  1. Scootaloo!
  2. >Your mind was racing with thoughts. Do you go to save her and risk the safety of the other two?
  3. >Fuck.
  4. >You all watched in horror as Scootaloo clung desperately to the log as she drifted away.
  5. >Your heart sank as she was dragged further downstream, you could barely hear her calling for you through the stormy weather.
  6. >Maybe someone heard your prayers, but you saw the log stop again. The log was wedged on another rock and debris.
  7. >Scootaloo is hanging on, but the cold water was sapping her strength.
  8. Scoot! Hang on a bit longer, I’ll come get you!
  9. >You look to Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom, their eyes filled with horror and shock.
  10. Girls, hang on tight! I’m taking you back to shore!
  11. >Even though your left arm hurt, probably from being nearly crushed by the log, you being to pull yourself through the swift frigid waters.
  12. >You could see Rarity holding onto the rope with her teeth, but having the rope wrapped around a tree trunk did most of the work.
  13. >Tree branches and other debris swirled around you, but your soaking wet clothes and two fillies was more weight than you could handle.
  14. >If not for the surge of adrenaline that was pumping through your body, then you wouldn’t stand a chance.
  15. >The muscles in your arms screamed at your brain to stop, but you didn’t listen. Not when you’re so close.
  16. >Finally, your feet touch bottom and you’re able to get yourself back to shore. Falling to your hands and knees, you gasp and cough for more air.
  17. >Rarity drops the rope from her mouth and nuzzles Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom as you place them on the ground, “Sweetie Belle! I’m so glad you’re safe.”
  18. >Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom were already crying.
  19. >You manage to catch your breath, and you stand up again.
  20. Rarity, take the girls and send for help. I need to get Scootaloo next.
  21. >”It’s too dangerous Anon.” She pipes up. Grabbing the length of rope, you look to her.
  22. I’m not giving you an option, you’ll be helping us out if you get the girls to safety and get help!
  23. >She nods her head in agreement and takes the girls far away from the stream, “We’ll be back as soon as possible!” she yells through the storm.
  24. >Heading down the stream to get closer to Scootaloo, you keep an ever watchful eye to make sure she’s OK. But time was running out.
  25. >You estimate the distance between you and Scootaloo and how much rope you’ll need. Tying one end around a tree, you brace the swift waters once more.
  26. >The undertow was stronger here and you are instantly swept down under the water, as if a monster seized you by the foot.
  27. >”DAD!” you could hear Scootaloo yell before the water took you.
  28. >Being tossed and turned underwater with your eyes closed is scary. You don’t know which way is up or down.
  29. >You resist the instinct to start flailing your arms and waste oxygen.
  30. >The current grabbed you again, dragging you across the bottom of the river. Putting your hands out, you managed to grab onto a large rock.
  31. >Your lungs were burning and wanting air at this point. You use the rock to pull yourself up from the bottom.
  32. >Breaking the surface you gasp and wipe your eyes.
  33. >”Dad!” Scootaloo cried out, she was happy to see you’re still alive.
  34. >She was not too far away, you managed to swim closer to her.
  35. >But your calculations were off. She was down at one end of the log, and you were only able to reach the other side.
  36. >The rope was at its maximum length.
  37. Scootaloo, you have to come to me!
  38. >Her tiny body was shivering violently, “I can’t... My legs hurt....”
  39. Scootaloo! You have to do it!
  40. >You reached out to her.
  41. >In that moment, her eyes look to yours. And as if the same strength and determination that filled you has now transferred into her, she begins to slowly pull herself along the log.
  42. Keep going Scootaloo, I’m here for you.
  43. >Slowly and surely, she inches her way towards you. You could see the determination in her expression.
  44. >She was so close now, you could almost grab her hoof.
  45. >The log started to give way.
  46. >As the log shifted once more, you both looked to each other. The log dislodged itself and started to float away from you.
  47. >Scootaloo reached out to you, “Dad!” she cried, tears forming in her eyes.
  48. >In that moment, you became more angry than anything else. You were not about to lose her.
  49. >Your hand reached out and grabbed the log by a short jutting branch on the side. This was probably a bad idea.
  50. >The added weight of a huge log being pulled meant the rope tied around your stomach was digging into your gut. It felt like you were going to be cut in half like a block of cheese.
  51. >You struggled to speak
  52. Scootaloo, keep... going...
  53. >She quickened her pace and was almost at your hand. You’ll grab her and let go of the log, that was your plan.
  54. >Something felt off.
  55. >The rope around your waist was coming undone.
