- Lone Cyrus Route Notes (Solo)
- Last Updated: Aug. 16, 2022
- Contact: AnimeGamer#1297 on Discord if you'd like to reach me
- Status: Complete with sample run. Improvements section at end of this route guide, denoting potential timesaves, but this route is complete and should match the sample run video linked just below.
- Sample Run Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ5oJqQkdik&t=1s (1h44m59s) (PC)
- This is a solo speedrun route for Cyrus, aiming to defeat Lucia as quickly as possible, within reason (so no EXP x100 strats, sorry : P). There's a good deal of RNG in the Yvon fight, but aside from that, the route should be mostly stable without too much grinding (we aim for level 21 going into Lucia with about 1520 JP used over the run).
- The general overview of the route is to get Evasive Maneuvers, do Noblecourt area for quick resources, then Grandport to prepare for a quest before Marsalim for the quest and armor, Dancer and Sunshade, then Quarrycrest to start C2 and going to Derelict after, followed by Riverford for the last equipment pieces, followed by Apothecary job for extra HP. Then a short grind before C2 and C3 in sequence, which should net us level 21 (scrutinize %'s rise every 11, 21, 31, etc levels, albeit we don't scrutinize much) for some last resources (in Hollow Throne near Noblecourt and also in Captain's Bane/Goldshore) before making the trek from Quarrycrest to Duskbarrow. Then a backup Money/Soulstones L section if needed before Lucia. The route also makes some assumptions about EI (Endless Items) that you can read in the section leading up to the Lucia fight.
- Notation:
- TP = Teleport
- C = Chapter
- x2,x3,x4 = boost with 1 BP, 2 BP, or the max 3 BP respectively. x1 is not used but would be 0 BP and a normal move.
- S+Q = Save and Quit and reenter the game to reset/reload the encounter rate
- Reload/Reset = usually exit and reenter a screen to reset the encounter rate
- Buffer Glitch = use the Buffer Glitch to gain access to an item or area - see https://youtu.be/0XlAM3mTu0Q [NS/PC only, not XB]
- Settings/Technical Things (recommended, but you can play how you want):
- - Japanese Audio
- - Message Speed Quick
- - Revert to Original (Battle Cursor Position)
- - Preload Before a Run (Start a new game with any character and exit to the menu, since the first load is slowest)
- - Note that loading games directly from console is usually faster than loading from an SD/memory card
- - Always Hold B to Skip Cutscenes, unless the textbox/scene is so short that it's faster to mash (Ex: usually 1-2 textbox scenes)
- - Prepare Buffer glitch beforehand if you need setup/practice (see https://youtu.be/0XlAM3mTu0Q if you need explanation/instructions).

- TP Stonegard
- Tag Wellspring
- Go down a map to get Fire L
- TP Wellspring
- Go to Marsalim Catacombs, getting Thunder L just outside it, save inside Catacombs
- [The pom L here is extremely dangerous, if you wish, you may opt to tag Marsalim first and then come back here, so you can loot freely and then TP out when you're very deep in. This costs a bit of time but is a LOT safer.]

- Buffer glitch to get Enchanted Rod + Force Shield
- TP Riverford and reenter Refuge Ruins
- Buffer glitch to get Pom M + Pom L
- TP Sunshade
- Job Merchant (learn Hired Help if possible, also Sidestep + Endless Items if possible)
- Equip + Optimize + Crystal Helm for the grind coming up
- Get Apothecary Shrine
- TP Stonegard
- Go to Tomb of Kings, remove Evasive Manuevers before entering (LB/HH Mercs -> LB x3 defeats most enemies when higher level)
- Goal is looting + Level 18 with 232 exp, which brings up to level 20 after any C2 encounter and Gideon. More grinding doesn't hurt but helps a lot less and isn't needed.
- Total desired loot: Bottle of Blinding Dust + Fire L + 9400 + Curious Antique + NPC Scrut
- Save upon entry. (And save periodically throughout just in case, until you get Hale and Hearty and/or at level 15+.)
