  1. well i turned off my laptop, drove home tried to turn it on, froze on windows 7 logo i waited a long time(20 mins). i held the power button to restart it. tried again, it failed again, tried safe mode it froze while loading drivers. i tried all the different recovery options it all failed. i sometimes boot to a black screen when starting windows otherwise it freezes. i figured i could try and fix it with a win 7 repair or reinstalation but when i booted the cd it takes insanely long to get anywhere and has been no help( minimum to get to first launch screen is an hour, and ive left it trying to start overnight once which just ended up with a black screen after the windows logo(booting form win 7 cd) i got a repair disk from ebah on ##windows and it booted ok the first time but froze when it was searching for windows installations. ive had no luck with it since. i have a puppy installed on my flash drive that im using now... in windows i have 3 partitions on 1 HDD (toshiba 160gb) C:/ acer D:/ Data and Z:/ temp. In puppy i can mount Z as sda1 with read and write, i can mount c with an error and read only, and D has same error as c but does not have read or write (empty file window).