  56. >As you felt yourself being pulled by the current, the rope snaps.
  57. >Reaching behind you, you seized the rope in a vice like grip. The pain was unimaginable; this had to be worse than being put on the Rack. You could almost feel your arms being pulled out of the sockets.
  58. >You were now holding the rope in one hand, and a log in the other. “Are you OK?” Scootaloo called out.
  59. Hurry and take my hand!
  60. >You strained to hold onto the rope and log, Scootaloo was practically there. But you had to hold on more matter what.
  61. >Finally, she was within your reach. As you quickly seized her by the hoof, you both watched as the log was sucked up by the river and thrashed among the rocks and boulders.
  62. >A grisly fate for anyone.
  63. >You hoist Scootaloo up to yourself.
  64. You’re doing good, kid. Just hang on, pretend I’m giving you a piggy back.
  65. >Scootaloo clutches her arms around your neck, freeing yourself to grab onto the rope with both hands.
  66. >Lighting and thunder still persisted as the rain came down.
  67. >Both of your arms were burning and fatigue was setting in. Your head submerged several times and you almost breathed in water.
  68. >As you pulled yourself through the water, you had to occasionally stop to catch your breath and rest your arm.
  69. >You could hear Scootaloo whimpering in your ear, poor thing was scared to death. That was more than enough to give you the strength to go on.
  70. >What felt like eternity getting to shore, you eventually felt the bottom of the river and continued to make it to the shore.
  71. >Scootaloo was still clinging to your back as you stumbled to get away from the river’s edge.
  72. >You hacked and cough until water spewed from your lungs. Your stomach felt like it was scrunching up into a ball.
  73. >Easing yourself onto the grassy ground by a tree, you could feel Scootaloo shivering and sobbing to herself. You look to see she had her eyes closed.
  74. >You reached around and plucked her from your shoulders. Unzipping your sweater, you tuck her in and hold her against you.
  75. It’s OK Scoot. You’re safe now...
  76. >She opens her lavender eyes and looks up to you, her shivering seems to slow down. “I knew you could do it dad...”
  77. >You were about to say something, but the whole ordeal has left you feeling faint. You start to pass out and fall flat on your back.
  78. >Scootaloo was standing on top of you, “Dad? Dad!!”
  79. >Her words and the whole world seem to slowly quiet down as you lost consciousness.
  80. >At least she’s safe.
  81. >That’s all you could hope for.
  82. >Everything felt peaceful, but you started hearing voices again.
  83. >”Is he waking up?” a familiar voice asked.
  84. >”I don’t know.” Someone else said. “He is! His eyes are opening!” someone chirped in excitement.
  85. >”I heard he got squashed between logs in the river.”
  86. >Your vision was blurry at first, but you could make out familiar faces. You instinctively stretched out your body. You were warm and dry and laying on a soft bed.
  87. >Rubbing your eyes, you wince in pain as your left forearm shoots a sharp pain. “I told you he would be alright!” a blue pony spoke up.
  88. >”Poor thing... he needs love and affection.”
  89. >You could see that it was Twilight and her friends that surrounded your bed. Fluttershy leapt onto the bed and wrapped her arms around your neck and pecked your forehead, “Anon, I thought we lost you.”
  90. What happened?
  91. >You realized Scootaloo wasn’t here.
  92. Where’s Scootaloo? Where are the girls?
  93. >”Safe, thanks to you Anon.” AppleJack spoke up to put your worries at ease.
  94. Thank God...
  95. >Fluttershy was still embracing you.
  96. Fluttershy, you can stop now.
  97. >The others were too emotional to pull her off; instead they joined in and gave you a group hug. They all expressed gratitude and commented on your courage.
  98. >They broke off from the hug and already pulled out ‘Get Well’ cards.
  99. >Pinkie hopped up and down, “And I even got us some cake to celebrate!” she zips out of the room and pushes in a cart with a large cake covered in pink icing.
  100. How long have I been out for?
  101. >”A couple days, Anon. I didn’t think the storm would turn out that bad. But you’re safe here in the hospital!” Rainbow Dash answered. She wore a look of worry and regret.
  102. Not your fault, just as long as everyone is safe.
  103. >”This is going into my letter for the Princess about courage, if you don’t mind that is.” Twilight asked.
  104. >Rarity came up to your right side and laid a hoof on your hand, “Anon, words cannot express how grateful I am for you saving my little sister.”