- At the beginning, we have 2 Thunder L + 3 M Stones (Wind, Light, Light) to use if necessary. Grab Hired Help asap, then grab Sidestep soon after for Endless Items. Once these 5 stones are used up, switch to Lightning Blast/Hired Help to defeat them and small plum as needed. If you actually have 30 jp spare, it may actually be better to go to Dancer and learn Night Ode and use Lightning blast for wind enemies and Night Ode for Light enemies, but I haven't tested/run this change yet.
- If you do not have Hired Help/Night Ode and are low level (level 6 ish), you can use Thunder L or an M Stone on the first encounter to get some buffer levels going (Thunder L defeats anything except Light Remnant, while 4 shield Thiefs fall to Light M).
- Enemies (use Wind M first unless stated otherwise):
- Light/Wind Seninels: HH Mercs -> M Stone (for Wind, try to do LB -> LB x3 to defeat and save M Stone for Light enemies)
- Guardians: HH Mercs x2 -> M Stone
- Wind Remnant: Thunder L
- Light Remnant: Thunder L + M Stone
- Thief I (3 shields): Defend -> HH Mercs x3 -> M Stone (after any 1 encounter, you'll have enough levels to just LB -> LB x3 to defeat)
- Thief II (4 shields): Light M
- Get Bottle of Blinding Dust + Fire L first
- Save again after 2 battles in total.
- If you get 630 JP at any point now, Job Apothecary + 3 skills + Hale and Hearty on + Job Merchant
- Get 9400 + Save near top.
- Scrutinize NPC in Tomb of Kings
- Get Curious Antique
- Repeat these until EI runs out on the 5 stones (you'll realize because you will have no more Thunder L or any M Stones in your inventory), then Job Merchant + Hired Help + Sidestep
- Use Scholar + Hired Help to defeat the rest:
- Lightning Blast -> Lightning Blast x3 defeats Thiefs I or IIs, even at level 6
- If Light Sentinels/Guardians and not higher level yet, 2 Light M's defeat them
- If higher level, break with HH Mercs -> Lightning Blast x3 for only Sentinels (but Defend for extra BP beforehand for Light ones)
- If 2 Light Sentinels and 2 Light Guardians and no more M stones -> HH Mercs -> Defend -> HH Mercs -> Lightning Blast x4 at level 10+
- If Cait, LB x2 to hopefully KO and follow up LB as needed. Grape M if needed too.
- Remnants have 3200-3300 HP ish but have 1 shield and can Master Spear/spear tap them if needed to break or HH Mercs too.
- In fact, HH Mercs breaks everything and Lightning Blast works well on Wind enemies, heal if needed
- Grind at entrance until Level 18 with 232 exp, exit
- Job Merchant + Hired Help and Sidestep
- Job Apothecary + learn 3 skills
- Job Dancer + learn 3 skills (if you somehow don't have enough, do this menu after Gideon but average is to have about 1400 JP now)
- Job Merchant again
- Put on Evasive Maneuvers + Endless Items + Hale and Hearty
- Equip + Optimize (if you somehow switched weapons or unequipped during one of those, otherwise, ignore this)
- Exit and go toward Everhold tunnels
- Get Light L in next map + enter Everhold Tunnels
- Get Pom L, leave
- Get Pom M, go into Shrine of the Runeblade
- Save and Quit on right side of Save Point and get 50k + Rev Jam
- TP Quarrycrest, enter Sewers
- Get Pom L - left up behind the hidden path of the back wall, then the room you can enter before the bridge
- Before boss, force encounter, use Light L (can skip if at level 18 with equal to or great than 370 exp)
- Put on Enchanted Circlet
- Heal HP + Save
- Gideon
- (This should be extremely safe, but there's a chance both adds hit you plus high ranges on all his attacks.)
- (If you forgot Circlet, you will likely need to heal though.)
