Alexithymiaa: -Steph was sitting on the floor with her notebook in her lap, the new dog lying on the floor next to her as she'd noticed he refused to get on any of the furniture. She was happy to be back from Seattle to spend a bit more time with him, and Kristen had essentially invited herself over to meet him. // Kristen was sitting on the floor on the other side of the dog, stroking her hand down over his head gently. "If you want a super badass name, you should name him like... Rocky. Or Rambo."-
Covet: "Eh, I've seen the sequel to Rambo... not really my shtick." Felix said, "Wait.. What was the name of the dude guy for the police in your batman universe?" he said excitedly, getting a half bright lightlbulb.
Alexithymiaa: "You just like Stallone. And I don't, for the record." She said as she eyed Kristen, scribbling a few things into her notebook. "Commissioner Gordon?" // "There is nothing wrong with Stallone, okay. He's still hot even in his seventies." She said quickly, leaning over to give the dog a hug.-
Covet: "Yeah, Gordon. It fits with the good guys, and he's a cop... which is fitting, and it matches the theme. See I can play this game too." Felix said with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "Gordon?' She asked, thinking about it for a moment before it sank in what Kristen had said. "Can you not lust after people that could be your grandparents? Thanks." She spoke before staring at the dog. "I can see Gordon." // "Hey, if you've got it, you've got it. Age doesn't dictate that." She spoke shortly, getting up to her feet and walking into the kitchen to get herself a bottle of water.-
Covet: Felix grinned, " We can even get him one of those collars that has a flashlight on it. So he's have his own bat signal." Then he looked over at Kristen, "You are a very strange woman. Stallone isn't anywhere near attractive anymore...half of his face doesn't seem to work."
Alexithymiaa: "I think I like it." She turned back to the dog, putting her hands on his head to scratch him. "Are you Gordon?" She asked with a smile. // Kristen scoffed loudly, pointing her water bottle at Felix. "Hey, don't hate. I like being a strange woman. It works for me. I get awkward stares from the mommies at Whole Foods." She tipped her water back to take a sip, shaking her head. "You wouldn't even get it. He's gorgeous with or without a working face."-
Covet: "I really don't get it.. And I'm strangely comfortable with not getting it." He said to Kristen and smiled at their interaction. "I'm not sure if I should feel proud or ashamed that it took us that long to come up with that."
Alexithymiaa: "We're just being thorough, it's okay." She stared into the dog's face, watching him. "Do you think he's ever going to sit on the couch with us?" // "Good." She smirked at Felix, walking back over into the living room to take a seat on the couch. "You should take that as a good thing. He's really big and if he's already trained not to jump on the furniture, it's probably for the best."-
Covet: "Probably not, He's been trained not to. Which that's okay, especially if he feels most comfortable on the floor." Felix said. "It's probably a safety thing for him."
Alexithymiaa: "I feel kind of bad though..." She trailed off, dipping her head back down to stare into her notebook. "What if he's not comfortable and he's just doing it because he was trained he had to?" (This is why all of your animals are monsters) // "Something tells me thats not really the case, but sure." Kristen rolled her eyes, glancing at Felix. "Do you even want him on the furniture?"-
Covet: "I'm sure he's fine. You're overthinking it. How often is Nugget happy just chilling on the floor?" He asked her with a look, then looked at Kristen, "I don't care one way or the other, it doesn't bother me."
Alexithymiaa: "He lives with it because he can't get his big butt onto the couch to join us. That's why I always try to help him up when he comes by. Penny always jumps up unless she's chewing on her bone. I just don't want him to think he's not a part of the family." // Kristen lifted a hand to scratch at her black and pink dreads, letting out a sigh before giving Felix a look. "Girl, this is why you have a zoo. He's fine."-
Covet: "We'll encourage it, but not demand it. Don't you worry your head about it." Felix said to Steph, "Kristen kind of has a point. Plus Gordon's going to be the best trained out of all of them."
Alexithymiaa: "He's already the best trained out of all of them." She grumbled, glancing at Penny from across the room licking the kitchen floor. // "You know... I'd be happy to come crash here for the week you guys are in Mexico. Any opportunity I have to get away from my roommates and spend some time with furballs is welcome."-
CovetCovet : "Sweet, sounds good to me." Felix said, "Normally we'd just ask Nick." He said putting his arms behind his head.
Alexithymiaa: "I doubt Nick would mind though. He likes the dogs a lot, but he does have two of his own. And if he really misses them that much, I'm sure you wouldn't mind if he came by for a little doggy playdate, right?" She asked, unable to keep the smile off her face because she'd been waiting for Kristen to quit mourning over Josh. // "I don't mind. They're pretty cute so I can see being attached to them."-
Covet: "Oh yeah, I'm sure that would be fine. I've got no problem with it, Do you Kristen?" He asked her picking up on what Steph was trying to set up over here.
Alexithymiaa: -Pleased that Felix was helping her play matchmaker like an asshole over here, she got to her feet and walked to him, taking a seat down next to him and stroking her hand over his. "Nick is great. I've known him forever. He's a really sweet guy, you'll love him." // Kristen gave a quick shrug of her shoulders, not entirely sure why they were suddenly so concerned about this. "No? It's not really a big deal. I'm sure it'll be fine."-
Covet: "Cool, you'll get along great. Just make sure to use the guest room." He said making it a little more obvious like a dumbass.
Alexithymiaa: -Her eyes went wide, jabbing her elbow quickly into his side and hissing at him between her teeth. // Kristen turned around quickly, looking over at the two. "What exactly do you think is going to happen?"-
Covet: "Nothing, I'm just protective of my bed." Felix said. "that means it's animals only." He said trying to cover up what he had said, poorly, so very very poorly.
Alexithymiaa: -She moved her hand to rub her face beneath her glasses, letting out a sigh. "Please stop talking." // Kristen was just glaring at Felix, setting her bottle of water down. "I think I know you guys well enough to know when you're being abnormally weird."-
Covet: "You're abnormally weird." Felix said shooting a look at Kristen. "Stallone lover." He said with an eyeroll.
Alexithymiaa: "Alright alright, enough." SHe raised her voice a bit, seeing Gordon perk up. // Kristen rolled her eyes. "Better than any of YOUR taste." She shot back, climbing to her feet and running her hands over her black ripped jeans.-
Covet: "Psh, I've got great taste." He said giving Steph a wink.
Alexithymiaa: -She raised her brows at Kristen, taking the comment a little off, smiling uncomfortably. "What's that supposed to mean?" // "What? No. I didnt mean it like that. It was just a joke." She blew out a deep breath, dropping her hands to her sides. "I'm actually going to go, before I talk out of my ass any more. Have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow." She told them both, giving a little wave before heading to the front door.-
Covet: "Later Kristen." Felix said calling out with a laugh, having thoroughly confused her. He was amused, then patted the spot next to him. "Come cuddle up with me. I need me some fiance loves."
Alexithymiaa: -She waited until she heard the front door close before sliding up closer to Felix, tipping her head into his chest to cuddle. "I can't wait until we get a ring on your finger so everyone knows you're mine."-
Covet: "Just a fwe more months." He said running his hands through her hair as he closed his eyes.
Alexithymiaa: "Mhmm.." She mumbled, closing her eyes and getting comfy. Sleeps. Probably.-
