  1. The fact that he'd just bend himself like that was reacted to almost immediately.
  2.
  3. His eyes widened, he stood up from the bench to react to Theodore being in distress; immediately, the winds howled around Arthur, forcing quite a powerful current of wind to push Theodore out of the gravitational field.
  4.
  5. And if that wasn't enough? He added a push of his physical strength, too.
  6.
  7. He knew that gravitational power like that does not last forever; if it's interrupted constantly, it is bound to dissipate rather soon enough, simply because another magi is intervening - one of greater raw power, at that.
  8.
  9. "Azrael's breath..."
  10.
  11. Once Theodore was pulled from the gravitational field, he was quick to seat his brother on the bench, right next to the place where he was. At least he could get some rest like that, right?
  12.
  13. "Get some rest. Do not use magic like this when you're... damaged."
  14. (Arthur Rowan)
  15.
  16. Yver'atok whispers something.
  17.
  18.
  19. Yver'atok says, "Hey."
  20.
  21. ...It seems that both brothers were having trouble today- but one, much moreso than the other. If only for the moment, does the young girl find herself a little too shocked to actually assist...T-there was no way in hell that she'd be able to do anything...Perhaps, terribly frightened of what would occur, just like the other innocent bystandards in the movies that watch people nearly die...
  22.
  23. "W-what in the world..."
  24. (Bei Bei)
  25.
  26.
  27. Yver'atok says, "You.."
  28.
  29. Yver'atok says, "Follow us."
  30. Yver'atok simply stares at Clueless!
  31. (Yver'atok)
  32.
  33.
  34. Juvia Shinka says, "Hey..."
  35.
  36. Diomendes exclaims, "Hmh!"
  37.
  38. Juvia Shinka asks, "Wanna see REALLY green hair?"
  39.
  40. Diomendes asks, "Zio, how are you this fine day?"
  41. Diomendes glanced towards his brother, a vacant stare and nothing more.
  42. (Diomendes)
  43.
  44. Mina whispers something.
  45.
  46. Mina whispers something.
  47.
  48.
  49. Juvia Shinka says, "Follow me to see some really nice colors."
  50. Ostrava Grauhimmel has exited Dawn's Resurgence.
  51.
  52. Diomendes whispers something.
  53.
  54. Diomendes whispers something.
  55.
  56.
  57. Diomendes asks, "Hm?"
  58. Clueless blinks at Juvia. He follows, nonetheless.
  59. (Clueless)
  60.
  61. Moving over towards Arthur Laphicet raised his hand to wave hello. It had been some time since he last spoke with the fiery red head of a friend and he wondered how he was doing in the tournament so far. However judging from Arthurs expression he seemed quite worried.
  62.
  63. Laphicet glanced over towards his what apparently Arthur's focus was. A badly damaged man. He couldn't ascertain what happened to him exactly but he could almost feel the pain wafting out of him like a cloud of smoke.
  64.
  65. "Er Hey mister are you doing alright? You don't look so hot."
  66.
  67. HIs question was perhaps a bit obvious but being oblivious to the situation it was all he could ask to be sure. He wondered if his magic would be able to at the very least soothe his pain.
  68.
  69. " If you'd like I could relax you with my healing magic? It would at the very least allow you to relax and get some rest.."
  70.
  71. Ever caring and always ready to take some action to help Laphicet's eyes were now resolved to help if he needed to.
  72. (Laphicet)
  73.
  74. Zio picks up Black Trout.
  75.
  76. Mina whispers something.
  77.
  78. Mina whispers something.
  79.
  80. Theodore had been dragged out of the gravitational pull with a push from his brother's wind magic, alongside physical strength - such pushes removed Theodore from the affected area - luckly for him, he wasn't able to cast anything at all for now, having drained most of his mana on that flight back to campus.
  81.
  82. Theodore gasps in air, as much as he could once he'd been released from his predicament, the boy is glad he found his brother quickly, otherwise, he might've choked himself out with his own magic and became the school's punch line for every joke.
  83.
  84. "... So much for being the Stardust Crusader, I can't even control my own magic. I... I think I don't even deserve studying here." Theodore spoke out, his confidence clearly hurt from what occured today - it is as if a cloud just appeared ontop of him, causing him to have a rather pitful expression on his face.