  105. >AJ followed up as well, taking her hat off and holding it to her chest, “Same here. As soon as I was told what was happening I rushed to go help you. Sure enough I found you passed out. Poor Scootaloo stayed by your side the entire time.”
  106. >You hope you didn’t cause too much stress for her.
  107. Is she here?
  108. >”Yes.” Rarity answered “And so are the others. They all have something they would like to say.”
  109. >”AJ called over to the door, “Come on in girls, Anon is up and at em.”
  110. >The door swung open and three little fillies walked in, but they all look like they were scolded at. Rarity and AJ must’ve given them an ear full already.
  111. >AppleBloom spoke first, “Thank you Anon for what you did back there.”
  112. >”We didn’t mean for you to get hurt.” Sweetie Belle said.
  113. >Scootaloo looked at you with tears in her eyes, you smiled at her. Closing her eyes, she hops onto the bed and wraps her tiny arms around your neck and sobs quietly.
  114. >She choked through her tears, “I thought... you were going... to... die...”
  115. >You quietly shush to her, calming her down while softly rubbing her back. The other ponies adored how affectionate you were.
  116. It’s OK...
  117. >You look to Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle and they nuzzled against their older sisters. You did feel a little miff that they would be stupid enough to go out during a severe storm, but they seem to be sorry.
  118. >No need to add more anger.
  119. I just wish I was given a heads up; I would’ve bought my swim shorts.
  120. >You chuckle, and so does Scoots. Everyone cracks a smile, but Twilight didn’t seem to be humoured. “Anon, you almost died back there.”
  121. Well, that’s the thing about death. Either you die or you don’t.
  122. >You adjust yourself to sit upright more comfortably. You wince as your left arm gives out more sharp pain.
  123. What’s the damage?
  124. >Fluttershy hovers above, “Nothing that some TLC can’t fix.” She smiles.
  125. Let’s leave it for the doctors, OK?
  126. >Her ears flatten and she places herself back on the ground with this rejected look.
  127. >Twilight answered your question, “Nothing to serious. Doctor said your left arm isn’t broken, but it took the brunt of the log. So you’ll have to stay off it.”
  128. >”You humans are pretty tough.” RD commented.
  129. Did the girls get any medical attention?
  130. >”Just some moderate hypothermia is all. Nothing a bit of warmth and hot cocoa can’t fix.” AJ reassured you.
  131. >”You were so awesome, the way you dove into the water to save us!” Scootaloo shoots her head up.
  132. >AppleBloom adds, “Maybe we should save other ponies too. We could be the uh... Cutie Mark Superheroes!”
  133. >Sharing a laugh, the doctor comes in and tells you that you’ll be able to leave the hospital today.
  134. >He advises not using the left arm for a while and only use it for light work.
  135. >You were feeling well enough to eat some of the cake Pinkie made. And soon you were back on your feet heading home with Scootaloo.
  136. >That night you had Scoot help you make supper, and she was getting better at it.
  137. >As you collected the dirty cookware, you flinch in pain as your left arm couldn’t even handle the weight of a heavy pot.
  138. >”Don’t strain yourself, I’ll help with the dishes.” She gets up and starts to collect the dirty dishes.
  139. How about I wash and you dry, deal?
  140. >”Deal.” She smiles.
  141. >As you scrubbed the dirty dishes, Scootaloo and standing on top of a tall stool and eagerly awaited to dry any dishes that came her way.
  142. Scootaloo.
  143. >”Yeah?”
  144. Whose idea was it to go outside in the rain storm?
  145. >Her ears flatten, “I didn’t mean for anyone to get hurt, dad.” She said meekly.
  146. >Again, you didn’t want to get mad at her and you were sure AJ and Rarity probably told her and the others.
  147. Did AJ and Rarity talk to you about it?
  148. >”Yes sir...” she sniffled.
  149. >She was starting to become upset.
  150. I’m not mad, if anything I’m thankful that you’re safe. But in the future, practice some common sense. OK?
  151. >Giving her a warm smile, Scootaloo smiled as well.
  152. Hey, you missed a spot on that dish.
  153. >”Where?” she said examining the dish.
  154. >With your wet hand, you quickly flick your fingers and sprayed droplets at her face.
  155. >”Hey!”
  156. >You chuckled at her. She reaches into the sink and splashes you with the warm water.
  157. >Both of you laugh harder now.
  158. You little turkey!
  159. >Picking her up, she giggles and laugh as you tickle her, “Hahahaha! STOP IT! Ohahahaha!”
  160. Time for a bath!
  161. >You hang her over the sink, but you didn’t intend to actually do it. She squirms and laughs even harder, “Ack! Don’t! Ahahahaha!”
