Sam Landry & Eddie Sawyer III (Plot)

Eddie falls out of a window and lands on the ground below, beaten and bruised. Elaborates through inner monologue that he was after intelligence, only for some Gangrel and Brujah to ambush him after he broke into the appropriate building. Seems he was set up.
Eddie proceeds to get up and run, remembering that one of the few sewers in the city is nearby, but the attackers jump out of the building and give chase. Unlike them, he has to stay in cover to avoid being noticed by any nearby civilians, and thus they remain on his heels up to the point where he finds an alley near the sewer entrance he's after, upon which he sees them covering all of the alley's exits and resorts to Obfuscating himself behind some trash.
The gang members tell him to come out and that he's got nowhere to run. He stays where he is, trying to think of a good way to evade them, when suddenly a strange looking man appears in response to the gang's shouts, having apparently mistaken them as being addressed to him. After some banter (in which it's established quite clearly that he is Malkavian), he states that he's "had enough of people interrupting his daydreaming" and proceeds to use Dementation to convince one of the Gangrel members that she's a rabid animal and that the others have come to put her down. This ends up working a little too well, as it immediately causes her to Frenzy, assume her Protean form and begin attacking everyone in the vicinity, himself included. Seeing the opening he needs, Eddie manages to get away undetected.
Even after finding the sewer entrance, Eddie remains Obfuscated, despite how much of a toll it has begun to take on him. He doesn't believe the pursuit is over yet, and he wants to make sure he's perfectly safe and unseen before finding his way back to his den. After a few steps, he realizes he has in fact been followed, not by the gang, but by the Malkavian. Who then calls him out, stating that he can see him and that he "won't ruin [Eddie's] day unless you keep pretending you're not there". Eddie comes out of hiding and the two of them talk, with the Malkavian expressing genuine interest in the Nosferatu's plight and how he managed to get himself entangled in the situation he's currently in.
