BACKGROUND: Born in New York City to a young Taiwanese couple, Riyan was born into a rich family. Not that she was extremely rich, but she did know that when she was older she might have to take over her family's company. However, young Riyan discovered her love for music and the arts when she was 6 and began to take several music classes, including VOCALISM, DANCE, PIANO, and GUITAR. Her grades began to waver from perfect A+ to around an A- because she focused so much of her time on music. However, her parents tried to support her, though they always felt a bit regretful that their 'eldest perfect daughter' was becoming like a music major. When she was 10, she got into K-POP, which was an escape for her, even if it separated her from many others. She learned to speak and read basic Korean, because of it, even if she still isn't extremely good at it now. And when she turned twelve, even if she knew she was very young, she asked her parents if she could do what she loved. Luckily, they decided to support her, and not hold her back. And because of that, she sent an audition tape to an entertainment company in Korea to try and become an idol.
PERSONALITY: Riyan is rather harsh. She's got a sharp tongue, as most Scorpios do, and can be extremely cold. However, if you open up to her in the right way, she becomes a rather friendly and insecure girl, in contrast to her usual confidence. She's also kinda awkward and quiet, and that may be due to her language barrier since she's worried that she'll say something wrong. She's also extremely mature for her age, and often treats others like a daughter, even if she's younger. She's easily angered, holds a major grudge, and is usually polite in a cold way. She is actually quite shy and cute once you get close to her, and can't approach others easily, but tries to maintain a conversation if she likes you. Which she usually doesn't so if it's like that, then you can honestly give up. She also stutters often, but you shouldn't take that as weakness. She finds it quite hard to interact with a crowd.
