Lumen Sonnet 2

A With spear in ribs I lay upon my side
B As plunderers come into my father's fort
B I think of my fault in the molesting of his court
A While I slink off to hide

A The wound comes to split open wide
B While my father must resort
B To fight the invaders, the miscreant sort
A And make himself their grave guide

C When the night was ended, I left soon
D To leave that life behind
E And now find my own
C But with advent of the green skull moon
D I now find
E I must return home.
