Shifting Loyalties catch-up:
-The Governor General began an ambitious project called "The New Reclamation", aimed towards reclaiming sections of the Quarantine zone for honest people to live in. This debuted at the same time as his new, giant landship, The Majestic. He began a tour of the Badlands as part of this.

-A general strike was planned by the Union to protest the current working conditions, timed to coincide with the Governor General's return to Malifaux. Violence broke out at the protest between strikers and the Guild Guard, seemingly at the behest of the Governor General himself.

-Soon after, a huge tide of undead and Neverborn attacked the landship and the New Reclamation zone. Hundreds of guards were killed in moments fighting the tide.

-While this was going on, a mysterious explosion destroyed the Governor's mansion, accompanied by a shockwave of raw magic and the appearance of a burning man in the sky above the Breach for a split second. In the wake of this, a gigantic horde of undead began to siege the Eastern slums of Malifaux, and reports came in of the Governor General's death. These are uncertain times, even for malifaux.