  162. >Some of the water that splashed onto the floor caused you to stumble and fall backwards, but not too hard. Scootaloo was still in your clutches.
  163. >”Are you OK?” she asked.
  164. >You laughed to yourself
  165. I am now.
  166. >Giving her a gentle noogie, you let go of her and you both finish cleaning the dishes.
  167. >Later as Scootaloo got into bed, you read her another chapter of Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone.
  168. >She loves how to become animated and in character when you read her stories.
  169. >She yawns and her eyelids start to slowly close just when you finish reading the chapter. Placing the book on the nightstand you softly run your hands over her forehead and through her mane.
  170. >With a peck on her forehead, you wished her goodnight before turning off the lights and heading to bed yourself.
  171. >2 weeks later
  172. What do you mean it didn’t work?
  173. >You stood up before Twilight, shocked and outraged that her attempts at talking to Fluttershy haven’t worked.
  174. >”I’m really sorry Anon. But she is convinced that she is in love with you and you need love in return.” She speaks with regret.
  175. Well is there any way we can make her unconvinced?
  176. >”Anon, you’re taking this a little too seriously.”
  177. YOU’RE not taking this seriously. She’s up to her tricks and stupid attempts to guess my fetish!
  178. >”All I’m saying is, I know how uncomfortable it must be.” Her voice was calm and soothing.
  179. I suppose you have a random animal knocking at your door everyday asking what gets you off?!
  180. >That was a little much. Twilight looks hurt from the comment.
  181. >Rubbing your forehead you made amends
  182. I’m sorry, but Twilight I don’t wish to get intimate with a pony.
  183. >”Anon, we’re not animals. We’re sentient creatures like you. We can feel emotions. We want to love, laugh, grow and develop.”
  184. I’m sorry, but I just don’t feel that way. It’s the touch of a female human I would prefer. But my responsibility is with Scootaloo right now.
  185. >Twilight seemed upset at you, “So that’s it? Humans are these pure creatures who really think themselves above all other animals?”
  186. We’re the dominant species. We don’t have pleasant conversations with cows grazing in the pastures like you do. That’s just how it is back home.
  187. >”But you’re not home, you’re here in Equestria!” she raised her voice. You both stood there looking at each other. Tempers were beginning to flare.
  188. >Neither of you said anything, but Twilight wasn’t helping your situation.
  189. What are you saying? I take Fluttershy into the sack and show her a good time?
  190. >She seemed shocked and flustered at such a statement, “I never said that!”
  191. OK Twilight, let’s think of it like this. If I was so brazen to go about getting intimate with ponies, Fluttershy would be the last one on the list.
  192. >”Anon, Fluttershy is the kindest and sweetest pony there is. You should feel lucky that someone like her is interested in you.” The anger in her voice was rising.
  193. Kindness seems to overshadow the importance of listening!
  194. >”Why are you blocking her out, Anon? What are you scared of?”
  195. Don’t change the subject on me...
  196. >”You’re obviously scared of something, Anon. What is it?”
  197. I’m not scared of her!
  198. >”Then what’s the problem? If you’re not scared of her then why reject her?”
  199. >This was reaching to a critical stage.
  200. >Without realizing it, you were breathing faster and your fists were clenched.
  201. >Slowing yourself down, you relaxed a bit and looked to her with a fierce determination.
  202. I don’t deserve this interrogation. See you later, Twilight.
  203. >You go to reach the doorknob, but a magical aura covers it, preventing you from opening the door.
  204. >”Anon, I’m sorry!”
  205. >You didn’t want to look at her, but you slowly turned to her.
  206. Twilight, maybe we both need to cool down for a bit?
  207. >You still felt like you wanted to leave before you said anything else, “Anon, I didn’t mean to get so confrontational.”
  208. >Her sad eyes made it hard to stay mad at her.
  209. Twilight, you and the others are not just animals. You’re wonderful creatures.
  210. >”Fluttershy feels the same way.” Twilight softly replies.
  211. >”Maybe when you show her the love she needs, then maybe she’ll go back to being that kind and tender pony.”
  212. >That sill felt like it was impossible.
  213. Twilight, she snuck into my house. Did you know what she did to a photo I had of me and Scootaloo?
  214. >”What?” she asked.
  215. She placed of herself over Scootaloo. I’m scared for her, Twilight. I’m afraid...
  216. >You had to pause because you didn’t want to think of such horrible things.