- T1: HHM
- T2: Vets x3
- T3: Pom M
- T4: HH Mercs x4 (do NOT vets here lol)
- T5: HH Mercs
- T6: Defend
- T7: HH Mercs
- T8: HH Vets x4
- SELL AT ITEM SHOP - sell everything at the top until you hit the staff weapons (should put you near 165k)
- Finish C2, TP Stonegard and do C3
- Scrutinize book guy, go to house, scrutinize left man in house, lady, and person in next map.
- Options 3, 3
- Go to Stonegard heights
- Go right to quest guy and do quest, mash through the unskippable cutscene
- Eye for an Eye on now (If you haven't learned Eye for an Eye, learn it now, then Merchant Job again)
- Equip + Optimize + Royal Crest (Tempest Amulet should be on already) + CRYSTAL HELM over Enchanted Circlet
- Enter dungeon, do cutscenes, "Wait" in bottom right corner, go downstairs
- Get Light Soulstone (L) Chest on left of Yvon's Cellar
- Get 12k to the right of that by going down the hidden path
- Save and Quit on right side of Save Point before moving through dungeon
- Heal HP + SP
- Save before Yvon (make sure you have Enchanted Rod, Crystal Helm, Force Shield, High House Armor, Royal Crest, and Tempest on)
- Yvon:
- 63,522 HP
- Dagger, Staff, Light weaknesses initially, then +Fire after first break, then +Fire and +Ice after second break and for the remainder.
- General gist of the fight is rush to KO adds asap and then set up 1-2 Sidesteps, and you've basically won.
- We have 150k worth of Vets for this fight, 60k just for adds.
- Once you defeat adds and get at least 2 Sidesteps up, the battle is free, and we set up and do the remaining 90k to finish him. It involves throwing Bottle blind and using HH Dancers at x3 or x4 to break and/or hope for blind to buy turns to get BP up. Use 1 Rev Jam if necessary as there's a backup later. Use as many Pom M/S/Refreshing Jam/Plum M/Grape M as you like after the adds go down, as pom M are essentially useless versus Lucia
- (It takes 5-6 extra Firestorms on average in addition to the 150k of Vets btw.)
- Notes on Yvon fight: This fight has a lot of RNG, is fairly long, and is best played by ear, adjusting to the enemy actions and eye for an eye procs. The goals of the fight are:
- - blind Yvon, break Yvon (T1 is always Bottle of Blinding Dust on Yvon, while T2 is usually Dancers or Vets depending on the situation)
- - Vets x1 Vets x4 to defeat adds without breaking them (can sometimes sub a Thunder L if poisoned enough)
- - after that, set up 1 Sidestep then extra Sidesteps as Yvon only does one physical action every turn at most
- - do three sets of broken Vets x4 to finish Yvon (to break, do 7 Firestorms/staff to be safe, depending on Dancers damage and whether poison proc'd; you'll need even more if your Vets to defeat the adds were done after he triggered Physical Augmentation). Do NOT do any of the 3 broken sets of Vets if he has Physical Augmentation up, as it reduces Vets damage
- - stall/survive with Grape M and Sidesteps, depending on if you're silenced or not (if turn order permits, Herb of Clamor to heal it). Grape M's early on are especially useful for stalling when you're near 500 HP or less or so
- - use Firestorm/Staff (Staff is faster animation and doesn't require SP but is 1 hit only unless boosted), Refreshing Jam, Plum M, Sidesteps, Staff as necessary after the adds are gone and you've got a handful of Sidesteps set up so that you can break Yvon and do Vets damage
- - Collect for 16k toward the end, before the final burst (do it at > 70% or >75% Collect until you get it as each Vets adds ~26% Collect, and he loses/battle ends at 105% Collect value; you may optionally boost Collect)
- - Eye for an Eye helps break shields, as does Firestorm after he returns from break, but do not break him prematurely if you will not have 3 BP to do a Vets x4 OR if he has the Physical Augmentation mentioned above. Switch to Spear if his shields run low but you don't want to prematurely break (the Master's Spear does about 100 per hit and helps make up some Firestorm damage too). You can also use any Pom M or Plum M or Refreshing Jam as needed.
