her.

on stage persona -  mature, sexy. lia takes on that strong, leader vibe with a hint of 'playful' that's only grown with age.

trainee life  ↣ lia thought that it would be glamerous to train under yg entertainment but she was often just frustrated when she couldn't communicate properly or was home-sick. coming from a well off family, lia didn't yearn for much as a child. least to say, after leaving the comfort of her home to follow a dream, lia was hit with a reality check that she would have to work hard to get it.
during holidays, she ends up visiting her aunt and two nephews in bucheon. eventually, lia made friends with other trainees and while a few have left the company, a couple of them debuted. she tries not to act jealous of them.
