Honda 2 FAQ

I'm attempting to achieve the lowest possible time on Piston Honda 2- a 39.97. This time has been the theoretical lowest time ever since Mchazard TASed it in 2013, but nobody has achieved it yet. I hold the current world record of 39.99, which is one frame away from 39.97.

In order to achieve a time of 39.97, you must not lose more than 1 frame from execution throughout the entire fight. There are 10 places of execution in the fight; therefore, 9 of them must be frame perfect to have a chance at this, with the one missed having to be late by no more than one frame. These frame perfect punches are each significantly tougher than the ones on Mike Tyson due to there being a longer window between them.

I also need three separate 50/50 chances to go my way- a random star in phase 1, a random star in phase 2, and the low health refill in phase 2. That makes the randomness for the whole fight 1/8- significantly less random than most other world record level fights in the game, but the execution for this fight is way harder than most, if not all of those.

Making it past phase 1 requires extremely tight execution, and even if I knock him down, it might not be fast enough. The first punch in phase 2 must be a face punch for this strat to work, which requires playing within one frame of perfect in phase 1. I've kept track of how many attempts have gotten this phase 2 facejab since I started doing this strategy with the number in the corner of the stream.

I probably won't be as active with chat while going for this record, since it takes a lot of focus to get this time.