- - WARNING: even if you're tabbed to Spear, if you do an elemental spell, you automatically equip your staff. Keep this in mind to manage his shields. Ex if he has 3 shields and you hover over Spear, then you did Firestorm to bring him to 1 shield, then he attacked into your Sidestep and triggered Eye for an Eye, your retaliation will actually be Staff, which would break him because Firestorm used the Staff's elemental attack and thus switched to it at the end of your action. But if you hover over Spear, did a Sidestep/Grape M, then he attacked you and trigger Eye for an Eye, it would be a Spear retaliation and not break him
- EDIT: These aren't tested extensively but other general notes/avenues for fighting him: using Sidestep x4 if you have pushed the adds into critical health or are situated well (they seem more likely to do tornado/wind, so you gain Sidestep advantage against the group usually) then can Vets x1 Vets x4 or some combination to KO adds.
- Depending on misses or Eye for an Eye procs, you should try to break Yvon with Dancers (Dancers x3 and x4 are usually not needed to break Yvon but have higher proc rates for poison/blind, so you may want to use Dancers x3 even if its not needed, and the actual script assumes this) and follow up with the Vets x1 stalling with Sidestep/Grape M to get BP and then the Vets x4 mentioned above to defeat adds quickly. Notably, Yvon loses many turns from the break and return from break. Alternatively, you can also not break Yvon until defeating the adds first, but I found this harder to do. In my tests, my attempts allowed me to win about 50% of the fights I tried in this, but there was never a single script or fight.
- Example Yvon Starting Scripts (heavily adapt/adjust as needed based on the guidelines above):
- Yvon (recommended start):
- T1: Bottle of Blinding Dust on Yvon (reset if it fails)
- T2: Dancers x3
- After this, it depends on how much damage you have and who is blinded or not. Generally, you would follow up with Vets x1 immediately or Grape M/Rev Jam to stall out extra BP vs the adds. Example continuation of the beginning:
- T3: Vets x1
- T4: Grape m
- T5: Sidestep
- T6: Vets x4
- T7: Sidestep (He did Physical Augmentation)
- T8: Sidestep
- Yvon (this is an example start of script that worked when E4aE proc'd twice early on):
- T1: Bottle of Blinding Dust on Yvon (reset if it fails)
- T2: Dancers x1 (Grape M and delay if needed)
- T3: Vets x4 (can potentially KO adds if poison I believe but usually need another Vets x1)
- T4: HH Vets x1
- T5: Sidestep/Grape M
- T6: Sidestep x3
- Reminder: Once you defeat adds and get at least 2 Sidesteps up, the battle is free, and we set up and do the remaining 90k to finish him, Collect-ing once before the end.
- Yvon (full example script)
- T1: Bottle of Blinding Dust on Yvon (reset if it fails)
- T2: Dancers x3
- T3: Vets x1 (or Rev Jam and do Vets x4 into Vets x1 or some other combination of Vets or Dancers to stall with more blind - note you get higher blind chance at max dancers boost with each extra BP spent if you do the latter approach)
- T4: grape m
- T5: grape m
- T6: grape m
- T7: staff x3 Yvon
- T8: herb of clamor
- T9: vets x4
- T10: Sidestep x2 (he did physical augmentat)
- T11-13: Sidestep
- T14: Sidestep x4
- T15-16: Sidestep
- T17: Fireball (brought him to 2 shields)
- T18: Defend
- T19: Sidestep x4
- T20: Sidestep, also tabbed to spear (he had 1 shield but had phys aug up)
- T21: Staff (phys aug expires after this)
- T22: Vets x4
- T23: Plum M
- T24: Firestorm
- T25: Firestorm
- T26: Staff x4
- T27: Fireball (brought down to 2 shields)
- T28: Sidestep (stalling for BP)
- T29: Staff (breaks)
- T30: Vets x4
- T31: Collect (84%)
- T32: Firestorm
- T33: Sidestep
- T34: Plum M
- T35: Sidestep x4
- T36-38: Firestorm
- T40: Vets x4
- This finished with 3 spare Sidesteps on, but this can easily all change depending on Eye for an Eye procs.
