English Summer Story

This summer I went to my grandfather’s house out in Bridgewater. The day I got there I didn’t exactly know what to do and it was a very nice day outside, I had thought about just running down to the park and jogging a bit, maybe getting some exercise but after a while of thinking, I decided since I didn’t get to see my grandfather very often I should ask him if he wanted to go to the beach. So that’s what I did, and of course he said he wanted to so within the next 5 minutes me my grandfather and a few other people were all in a vehicle headed to the beach.
When we got to the beach there wasn’t very many people there, the tide was down and we decided we’d go for a swim; I also wanted to get a bit of a tan because I knew school would be starting in a few weeks and I hadn’t been outside much during the summer. One thing that was heavily annoying me though was a fly that wouldn’t stop following me; I was wondering why there was a fly at the beach when usually there wasn’t any. After about 2 hours of lying in the sun the fly finally made me so mad that I decided to try and kill it. I followed it until it went back into the woods behind the beach, I looked back and seen my family all playing in the water and decided I should go exploring. So I went in to the forest, I followed the fly well trying to kill it till it landed on something in the grass.
When I looked down into the grass the only thing I saw was the fly at first I instantly slapped my hand down on it and killed it. I moved some of the grass away and seen that it was sitting on a human arm, I didn’t know what to do and I kind of panicked, but after about 5 minutes I settled down again, I quickly tried to find the rest of the body as I was looking I found a light sabre.. Which may I add; I wasn’t quite sure why anyone would take a lightsabre to the beach. I left the light sabre there and continued to look around, after about five more minutes I found a 20 dollar bill in the grass and was amazed at what I had found. Even though I didn’t find the rest of the human body I still didn’t feel comfortable just being around were someone may have been murdered.
 So I thought I had done enough exploring and I decided to head back to the beach and tell my grandfather about the arm I had found, when I got back to the beach at first I couldn’t see anyone but then I found them all swimming around in the water I walked over to my grandfather and told him about the arm and the $20 bill then about how I killed the fly that had been bugging me for a while, he simply replied ‘Well grandson, I don’t believe that you actually found a real human arm maybe it was like a movie prop or something, but you killed the fly that had been bugging you and found $20 bucks. Sounds like you hit two birds with one stone’