  217. I’m afraid she’ll hurt Scootaloo.
  218. >Twilight gasped, “Anon, how could you say something like that about Fluttershy? She would never hurt anything!”
  219. >You have to admit it would be extreme for her to do something like that.
  220. But why would she place herself over Scootaloo?
  221. >Twilight pondered for a moment, “Well... how do I know you’re not just making it up?”
  222. What?
  223. >”You seem headstrong to not get involved with her by any means.” She bluntly puts it.
  224. >You couldn’t believe she was saying this.
  225. So I’m a liar then?
  226. >”I’m not saying that, Anon. But if you really want to reject Fluttershy’s abnormal advances then you have two choices.”
  227. I’m listening.
  228. >You had a good idea what she was going to say.
  229. >”You could either learn to love her and accept the love she has for you, or you find yourself a nice mare that you do like. That way Fluttershy will have no choice but to not bother you.”
  230. >It made sense, but this still wasn’t the answer you were looking for. You sat down on the couch rubbing your forehead again.
  231. Twilight, I don’t know about this.
  232. >”Just do what feels right in here.” She places her hoof to your chest. “That’s what made you help Scootaloo in the first place.” She smiles warmly at you.
  233. >You are now Scootaloo.
  234. >Sitting in Miss. Cheerilee’s class, you did your best to stay focused.
  235. >You were mostly interested in playing outside with your friends, and using any chance you have to get a cutie mark.
  236. >”OK my little ponies, since you did so well on your last test we can have some free time before the end of the day!” Miss Cheerilee announces.
  237. >Her students cheered in happiness as Miss Cheerilee starts designating activities to her students, making sure that they all had an equal chance at playing some of the fun educational games.
  238. >But you didn’t really feel like playing board games. AppleBloom was having Sweetie Belle help her to read a chapter in their book.
  239. >Maybe a drawing?
  240. >Yeah, a drawing of Anon and you!
  241. >Taking out your best set of crayons, you set about drawing him and yourself.
  242. >Miss Cheerilee walked by and asked if you were sure that you didn’t want to play any of the games.
  243. It’s OK, I’ll just sit here and draw. This is going to be for my dad.
  244. >You continue scribbling for a while, making sure everything was perfect. It was going to be for your new dad after all.
  245. >Miss Cheerliee stepped out for a minute and left the student of the week in charge to make sure nothing gets out of hand.
  246. >Drawing yourself next to him, you enclosed yourselves with a big red heart. On the back of the paper, you signed it “To my awesome dad! With love, Scootaloo”
  247. >Sitting there and admiring your working, two fillies walk by. It was Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
  248. >They caught a glance of what you were drawing. “What are you drawing there?” Asked Diamond Tiara.
  249. >You quickly place your arms over the picture
  250. Oh, it’s nothing. Just a drawing.
  251. >Silver Spoon quickly snatches it from you and darts away.
  252. Hey!
  253. >You get up from your seat and go after her.
  254. >Silver Spoon tosses the paper back to Diamond Tiara who snatches it and looks at the drawing, “What’s this? A picture of you and that monkey?”
  255. He is not a monkey!
  256. >The other foals gathered around, including AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle, but they were behind most of the other students.
  257. >Silver Spoon joined in the taunting, “Oooh, look what it says on the back: ‘With love’ Are you going to marry the monkey too?” they both giggle and laugh.
  258. >You could feel a burning sensation in your cheeks as well as anger in your entire body.
  259. >”A blank flank and a monkey lover, this is too rich.” Diamond Tiara scoffed. You scowled even harder at them
  260. >With a tiny snort you charge at Diamond Tiara, but you’re stopped by AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle who grab you by the tail.
  261. Let me go!
  262. >AppleBloom spoke to them, “Give her back the picture, Tiara.”
  263. >Diamond Tiara scoffs once more, “Whatever, it’s an ugly picture anyways.” She takes the paper between her hooves and rips it in tow. It splits right down the middle and falls to the floor.
  264. >To add insult to injury, they both step on it as they walk away.
  265. >You could feel the tears building up in your eyes. You wanted to get back at them so badly, but you knew it would be wrong to do. Your dad taught you better.
  266. >As the crowd of foals broke up, Sweetie Belle and AppleBloom let you go. You rushed over to the ripped paper.
  267. >Your lips trembled as you looked at the ruined picture. It was ripped right down the centre, splitting both you and your dad apart.
  268. >Clutching the paper close to you, you began to sniffle as AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle tried to comfort you.
  269. >”Look, she’s crying!” Silver Spoon yelled out so the whole classroom could hear and look at you.
