  2. Arisu sensed the stars of chakra long before they entered the building, the dead wood offering little in the way of cover to her unique sight. As they entered and dispelled the smoke, she exhaled through her nose derisively. She had to admit those who were so paranoid were few and far between. Special Ops perhaps, since it was likely a learned concern for strange chakra-tinged aromas... but either way he clearly wasn't on duty and just wanted a peaceful meal with his nature-tinged companion. The both of them had lines through their aura for every major chakra, normally quite noteworthy but the latest generations had seemed to more readily pull that off than when she had grown up.

  4. She simply gave a unseeing nod towards them as they arrived properly, turning her sightless gaze back to her tea, downing it with practiced ease before taking chopsticks between her fingers and pulling clumps of sticky rice into her mouth. She was chatting with the old man behind the counter about various things, the weather and the aches and pains it brought, the current state of the war and how it was impacting business, the influx of mercenaries and bandits and how it meant significantly less people traveling. The usual stuff.

  6. She wasn't particularly trying to listen in to anyones conversations, though it was pretty difficult not to with her senses as they were. Sounded like the average teacher speaking to his pupil the bits and pieces she caught. A light chastisement about the dangers of nature chakra softened by the note that it was impressive he could do so, something about their travels which she tried to tune out.

  8. She didn't however stop her smoking, it might get close but without her purposely billowing it outward it mostly tended towards the ceiling and floors depending on the density of the chakra within as it settled at the extremes well before it reached the tables behind her, all heading towards the door and the free sky beyond rather than anywhere in particular. "You'll have to excuse an aging soldier their pipe I'm afraid, it soothes the pain of not having eyes you see." She chirped in challenge if they seemed annoyed even still. Certainly one couldn't deny the garrish wound on her face and eyes, and it had the sickly sweet smell of 'medicinal' drugs.

  10. She turned her attention to the more sociable strangers nearby, greeting them and inquiring of their business, drowning out the distractions with conversation as she ordered another cup of tea, clearly planning to be here a while.
