- You are members of a small mercenary band, living in a once-nameless world affectionately given the moniker Wayfare, on the continent of Veer, and currently, you're in the city of Nimae. When it comes down to it, however, Wayfare isn't much of a world, Veer is barely a continent, and Nimae is hardly a city.
- The world Wayfare is comprised of pieces of other worlds that have drifted away or been otherwise separated from their planet. Somehow, these pieces seem to fit together almost perfectly, though the biomes involved don't always match - one foot could be desert, which turns into a forest the next foot. One half of a city may be brick and mortar, entrenched in the dark ages, while the other half gleams with the steel of advanced civilization.
- Veer is the smallest continent on Wayfare, roughly the size of Alaska(which is pretty tiny for a continent), and is comprised of pieces from only two worlds, whose names are long lost to all but the most esoteric of libraries. The inner section of this glorified island, the city of Nimae, stands short save for the regal wooden towers that pepper its land, while the outside rim is a gigantic forest filled with 300-foot-tall trees and monsters scaled to match. This ring of protection makes the traditionalistic city-state nigh impenetrable to all but the most concise of armies.
- Despite that, your little band has been hired - specifically, which is a rarity in this bounty-natured world - for protection by the city. The leader, a graceful but middle-aged woman named Fen, will say little on the matter, except that they have come to believe that an army from the neighbouring island of Yuda, known for its unnerving, always-robed clansmen, will soon launch an assault against the city, bypassing the protective forest entirely.
- Your boss, name yet to be determined, has decided to take the job, since she(and you) need the money pretty badly, and this job offers a pretty penny.
- Your character can be from anywhere in the world - meaning you get to come up with most any sort of city, town, or village you want. Monsterpeople and the like are acceptable, but please, something humanoid and not commonly reviled. Species wise, the old staples of Elves, Dorfs, Orcs, and Goblins are...not here. They don't exist. Humans, demons, oni, humanoid Disgaea-esque monsters, those do. Anyway I have work now. Well okay elves sort of exist in that people with long ears exist but they're not really elves.
- MECHANICAL CHANGES: There are no Pokemon in this campaign, just NPCs and monsters. Obviously, this means that any class that strictly relies on Pokemon to function(Rider, Ace Trainer, Mentor, etc) is banned. Classes that don't FOCUS on Pokemon support, but include a Feature or two that targets Pokemon(such as Dancer, Athlete, Fashionista, Chef, etc) can be reworked slightly on request, replacing Features with non-Pokemon-related ones.
- Any of my Homebrew Classes are available(unless they're Pokemon oriented), as well as my Arcane Weapon rework:

- Arcane Weapons and some Edges: http://pastebin.com/pJqvx0jx
