- "If you ever need some fresh produce, come see us. We don't quite have the sheer stock Pierre or Joja do, but it's fresh and we even cultivate wild plants."
- (at 2+ hearts) "Nicole loves Chowder, did you know that? I can't eat it, though... Oh well."
- (at 2+ hearts) "Have you met Shane yet? He loves Beer, though I wish he would drink it less."
- "Emily comes over sometimes to mediate with Nicole. I join them sometimes, it's so relaxing. You should try it, (name)!"
- (Spring or Summer) "Nice day today! Birds singing, sun shining... It's days like this I'm the most thankful for the Valley."
- "Do you ever go to Marnie's ranch? They have the best eggs... I buy some every day. I hope that's not too excessive, though..."
- "You should see Leah's work sometime. I really admire how she can use materials from the forest to create art!"
- "You grow your own vegetables, right? You probably don't need our services too much, then. That's okay, this is mostly a side business."
- (6+ hearts) "Sometimes I miss my family back in the city... My dad was wonderful. He told me I could be whoever I wanted to be, and he'd be behind me 100%. Do you have someone like that in your life...?"
- Two Hearts
- Enter Cindersap Forest between 9AM and 2PM on a sunny day, any season but Winter.
- The player walks into the woods near the lake, where Elis is wandering around as if looking for something. He spots the Farmer and comes over, greeting them cheerily. He asks the Farmer for help locating forage items, saying he thought he saw something around here. The Farmer goes over behind a bush, uncovering a Leek/Spice Berry/Common Mushroom depending on season. Elis is happy to see it, saying that he was looking for more things to sell at he and Nicole's shop. (Unlocks ability to buy foragable items at the shop.)
- Four Hearts
- Enter Marnie's ranch when Shane is home.
- The player enters, standing near the counter of the shop and watching. Shane and Elis are standing in the room on the left, Shane facing the fireplace and Elis a bit behind him. Elis spends a little time talking about the forest, and how many interesting things he finds in it, with Shane only answering with "Mmhmm" and "Interesting", not very engaged in the conversation. Eventually, Shane says he has some things to do, and walks toward his room. Elis looks disappointed, but moves to leave, startling when he sees the farmer. He sighs and expresses disappointment that the farmer saw that, then says "that was kind of embarrassing to see, huh?"
- -"Don't worry about it. I won't tell." (+10 friendship points)
- "Heh... Thanks. I'm not very good with people, I guess."
- -"Everyone goes through stuff like that sometimes." (no effect on friendship)
- "I guess so, huh? It's not a big deal..."
- -"Yeah, it was kind of cringy." (-20 friendship points)
- "Oh... I'm sort of a wreck, huh..."
- Six Hearts
- Enter Elis and Nicole's home when Elis is at home, before 5PM.
- The player enters the cabin, where Elis is fiddling with a table in the middle of the living room. He's excited to see the farmer, running over to them once he spots them, and saying he was hoping to see them today. He then explains that he's training to become a masseuse, but it's hard to get any practice in such a small town. He offers to give the farmer a massage for free, since they work so hard on their farm. The player can answer yes or no.
- -Yes: (+10 friendship points) "Great! Just get on the table and relax, I'll do the rest."
- The farmer moves over to the table and Elis gets close, cheerfully giving them a massage. When he's done, he blushes and asks if the farmer feels better, then the cutscene ends.
- -No: (No effect on friendship) "Oh? That's alright. Some people don't like being touched like that." The cutscene ends early.
- If the player answers yes, they regain 20 stamina after the cutscene is over.
- Eight Hearts
- Enter Cindersap Forest between 4 pm and 8 pm.
- [REDACTED]
- Ten Hearts
- The player will receive a letter from Elis asking them to meet him in Cindersap Forest around noon. Enter between noon and 2PM to trigger the cutscene.
- Elis is standing near the cliffs, looking up at the sky. The player walks over to stand next to him, and he greets them politely, then asks if they ever look at the clouds. The two watch a few clouds go by, some in interesting shapes (a rabbit, a chicken, and a junimo), before he speaks again, telling the player that he likes watching them, because they help him feel better about the things in his life he has no control over. He then says he's tired of chasing after things he'll never have, and that he's trying to learn to appreciate what comes to him naturally. He thanks the player for understanding him before, and that he holds what they said to him in his heart. He turns to face the player, bashfully telling them he's grown very fond of them during the time they've known each other. The player can respond:
- -"I like you too. I'm glad you trust me so much." (no effect on friendship)
- "You're so sweet and understand, you know... I just.. I feel safe around you. Thank you so much, (name), I don't know what to say to thank you, so..." He leans in and kisses the player, and the cutscene fades out.
- -"I don't like you that way." (-500 friendship points)
- "Oh... I just... Nevermind." he leaves, dejected, and the cutscene ends.
