BACKGROUND |

WENDY grew up in a small town. She knew YEONWOO ever since they were 5 years old.

From a young age, she always followed her mother to orphanages. At the age of 12, she starts volunteering there along with YEONWOO who doesn't ever leave her side.

Understanding how the orphans didn't have anyone to care for them, she took up that role. She became independent and grew up too quickly.

Being too focused on others, she forgot to enjoy her childhood. Despite that, YEONWOO served as her reminder that it was too early to grow up.

HIS BACKGROUND |

He had quite the childhood. With his adorable appearance, he could've easily made many friends. Sadly, his mother scared every person who dared to come near him. He had no friends growing up thanks to her.

In his tween years, he realized no one wanted to come near him for they feared his mother. Thus, he came up with the mindset "if you're not wanted, BE wanted."

He turned cold and was forced to do his mother's dirty work which he didn't enjoy one bit. Despite that, he grew up wealthy and lonely, maintaining a 'forced' happy relationship with his mother.

HIS PERSONALITY |

He's loud and unsympathetic and will never go out of his way for someone else. He's also demanding and always has to get his way or he'll tell his mom who plays a big role in the school funds.

He enjoys being the centre of attention, be it good or bad. He can be extremely bold or simply quiet. Even lacks in social skills.

Despite all that, he's rather immature and is childish at heart.
In all honesty, he's just very lonely and wants someone to be by his side.



HOW YOU MEET |

At the field;
They meet when WENDY goes there to converse with BAE YEONWOO who is trying out for the school team. She offers him a bottle of water because he looked tired and he simply walks away.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS |

HIS: He didn't like her. She seemed so perfect that he despised it. Envious of her life and wished for his to be like that.

HER: She thought he was very rude. He seemed arrogant and cold. However, she was curious about him as he can be loud one moment and a complete wallflower the next.

HOW THEY ACT AROUND EACH OTHER |

They ignore each other. Regardless the occasional glances they take at each other, they don't talk much. However, WENDY still tries to be nice because she doesn't want to spoil her image. JEONGIN on the other hand, doesn't care about anything, including her. They act like strangers and won't communicate unless forced. But there is a sense of curiosity between them.

They start to acknowledge each other's presence. In a bad and good way. They start liking each other but refuse to tell anyone. He starts to argue with her for no apparent reason which causes her to despise his existence. Unlike before, she hates his guts and even the teachers know. In all honesty, he wants to befriend her but doesn't know how. She on the other hand, feels guilty but lets her pride get the best of her for once.

They make up and start becoming friends. She learns to understand him and gives him a second chance. He's more comfortable around her and very clingy too. She helps him overcome his dark side and helps him make friends. They share lots of laughs and inside jokes. Tend to be teased as a couple but both deny and say they are too young to actually get together.

Her parents are fine with the idea. Especially her father as he was so worried in having Captain Hook's son as his son in law. Her mother approves but is still slightly doubtful. His parents couldn't care less. His mother encouraged him to use her, not believingthe fact that her youngest son was in love. Slowly, she starts liking WENDY and allows their relationship.

BESIDES THAT THEY ARE OPPOSITES, WHY DO THEY HATE EACH OTHER AT FIRST? |

Yes. Another reason is her bad first impression of him which caused her to somewhat believe the rumours about the villain kids. For him, it was his jealousy that stopped him from befriending her.

Thanks to the NEVERLAND MERMAIDS, WENDY found herself in an awkward situation. During a climbing activity, (say, rock climbing or something) the girl slipped and found herself falling from mid air. Thankfully, Changbin was there to break her fall. And by that meaning she literally landed on him. He takes thus as an opportunity to fluster her but was cut off thanks to YEONWOO.
