When he came close enough, he pulled out a long, thin blade from his waist and jabbed forward, catching her in the upper thigh.
Aida crumpled to the ground.
"Creighton!" Aida yelled, but Master Sun was nowhere to be seen.
He could now be fighting on the other side of the Lazuli, out of view.
The Path member swung his blade, but Aida's lightsaber did not swing fast enough to catch it. She saw the next milliseconds as if they were being dragged through tar, slow and inevitable, waiting for the blow to land on her.
