- Description: Blanche and another man broke into Doris’ home and beat her, fracturing her skull and breaking several ribs, before tying her up. They then ransacked the house, before fleeing in her car, which was found abandoned the next day. From the robbery they got $40 and some jewelry. Doris was taken to the hospital, where she died 3 weeks later of a heart attack. Officials determined that she died of “natural causes” and, as a result, Blanche will not face a murder charge.