- Other notes: You can freely use the 150k alloted for Yvon as well as all Pom M's, Refreshing Jams, and Plum M's as needed. We also could theoretically unequip the Enchanted Rod, but this actually covers ranges as we do 5k, 8k, 16k, 16k, 16k for 61k guaranteed based on the the vets used, assuming the first two vet sets used on adds arent used durnig Yvon's break (which is NOT guaranteed). The extra 100s of damage from the Fire spells add up to cover the remaining 3k or so for his full 63,522 HP just in case.
- Finish C3 by leaving Stonegard (be wary as the end trigger may not activate upon leaving the city)
- TP Noblecourt
- Go to Hollow Throne and get Pom L + Rev Jam
- TP Goldshore and go to Captain's Bane, Scrutinize A Safe Route from the Knowledgeable Traveler on the way
- Get Pom L Treasure: From the first curve leading left, go downleft, along the hidden path down left in the corner.
- TP Goldshore, scrutinize for Thunder L hidden item
- Get Thunder L + go to Manor District
- Get 4.5k
- Talk to Merchantry Master to complete A Safe Route quest (11k + Light Nut + Slippery Nut)
- TP Quarrycrest, go to Duskbarrow, Save and Quiting in map before and getting Copper-Filled Pouch too
- Start C4, leave
- Save and Quit
- Go to Archmagus Shrine
- Get Pom L + Save and Quit on right side
- Get 20k + Rev Jam
- TP Duskbarrow, get Curious Antique in top left
- Menu:
- - Unequip all
- - Equip Royal Crest + Enchanted Circlet
- - Grape Heal HP (SP doesn't matter as we Rev Jam on T1 vs Lucia and only need HP to tank a hit)
- Sell at shop for 160k+. Sell equips, accessories, Refreshing Jams. DON'T SELL REV JAM/POM L/L STONES.
- Backup stones/money/etc are below if you somehow don't have 13 L Stones or 160k going into the Ruins of Eld dungeon (can do less L stones and hope for EI too). Keep in mind the C4 dungeon has optionally 2 L stones, 1 Pom L, and 20k. The 20k is routed in but the 2 L Stones are not always since they're semi risky, but they're the fastest on the way stones.
- (L Stone note: We want to enter Lucia with 13 L Stones and expect/need 2 EI procs out of those 13, else we cannot beat Lucia. If you don't want to rely on EI, you can go and get 15 Stone L based on the backups below and not need to be reliant but 2 EI is very reasonable out of 13 chances.)
- (Money note: We also want to enter Lucia with 180k, thus having 160k before the dungeon and looting the 20k chest in Ruins of Eld is enough. See backup money below if needed though.)
- (Lastly, we want to enter Lucia with 17 BP items between Rev Jam/Pom L and expect/need 4 EI procs out of those 17 BP items to defeat Lucia. The C4 dungeon actually has 1 Pom L, thus we only need 16 in the town. If you don't want to rely on those odds (4 EI procs out of 17+ chances), you can opt to get more BP items, but there are not many left in the game, so it's usually better to just hope 4 of the 17 proc, which is fairly likely.)
- Money backups:
- - 20k in the C4 dungeon, Ruins of Eld (this is routed in)
- - Noblecourt scrutinize Merchant in the center ish for Curious Antique that sells for 9k ish
- - outside Riverford is Silver Pouch for 8k
- - Sunshade scrutinize right guard in front of house for Silver-Filled Pouch that sells for 8k ish
- Stone L backups:
- - there are 2 L Stones in Ruins of Eld (1 in the first map to the bottom right steps of the 20k chest, and the other is in the next map an Ice L just a bit before Lucia)
- - Noblecourt scrutinize entrance person for L Stone
- - L Stone in Moldering Ruins outside Duskbarrow
- - L Stone in Wellspring, exit, then down a map and to the left side rock chest
- Pom L/Rev Jam:
- - 1 Pom L in Ruins of Eld (this is routed in)
- - Riverford for Rev Jam in Shrine of the Warbringer in the cliff near the altar
- - Pom L in Moldering Ruins outside Duskbarrow (consider S+Q'ing because this is pretty dangerous); you go in, ignore the NPC's stairs but go up the next rightward stairs, then go more right, and you'll see stairs going upward but ignore it and go rightward, slightly down but rightward, and you'll see 3 arches before a torch near stairs that go up, under 3rd arch, go down and left to get Pom L
- Reminder Note: In the upcoming dungeon, we will get 2 L Stones, 20k, and 1 Pom L.