  270. >Miss Cheerilee walks back into the room, “What’s going on in here?”
  271. >The bell rang for school to end, and everyone left right away except for you and your two friends.
  272. >You were too distraught to tell the teacher yourself, but AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle were able to explain what happened on your behalf.
  273. >Miss Cheerilee rubbed your back gently. You didn’t want to cry, but you could stop sniffling as you held back the tears.
  274. >She looks at the drawing that was ripped, and just like adults always do, they seemingly make things OK again.
  275. >Wiping it clean of dust and dirt, Miss Cheerilee tapes the paper back together and gives it back to you, good as new.
  276. >You felt much better now.
  277. >AppleBloom and Sweetie Belle made sure you were OK, but before you could leave Miss Cheerilee handed you an envelope and instructed you to give it to Anon.
  278. >Cheerilee had another envelop as well, probably for someone else.
  279. >You are now Anon.
  280. >After much talking with Twilight, you both felt like there was much to talk about, but she said to come back tomorrow afternoon. Maybe the time will do you both some good.
  281. >She mentioned that there is something important coming up right away that you should know.
  282. >Scootaloo should be out of school by now.
  283. >Heading home, you had to make sure she wasn’t going to be stuck waiting outside for you.
  284. >She’s probably old enough to have a key to the house herself.
  285. >As you took a scenic route home, who else but Fluttershy shows up. She slowly floats through the trees and flies next to you.
  286. >”Oh... hello Anon. Nice day isn’t it?”
  287. >Just play it cool, Anon...
  288. Yes, spring weather is my favourite.
  289. >”Is beautiful scenery your fetish?” she questions you.
  290. How is that even possible?
  291. >She blushes, “Maybe you like to be one with nature as you perform a beautiful and natural act.”
  292. >You just kept walking, but she looked at you waiting for you to reply.
  293. >”A-Am I right?” she asks meekly.
  294. No.
  295. >”Oh...” her ears droop in sadness. “I know you’re probably mad at me, but why?”
  296. Why?
  297. >”Yes, am I doing something wrong?”
  298. Well, you’re not leaving me alone. That’s a start. You’re more interested in my junk than who I am as a human and I’m worried about Scootaloo as it is.
  299. >She gasps, “That is not true! You don’t have ‘junk’ between your strong legs, Anon.”
  300. >Christ-on-a-Stick, this pony is dense.
  301. >Fuck this. She was getting way out of hand and anything is better than putting up with her childishness.
  302. Fluttershy, you’re being stupid. I’m not interested in you, and I’ve found someone else that I like.
  303. >Her eyes go wide and she seizes you by the collar of your shirt with surprising strength “Who?!”
  304. >You didn’t know anyp0ny off the top of your head that was a good candidate. You were just straight up lying, but soon you would have to make it come true.
  305. That’s none of your business, Fluttershy.
  306. >Her eyes displayed this wild abandon of passion and frustration.
  307. Can you please let me go?
  308. >Snapping out of it, she releases her grip off you and tears gloss over her eyes, “First Scootaloo... and now somep0ny has taken your love from me...?”
  309. >Her voice trembled as she spoke these words. She fluttered to the ground and looked to the ground sobbing.
  310. >Not this circus show again...
  311. Fluttershy, we can still be friends...
  312. >You reach down to pat her head, but she turns her head up looking fiercely at you. Words could not describe the scowl she had on her face.
  313. >She butts her head into you, pushing you to the ground.
  314. What the hell, Fluttershy?
  315. >She stood there, her scornful eyes pierced your very soul.
  316. >You were scared for a moment.
  317. >She was breathing heavily through her clenched teeth, but her expression softened again. She started to cry.
  318. Fluttershy...
  319. >She begins to run away from you with tears falling to the ground.
  320. >Better let her go for now, she needs to cool down.
  321. >Getting back to your feet, you made your way home. Sure enough as soon as you reach the front door, Scootaloo was racing down the road with her scooter.
  322. Hey Scoots! How was school?
  323. >She seemed upset about something.
  324. What’s wrong sweet heart?
  325. >She pulls out an envelope from her school bag and hands it to you. “It’s from Miss Cheerilee” she replies.
  326. Did something happen at school?
  327. >Both of you go inside and get some after school snacks made. Scootaloo tells you what happened at school.
  328. >Miss Cheerilee wanted you and Filthy Rich to come to school tomorrow and talk about this incident.
  329. >Well this was stupid, you know Diamond Tiara is a spoiled brat and Scootaloo wouldn’t start a confrontation.
