- New World was a resounding success if you consider millions of players buying the game and being entertained for a few months. People want an Amazon MMO. I'm interested in discourse on design, advertising, and monetization potential. What do you think the chances are of getting a rotation of multiplayer, especially PvP games (which are far more popular than singleplayer games), to satisfy the huge market that the most played games are missing? Minecraft (poor combat and social identity), CS and MOBAs (repetitive lobby games), survival games (not massively multiplayer), and contemporary MMOs (themeparks) show a huge potential for innovating gaming with huge social interaction and a living world. People want a game where you can be anybody and play with anybody. And you have the skill to make it anything people want. The ideas are endless, but see Self Determination Theory for reference of "player needs". What do you think?
