Yvain doesn't enter shock

Meanwhile, Yvain is slowly dying of his own wounds between two gates in a small hallway. As he sits there in his own blood, a woman comes along and goes “Hi, are you OK?”
And Yvain is all “Yeah, except all of my blood’s on the outside.”
The woman goes “Hi, I’m Lunette. We should get you out of here before everyone finds you and stabs you for killing Esclados.”
And Yvain goes “Yeah, I should do that. I’m losing…. Wow, a lot of blood.”
She picks him up and leads him out and Yvain manages to heroically not enter shock! Yvain looks at her and is like “Why are you helping me?”
