  1. **GENERAL CULTURE/SOCIETY SHIT**
  2. *Krakisch*
  3. In Krakischian culture, the cycle of life and death is very important; both when a baby is born, and when a person dies, are celebrated as great occasions by nearly all the people in the country. Death, in particular, is seen as especially important; almost all Krakischians are cremated, and their ashes placed in a jar that is then transported to a government-protected vault referred to as the "Home of Ashes". It is believed that when the Krakisch Empire is going to be destroyed-either by the end of the world, or from a nation invading the capital-the ashes inside the vault will change into elemental warriors of ash, controlled by the original soul of the ash's body.
  4. They also value strength heavily, seeing any sign of any kind of weakness (physical, mental, or emotional) as being extremely disgraceful, with most who are particularly weak being ostracized by their peers. Those who are exceptionally powerful in one or two areas can usually manage to compensate for weakness in other areas, enough to be accepted into society's norms, but it takes a large amount of power.
  5. *Malenbog*
  6. The cold arctic winter is what fuels Malenbog's culture and it's peoples needs. They have the best smiths in the land, ones who have knowledge of how to infuse heat and flames into the armor of their people, which keeps them warm and protected from their home's freezing temperatures, but also has magical protection from overheating. Due to this, most of the Malenbogians wear their armor constantly, only rarely taking it off for special occasions, such as weddings or funerals.
  7. They highly value practical skills, such as being able to cook, smith, clean, and hunt, but they find the arts to be fairly meaningless, seeing them as a waste of time, effort, and skill. A few small groups may practice the arts, but most must do so in secret, to avoid being shamed for not using their time on practicality.
  8. *Eilon*
  9. Eilonians see artistic merit in all things; whether it be the grace of a duelist's blade clashing against another, the passion expressed by an actor in a play, or from the colors placed on a canvas by a painter. As a nation, they are known for placing high value on the ability to show individuality and creativity, and one can see differences in the people even at a distance; very rarely will two people wear the same outfit, share the same hairstyle, or any other similarity wherever possible.
  10. *Jajimas*
  11. To those who live in either of the Jajimas, everything has some sort of special religious significance; from the food that one eats, to the clothing one wears, and to the weapons that one uses. The two halves are split based on their respective pantheons; the northern half believes in a single deity (one they call Vail) that resides over all, and the southern half believes in a large pantheon with a multitude of deities residing over different aspects of life.
  12. They typically hold a high value on tradition, with them believing that what was done in the past, and works, is the superior way of doing things. This can, however, make them very predictable to their enemies, making them fairly easy to conquer.
  13. *Gorudo*
  14. The Gorudo nation are typically seen as warmongerers to the outside world, as they believe that melee combat and warfare are the truest pleasures one can experience, although they prefer nonlethal fights compared to fatal ones. To a Gorudin, a life full of duels and hand-to-hand combat is a fulfilling one, and is one that one should strive to achieve. However, they also see ranged weapons as being cowardly, with the only exception to them being bows. Crossbows, guns, darts, and even javelins, to them, are signs that one believes they cannot handle melee combat, and those who use them are shunned by their peers.
  15. **RACES IN WHAT COUNTRIES**
  16. *Krakisch*
  17. Krakisch consists primarily of humans, dragonborn (usually chromatic), orcs, minotaurs, half-orcs, and hobgoblins. Gnomes and dwarves also make up a decent chunk of the population, and a few tieflings and yuan-ti can be found among their ranks, as well.
  18. *Malenbog*
  19. Most of the people in Malenbog consist of humans, tabaxi, kenku, dwarves, and goliaths. Reptilian races are extremely rare in the area, due to the freezing temperature, however races with other ways to stay warm (such as fire genasi's magic) can also be found in the area.
  20. *Eilon*
  21. The population of Eilon is filled to the brim with humans, elves, half-elves, gnomes, and aarakocra. A few kenku and tieflings are also known to be seen in the area, although kenku are not commonly welcome due to them mimicking others.
  22. *Jajima*
  23. Jajima's population, in both halves, is full of humans, genasi, goblinoids, lizardfolk, tieflings, and githzerai. Some tabaxi are occasionally seen traveling in nomadic groups, as well as some lone aarakocra acting as carrion eaters, in the countries.
  24. *Gorudo*
  25. Gorudo is full of humans, dragonborn (commonly metallic), hobgoblins, half-orcs, goliaths, dwarves, elves, and githyanki. Some dragonborn families have also been known to adopt kobolds among their ranks, either out of a sense of kinship or out of a desire for more relatives.