  330. >”They called you a monkey, dad.” She replies, looking sadly at her celery stick smothered with peanut butter and coated with raisins.
  331. >You scratched your head; you didn’t want Scootaloo to have a hard time in school. This is probably why she wanted to come home by herself.
  332. Well, I am a kind of monkey. Maybe I should grow a tail.
  333. >You start to mimic monkey sounds and pick through her mane, pretending you were looking for bugs. She giggles as you do so.
  334. >You stop to read the letter again, and it does mention her concern for Scootaloo in regards to you assuming parental responsibilities. It says to come by after school tomorrow.
  335. Alright, I’ll go have a chat with your teacher and Mr. Filthy tomorrow. See if I can’t talk some horse sense into him.
  336. >”What?” she asks.
  337. It’s just an expression, eat your snack.
  338. >Scootaloo pulled out a piece of paper, “I made this for you.” She said with a sulk in her voice.
  339. >You examine the picture, it was you and her drawn together with a big heart surrounding both of you. On the back it said ‘To my awesome dad! With love, Scootaloo’.
  340. >”It’s kinda ruined, I was going to throw it away.” She adds.
  341. Are you kidding me? This is going on the fridge.
  342. >You take out a fridge magnet from a drawer and place it high on the fridge door. She seemed really surprised that you would even like it.
  343. I didn’t know my little Scootaloo was an artist!
  344. >You snatch her in your bear hug grip and swing her around, “I used my best set of crayons, just for you.” She smiled as she hugged you.
  345. >The next day, you waited for Scootaloo to come home before heading to school. You had her after school snacks ready for her.
  346. >As soon as she arrived, you greeted her and told her to get started on her homework as soon as she was done snacking.
  347. >You told her you had to visit Twilight afterwards, but you didn’t expect to be long. After warning her about answering the door, especially if it was Fluttershy, you grabbed your jacket and headed off to the school.
  348. >As soon as you arrive, you were greeted by Cheerilee and Filthy Rich was already sitting down by her desk.
  349. >”Thank you for coming.” She says.
  350. Thanks for letting me know about this.
  351. >You glance at Filthy Rich, he glances at you.
  352. >Miss Cheerilee doesn’t waste too much time before getting into what happened yesterday.
  353. >Of course Filthy Rich objects to the accusations. “My daughter told me that it was Scootaloo who started calling her names. Her friend Silver Spoon told me the same thing.”
  354. >Bullshit.
  355. Scootaloo told me a different story, Mr. Filthy.
  356. >”Please, call me Mr. Rich.” He insisted. You know Mr. Filthy was going to be difficult, but he wasn’t trying to be a bad guy.
  357. Mr. Rich, Scootaloo told me that Diamond Tiara and her friend took a picture and made fun of her because Scootaloo drew a picture of me on it. Then afterwards, Tiara ripped the picture.
  358. >”My little angel wouldn’t do such a thing, I assure you.”
  359. >You look to Miss Cheerilee, “How does Scootaloo and Tiara’s files match up in the past?”
  360. >Cheerilee sighs as she takes out two folder. One small and the other thick with paper. “Granted that we don’t have a lot of info on Scootaloo, both files show they’re doing fairly well in their academics.”
  361. >Mr. Rich interjects, “Why does that matter? Tiara is a good student and that proves it.”
  362. If you’ll give Cheerilee a minute to talk, she’ll explain it to you.
  363. >She nods her head, “As I was saying, based on my observations Tiara has been caught on numerous occasions teasing the other students. Especially those without a cutie mark. So it’s not just Scootaloo, but her friends and some of the other classmates.”
  364. Mr. Rich, I didn’t come here to prove a point. I just want to talk about how we can resolve this. I’m sure there’s a reason for her remarks and lashing out at others. Is there something going on a home?
  365. >He became a bit flustered and for good reason; no one wants to hear about how their kid is causing problems for others. “Tiara has a family and a wonderful home! We give her all that she needs to be happy.”
  366. >Now it was all coming together, as you already had a good idea.
  367. Who watches after her?
  368. >”We have nannies that help us with that.” He replies.
  369. Mr. Rich, I’m not a wealthy person like you. So tell me, when was the last time you ever spent time with your daughter?
  370. >”Miss Cheerilee, you can’t just sit there and expect me to be dictated to by this human who isn’t even the real father of one of your students.”
  371. >Now this bastard was playing hardball.
