Masked Thief

Sherlock Holmes stood triumphantly in front of the masked jewel thief, his eyes narrowing as he prepared to unveil the thief's true identity. "At last," he said, "now to see who you really are." With a swift tug, he pulled off the mask to reveal the face of none other than A-list actor Tom Cruise.

"Tom Cruise?" Holmes exclaimed in surprise. "If that is your real name." The actor, looking uncomfortable, stammered, "You can't handle the truth!" But something seemed off. The actor's height seemed taller than expected. "Hold on, Mr. Cruise," Holmes said, examining the actor's face intently. Holmes' expression changed to one of bewilderment as he pulled off another mask, revealing the face of musician Beyoncé.

"Beyoncé?" Holmes exclaimed in sudden shock. "If that is your real name." The singer, looking uneasy, stammered, "I got hot sauce in my bag." But something seemed off. Beyoncé's accent seemed off. "Wait just a moment, Mrs. Beyoncé," Holmes said, scrutinizing the singer's face carefully. Holmes' expression changed to one of bewilderment as he pulled off another mask, revealing the face of President Barack Obama.

"Barack Obama?" Holmes exclaimed in surprise. "If that is your real name." The president, looking uneasy, stammered, "Yes we can." But something seemed off. The president's face seemed older. "Hold on, Mr. President," Holmes said, studying the president's face intently.Holmes' expression changed to one of bewilderment as he pulled off another mask, revealing the face of Queen Elizabeth II.

"Queen Elizabeth?" Holmes exclaimed in surprise. "If that is your real name." The Queen, looking uneasy, stammered, "I have to be seen to be believed." But something seemed off. The Queen's age seemed to be off. "Hold on, Your Majesty," Holmes said, examining the Queen's face carefully.

Holmes pulled off the last mask to reveal the true face of the jewel thief. But to his shock and amazement, the face staring back at him was his own. "Sherlock Holmes?" he exclaimed. "But how can this be?" It was then that he realized that his own face had been a mask all along, and he removed it to reveal the original celebrity, Tom Cruise.

"I suppose I should have known better," Holmes said with a chuckle. "It seems that I was the true thief all along, and my own clever disguise was my undoing." With a swift motion, Holmes pulled out his handcuffs and locked them around Tom Cruise's wrists. "You are under arrest, Mr. Cruise." The actor could only stare in shock as Holmes led him away.