- Before entering, your inventory should already have at least 16 Rev Jam/Pom L total, 11+ L Stones, and 160k if you were following the route exactly up to this point. If you want to rely on EI less, you can opt for more Stones/Rev Jams/Pom L's but is not needed.
- After the dungeon looting (20k, Pom L, possibly 2 L Stones), our total will be 17+ Rev Jam/Pom L, 13 L Stones, and 180k going into Lucia.
- ###################
- Lucia/Endless Items math section start - ignore if you are don't care why we need the quantities we get
- ###################
- At 69% Collect value and 1 shield with us at 5 BP, we spend 60k to do 1700 + 4000x3 and also 4600x3 followed up by a 3509 L Stone
- The total damage from that is 31009
- Lucia has 84040 HP, so we have to do 84040 - 31009 = 53031 damage prior to that point.
- We have 120k excess, so that will be used to do 3850 with Vets x1 for four total times in terms of Vets damage, totaling 3850 x 4 = 15,400
- From the 53031 damage we need to do, we just need to do 53031 - 15400 = 37631 damage
- 37631 divided by 2700 = 13.9 L Stones total, which means throwing 14 L Stones at Lucia.
- Keep in mind we enter Lucia with 13 L Stones and use 14 L at the beginning and 1 more for 3509 at the end, thus totaling 15 L Stones. Thus we need Endless Item to proc on 2 times on the 13 L Stones we have during the battle and is extremely reasonable to happen. (Expected value is 13 x 1.333333 = 17.33333 effective L Stones we have.) This also means if you're short resources, you can yolo it and hope for more EI procs.
- Lastly, we need to consider the Pom L and Rev Jams we use. Each one allows us to attack once, but we also need 2 at the beginning to setup and 1 at the end to setup our finisher. Then we consider that we are doing 4 turns of Vets x1 for 3850 each and 14 turns of L Stones. That totals 2 + 1 + 4 + 14 = 21 total Pom L or Rev Jams we need in the worst case.
- We enter with 17 Rev Jams/Pom L's. Thus we need EI to proc a total of 4 times. The expected value of those 17 items with EI's 25% repeat is 17 x 1.3333333 = 22.6667 total expected Rev Jams or Pom L's, so we should be okay even if our luck is bad. If it is egregiously bad, reset. (Note that the expected value is NOT 17 x 1.25 because EI can proc on previously proc'd items and is thus more efficient than the 25% would lead one to think at first glance.)
- ###################
- Lucia math section end - ignore this above section if you are don't care why we need the quantities we get; just know that EI procs at 25% rate but makes items value 33% more (so 17 BP items is worth 22.6 items in theory).
- ###################
- Enter Ruins of Eld
- Get 20k, trigger wall cutscene
- Get Shadow L (or skip if you have excess)
- Go to next map and get Pom L + Ice L on way to Lucia
- Flee all battles as needed
- Heal HP + save before Lucia
- Lucia:
- (FYI, this is the only fully scripted solo C4 boss battle but is also the longest fight in any Octopath speedrun route afaik, so be patient as the fight takes a while.)
- General gist: we damage her a bit with Vets/L Stones while also whittling her to 1 shield with Eye for an Eye, tab to Staff to not break her when she reaches 1 shield, then we keep tossing Stone L until we get her within range to burst (68% ish Collect), then while she has 1 shield and we have 5 BP, we do Vets x4, Vets x3 in sequence (the first Vets x4 will break her remaining shield, then the follow up Vets x3 does a lot more follow-up damage on her broken turn). She'll return from break with 1 attack, but then a final L stone should defeat her.