  372. Mr. Rich we’re both adults here, but it doesn’t take some genius to figure out you can’t raise or buy your child’s happiness with money. Again, when was the last time you and your wife spent quality time with your daughter? Or do you pay your nanny to do that?
  373. >”You know nothing about what I have to do to keep my business afloat. I’m trying to be a good provider.” He scoffs at you. “I make more in a month that you’ll ever make living here.”
  374. Mr. Rich, you are so prosperous in your possessions and bank account, but you lack the wealth of being a father. The only thing your daughter probably sees in you is a blank check. When she needs her parents there the most, all she gets in place is more stuff to fill that void.
  375. >Mr. Rich was becoming more annoyed, but at the same time he seemed like he was trying to control himself.
  376. I might not be Scootaloo’s real father, but I’m sure as hell acting like one. I can’t afford nice things at the moment, but I’m fulfilling her emotional needs.
  377. >Miss Cheerilee sat there in a shocked state. She’s never seen anyone talk to Mr. Filthy Rich like that.
  378. >In his frustrated state, he avoids eye contact to the both of you and heads to the door, “Well, I can see this is becoming one sided...”
  379. Mr. Rich.
  380. >”What?” he calls out, but not turning to look at you.
  381. I hope our... kids won’t be having anymore problems. I’ll be sure to talk to mine.
  382. >Clearing his thought, he mumbles with a nod and heads out the door.
  383. >In that moment of silent, you turn to look back at Miss Cheerilee.
  384. Sorry about that.
  385. >”Not a problem, Anon.” She smiles. “In fact, I was cheering for you the whole time.”
  386. Really?
  387. >”Of course! You are such a wonderful father to Scootaloo. Not too many stallions have that fatherly charm. You’ll make somep0ny... very happy one day.”
  388. We’ll see about that.
  389. >You were about to leave, but Miss Cheerilee asked you something, “Oh, Anon, before you go.”
  390. Yes?
  391. >She seemed to be smiling nervously but she turns to her desk looking for something, “Actually, it’s OK. I’ll uh, see you again soon next week? The children love it when you read to them.”
  392. As always.
  393. >As you left the school and headed to Twilight’s, something struck you as curious about her.
  394. >It would have to wait, but Twilight wanted to talk to you again today. Maybe if you tell her what happened yesterday with Fluttershy then maybe Twilight will see how weird she is.
  395. >Knocking on the door, Twilight answers. She seemed... flustered. “Anon, come on in.”
  396. You’re not going to believe what happened yesterday.
  397. >Sitting down on the couch next to her you briefly tell her that when you said you had a special someone to Fluttershy, she knocked you over and ran away crying.
  398. >Twilight seemed like she was half asleep when you were talking to her. “Anon, there’s probably a good reason why she acting like that.”
  399. Why’s that?
  400. >Biting her lower lips while she adverted her eyes, she says “Ever heard of estrus?”
  401. Um, can’t say I have really.
  402. >”Estrus is when a mare becomes... sexually active and seeks a stallion to mate with.” She was blushing at this point. “Estrus happens around this time of year. In fact it starts tomorrow.”
  403. So you’re saying Fluttershy was all emotional from an early start in her estrus? How long does it last?
  404. >”About 7 days. Everyp0nies biological clock is different; some might start a day early or late.” She was getting all squirmy where she sat.
  405. >Well, Fluttershy was going to be all emotional during this time; at least Twilight was nice enough to warn you.
  406. So I have to avoid Fluttershy for a week is all?
  407. >”Actually, there’s another problem.” She adds.
  408. What’s that?
  409. >”There aren’t that many stallions here in Ponyville. Most of them already have somep0ny that they’re spending time with. “
  410. You’re not that bad looking, I’m sure you can find a nice stallion.
  411. >”Anon... It’s you I want.” She says quietly.
  412. What?
  413. >Next thing you know, she’s already pushed you down and is standing on top of you.
  414. >Nope.jaypeg
  415. >You didn’t want to hurt her, but you shoved her off and stood up.
  416. What the hell is wrong with you?
  417. >She was pushed on her back; her pony parts were wet and glistening. She sits back up, “I’m sorry Anon. I’m really trying not to.”
  418. I better go then, I’ll see you in a week.
  419. >You reached for the doorknob, but a magical aura covers it and locks it. “Anon, just this once?” she speaks to you sweetly.
  420. Twilight, this isn’t funny!
  421. >She gives you those bedroom eyes, “Anon, think of what we could learn and experience from this...” her voice was soft and almost hypnotic.
  422. >The tip of her horn glows and you could feel a force pushing you away from the door.
