  1. >Lyra is brushing her hair in her mirror, getting ready for school. Her and Lemy are staying with her aunt Lucy for the week. Lucy steps out of the shadows in the Lyra’s mirror.
  2. >”What the-!” Lyra says as she spins around.
  3. >”Niece, we need to speak about last night.” Lucy begins as she crosses her arms across her large chest.
  4. >”How did you do that!?” Lyra says, running over to the area from which Lucy appeared.
  5. >”Niece, this my home. My mana is especially powerful here.” Lucy says as she turns to face her niece.
  6. >”Don’t give me that. How did you get in here?” Lyra scowls, searching the wall for a panel.
  7. >”That’s not important, niece. What is important is what you said to my daughter last night.” Lucy says as steps forward and places a hand on her niece’s shoulder. “You shamed her for her clothing and her proximity to Lemy. I hope you would apologize to her.”
  8. >”Why should I apologize? She was wearing that awful short skirt, getting that close to Lemy; it’s a corrupting influence. She should be ashamed.” Lyra says as she turns and shirks Lucy’s hand.
  9. >”There is no need to for my daughter to feel shame nor for you to take that upon yourself. Lupa is a blossoming young woman and she should feel attractive and beautiful. This is the time in her life that she should be free to experiment with her appearance.” Lucy takes another step, she is now inches from Lyra. “If someone were to squander my daugther’s blossoming, I would be beside myself.”
  10. >”If you want your daughter to look and act like a trollop, fine. But, I would ask that you keep her very far from my brother!” Lyra snaps, before catching herself. “Excuse me for my outburst.”
  11. >”It’s alright, niece. You’re a young woman, I feel you should be able to express yourself.” Lucy reaches out with a hand and brushes Lyra’s cheek. “Responsibility was foisted you. You are starved for attention, aren’t you?”
  12. >Lyra absent-mindedly leans into the touch, before her eyes shoot open, and she takes a step back.
  13. >Only for her to find the wall behind her.
  14. >”Lyra, I won’t do anything you don’t want. But, I think you are starved for attention.” Lucy says as she backs away and sits on Lyra’s bed. “Join me, please.”
  15. >”Wh-wha-what are you suggesting? This is sinful, if not criminal!” Lyra stammers out, still pressing tightly to the wall.
  16. >”You will not know if you do not sit with me, niece.” Lucy says as she pats the area next to her.
  17. >Lyra slowly relaxes and curiousity takes hold as she walks over hesitantly.
  18. >She eyes Lucy suspiciously.
  19. >Lucy leans forward and Lyra sits bolt straight.
  20. >”Please, Lyra, I’m not going to hurt you... unless you would prefer that. Now, come here.” Lucy says as she wraps one arm around her and presses Lyra’s head to her bosom with the other hand.
  21. >Lyra again sits rigidly, but, after a moment, she relaxes; she hears her aunt’s heart beat, smells the scent of flowers, and feels Lucy’s hand run through her hair.
  22. >”You’re a very good girl, Lyra. A good sister.” Lucy says as Lyra silently wraps her arms around her aunt’s waist. “Isn’t this nice?”
  23. >Lyra relaxes her shoulders.
  24. >”That’s a good girl.” Lucy says.
  25. >Lyra nods softly.
  26. >”Will you apologize to Lupa?” Lucy says.
  27. >Lyra nods again.
  28. >”That’s good, we should- mhm!” Lucy whines as Lyra presses her lips to hers.
  29. >Lucy pushes her niece away, just a bit.
  30. >”I-I’m sorry!” Lyra says as she covers her mouth.
  31. >”Lyra, it’s alright. You were overwhelmed. It shows that I was right to do this for you.” Lucy says as brings Lyra into another hug. “But that’s all we have time for. For now, you have school and I need to get to work.”
  32. >”Uh- I understand.” Lyra says. “I’ll apologize. But, keep Lupa away from Lemy.”
  33. >”We can broach that subject later.” Lucy says as she stands and disappears into the shadows.