- T1: Rev Jam (tab to spear/bow too so Eye for an Eye starts to break her - I think bow is a frame or so faster but unsure)
- T2: Sidestep x4
- T3: Sidestep x3
- T4: Pom L
- T5: Sidestep x4
- T6: Sidestep x3
- If you survived the above turns and didn't have any BP taken from her hits, you should be guaranteed to survive on your future Pom L/Rev Jam cycles, even when going last. Otherwise, retry the fight until the start goes right.
- T7: Pom L/Rev Jam (do Rev Jam if you're out of Pom L or less than 30 SP, otherwise always Pom L)
- T8: Sidestep x4
- T9: HH Vets x1
- T10: Sidestep x4
- Repeat T7-10's cycle 3 more times (so T7-T22 is just 4 sets of the above cycle), doing a total of 4 turns of Vets x1 for damage.
- If she gets below 10 shields, tab to staff until you finish the 4 turns of Vets x1, then tab back to Spear or Bow. Watch the turn order, and if there's a chance that you will prematurely break her, tab to Staff. From this point on, watch her shields. Do not break her prematurely, so tab to Staff if her shields go to 1 shield or if you have even a chance of breaking her too early (usually, this means waiting until you go, she goes, you go, and then you can tab to Spear/Bow to hope for 1 Eye for an Eye hit before immediately tabbing to Staff again. Repeat as needed to bring her to 1 shield then just stay on staff).
- After you have done the T7-T10 loop a total of 4 times (T7-T22), you should only have 60k left. Now switch to this cycle for L Stones:
- T23: Pom L/Rev Jam (do Rev Jam if you're out of Pom L or less than 30 SP, otherwise always Pom L)
- T24: Sidestep x4
- T25: L Stone (start with Shadow L Stone, then Light, then Wind, then Thunder, then Ice, then Fire)
- T26: Sidestep x4
- Repeat T23-T26's cycle 13 more times (T23-T78), doing a total of 14 L Stones of damage (T23-78 total). Now to do the final break and burst of damage (she should be at about 68% Collect, which is the value I got in my tests before the final burst):
- [Note: If on T78, you see you go first on T79, you can actually Pom L/Rev Jam on T78 and then do the Vets starting at T79. Alternatively, if you have 1 spare sidestep and go second, this works as well (you usually only have a spare if Lucia hit you on T2 before you started Sidestepping)]
- T79: Pom L/Rev Jam
- T80: HH Vets x4
- T81: HH Vets x3 (you will be hit by Hellfire after this but should survive with 400 something HP)
- T82: Fire L (or any L Stone other than Shadow L; alternatively if you ran out of stones but go first next turn, you can try to Collect and then do Vets x2)
- That last Fire L should have finished. You can optionally save before finishing C4 (recommended to Save).
- Note: If you go down to 1 Rev Jam/Pom L and did not reach 65% Collect before the final break, use it anyway and if EI doesn't proc (leaving you with 0 Pom L/Rev Jam and 5 BP), you can still proceed with the break and burst from T80-82. It is possible that after the T82 Fire L, you will go first in the next turn and can throw an L Stone before Lucia attacks you.
- If you did not reach even 65% Collect before your Pom L/Rev Jams ran out, you likely will need to retry due to below average EI luck. You can try to eke out a smidge of extra damage by letting her passively break you if turn order permits (ex T1: Lucia1 Lucia2 Cyrus1 T2: Lucia3 Lucia4 Cyrus2 turn order with enough Sidesteps and tab to Bow/Spear after his first Cyrus1 turn so that Eye for an Eye breaks her at Lucia3 or Lucia4 and lets you do a Full power Vets x4's first hit, bringing 1700 to 4000. That is 2300 extra damage and could potentially make up an L Stone, though it'll likely be tight.)
- After defeating her, I recommend saving just in case as there's a minor chance of an encounter.
- Finish the scrutinizes nearby.
- TP Duskbarrow to go to the wall painting and finish Cyrus 4.
- Time is when the last cutscene's skip box fills up just before the credits. GG.