  26. **LEADERS**
  27. *Krakisch*
  28. __Fuhrer Queen Kireth__ is the currently elected leader of the Kraksichian empire, and she is a female human known for her high intelligence, tactical prowess, and imposing 7 foot height. While she rarely fights on the front lines, she is known for being a swift and powerful master of the blade. Additionally, she seems to hate Eilon with a burning passion, but refuses to delve into why.
  29. *Malenbog*
  30. __Lord Setal Kamal__, also known as the *Colossus King*, is a very large male half-ogre who rules over Malenbog with surprising intellect for his race. He tends to prefer aggressive attacks and strategies compared to defensive ones, making him a difficult opponent both in a duel and in warfare.
  31. *Eilon*
  32. __Jean Main-Gaul__ is the leader of Eilon, and he is an aarakocra with rainbow colored feathers, known for helping the spread of artistry and creativity in the kingdom. He prefers to avoid conflict whenever possible, instead focusing on trading with the other major nations. Due to this, Eilon has the smallest army in Myreldi, however they are usually able to survive by relying on their alliance with Gorudo to save them. He's utterly terrified of Queen Kireth, and attempts to avoid attending meetings where he would have to perssonally see her.
  33. *N. Jajima*
  34. __Sultan Sahii Kilam__ leads the northern half of Jajima, known for his cutthroat tactics and underhanded combat maneuvers winning him many battles, making him a very frightening male lizardfolk to face. He does not believe peace is possible between the two halves, and wishes to slaughter all of the southern Jajimians.
  35. *S. Jajima*
  36. __Pharaoh Awnizz Pyra__ rules over the southern half of Jajima, and is a female githzerai who believes almost fanatically in her religion. She seems to have an uncanny knack for predicting the movements of her enemies, both for armies and simple combatants, and surprising them by either using their own tactic against them, or readying a powerful counterattack. She believes peace of the Jajimas is possible, but for it to be possible, she says Sahii Kilam must die.
  37. *Gorudo*
  38. Believing himself to be elected by the gods themselves, __God-Emperor Dorajo Kasai__ is a male golden dragonborn known for his frightening visage when in his full suit of armor and his skill with melee combat. Unlike most leaders, which send their troops to fight while they strategize and stay back, Dorajo Kasai runs to the front lines, demoralizing and decimating his enemies. Some see him as being reckless and foolish for acting like this, and others see him as being inspiring and brave.
  39. **MAJOR STARTING LOCATIONS**
  40.
  41. **COUNTRY RELATIONS**
  42. *Krakisch*
  43. The Krakischian empire holds no true allies, seeking to conquer the entire world. They've forced Malenbog to cooperate with them, or face destruction, and have promised that from their strong-armed alliance they will grant Malenbog a piece of the world, once the empire takes it over. Whether this is true or not is unknown to all but the highest Krakisch officials.
  44. *Malenbog*
  45. Malenbog has remained a fairly isolated country until recently, when the Krakisch forced them into the war as their allies. They have a desire to become allies with Gorudo, but due to the nations being on opposite sides of the war, it is seemingly impossible for them to be.
  46. *Eilon*
  47. Eilon has a very close relationship with the nation of Gorudo, the two countries being both trading partners and a military alliance for centuries. It is not uncommon for the leaders of the two nations to discuss matters of their nations together, as doing so usually leads to benefits for both countries. Eilon also sympathizes with the southern half of Jajima, and they plan on sending them military assistance with their religious war once the Krakisch are defeated.
  48. *N. Jajima*
  49. The northern half of Jajima has a begrudging respect for the power possessed by Krakisch, however they understand the empire will crush them if they do not try to fight them. They hate the southern half of Jajima, due to their religious divide, and they plan on allying with Malenbog once the Krakisch are defeated, to destroy their long-standing enemies.
  50. *S. Jajima*
  51. South Jajima holds high respect for the artistic nature of Eilon, and the honorable and traditional militaristic values of Gorudo, and wishes to enter an alliance with them once the war is over. They currently secretly trade with both of the nations, but the nation believes if the northern half learned of this alliance, they would join the Krakisch, as allies.
  52. *Gorudo*
  53. Gorudo has a very close alliance with Eilon, and has had so for centuries. They are seemingly uninterested in making any more allies than the Eilonians, but it is believed prior to the war they were considering an alliance with Krakisch.
