ᵒ messy ᵒ as an artist, rosy is extremely messy. there's drawings and paint smudges all over her walls but yet she still manages to make it look like a masterpiece. her clothes are sometimes scattered around her clothes and she forgets to make her bed a lot.
ᵒ childish ᵒ a kid at heart, an innocent soul. can't wait for the future. doesn't understand a lot of the innuendos that her friends make; they end up having to explain them to her & she gets flustered. on saturday nights sometimes she'll make a blanket fort for her & her dog to sleep in and watch romantic comedies. her bed is covered in stuffed animals - her favourite is a brown teddy bear her LI gave her.

ᵒ rosy park was born in seoul to chanwoo & wendy park; her mother was american and had moved to korea to be with rosy's father. her father worked long hours and she rarely saw him: when she did, he was exhausted and all he wanted to do is rest. nevertheless, the family remained tight-knit. her mother always worried about the wellbeing of her father but he always assured his family that he was fine and that he was only working so hard to provide his family with the best. when rosy was young, wendy went to university in seoul and studied to become a computer programmer in order for her husband to work less hours and have more time with his family. rosy grew up teased constantly by her older twin brothers as they were only three years older than her, however she was the spoiled child being the only girl. her father especially adored her and protected her with his life. it was only when rosy was 16 when the family decided to move to new york (where her mother was brought up) as her father was offered better hours and a better pay there. despite her brothers and parents, rosy was devastated to leave seoul.

ᵒ rosy & jisung met in kindergarden in seoul when she had been the new kid. he had been sitting at a table on his own, yet she came in on her first day, sat next to him & asked to borrow his crayons to draw with him. she ended up drawing a very bad picture of them both - she was red and he was yellow. they stuck by each other throughout their childhood, both growing feelings for the other but too scared and shy to tell the other, even though all of their other friends already knew just by looking at them. when they were 16 (before rosy's family moved), rosy was rejected from an art school in busan and was left devastated, so much that at 2am she walked to jisung's house in the cold rain just to talk to him. when she knocked on his window and he opened it - seeing her cold, wet, crying and upset - he immediately brought her in and comforted her, making her feel better and assuring her that this wasn't the end of her. it was that moment they began dating and everything was heaven until 7 months had passed and rosy had to break the news that she was moving to america. before she left they both promised each other that her moving wouldn't be the end of them - and they kept their promise.