  85.
  86.
  87. (Theodore Rowan)
  88.
  89. Diomendes whispers something.
  90.
  91. Diomendes whispers something.
  92.
  93. Diomendes whispers something.
  94.
  95. Diomendes whispers something.
  96.
  97.
  98. Diomendes exclaims, "Hmh!"
  99.
  100. Bei Bei says, "Huh..."
  101. A soft sigh, escaped the placid being which was Diomendes. Remembering how badly he lost to the blacksmith and runescribe. He was very strong, compared to Diomendes. Something which was, concerning.
  102. (Diomendes)
  103.
  104. Now, now.
  105.
  106. That's clearly not the approach that Arthur expected from his brother. To be giving up so easily on their task set to actually study here and improve themselves? That could not be accepted.
  107.
  108. And even though there was a hint of displeasure upon his face after hearing what Theodore said, he'd still keep himself as supportive as possible - they were the family after all, and they had no one else when it comes to family ties like that.
  109.
  110. "Come on, Theodore. A single step back can't possibly mean the end of a path for you."
  111.
  112. "I almost killed myself on accident today, because I went overboard with Storm magic... you'll do just fine, really! We could practice together later on too, if you'd like."
  113.
  114. Maybe at least some words of encouragement would make the matters better?
  115. (Arthur Rowan)
  116.
  117. She was surprised to hear a sibling of Zio's losing to anyone, his family just seemed like one to win all the time. It was strange to hear that, that wasn't the case.
  118. (Mina)
  119.
  120. Theodore didn't look pleased, at all.
  121.
  122. "... You shouldn't push yourself around like that, idiot.." Lookie here, a hypocrite.
  123.
  124. "If you died, I would study Necromancy, bring you back and then smack the shit out of you back to purgatory. Hmph..."
  125. (Theodore Rowan)
  126.
  127. Mina whispers something.
  128.
  129.
  130. She grumbles at the thought of what had happened- both hands tucked within her lap...Her frown beginning to deepen considerably as she looks to the darkening oceans. "It's not fair of you to be like that...you know." She adds. Although, it's none of her business, it's not something that she can help.
  131.
  132. "Didn't you just nearly kill yourself too?- Maybe he should hit you...Or maybe you both should hit each other."
  133. (Bei Bei)
  134.
  135. Diomendes whispers something.
  136.
  137. Diomendes whispers something.
  138.
  139. Diomendes whispers something.
  140.
  141.
  142. Diomendes exclaims, "Hmh!"
  143. Arthur rolled his eyes to that.
  144.
  145. "What could possibly happen? I'm already becoming a powerful magi, so that's that! Surely I could handle a blast of lightning thrown at me, anyway..."
  146.
  147. Even if it did hurt a lot, he'd try and shrug it off regardless. Why would he admit into such fact, anyway? And while such response was directed at both Theodore and Bei at once, the following words were directed to his brother only.
  148.
  149. "And we both know which one of us is making faster progress in magic! Hehe..."
  150.
  151. "Oh! And before I forget, I've been around gathering materials. Here, you can get a blacksmith to forge yourself a staff and a set of steel armor with those - also, an extra piece to enchant your staff later on."
  152.
  153. Seems that Arthur was giving a handful of minerals to Theodore.
  154. (Arthur Rowan)
  155.
  156. Still a bit of worry on his face he moved a little closer towards Theodore. Hearing that he was Arthur's brother only made him all the more worried about the stranger.
  157.
  158. " Are you sure you're alright? I'm not the best healer...but I can do something."
  159.
  160. Hearing that he'd give up studying at the Academy was a sad thing to say. He didn't know exactly what he could do to encourage him without the details but he still wanted to push him towards greatness.
  161.
  162. " Don't give up just yet mister! I'm sure whatever infliction you have can be cured or surpassed! You just have to push past it and eventually you'll be yourself again or perhaps even better!"
  163.
  164. Laphicet smiled towards him taking a seat next to the stranger.
  165. (Laphicet)
  166.
  167.
  168. Noel Farwell says, "Heyo Laphicet."
  169. Diomendes, looks over to the south. Observing the boy who was, basically always fighting the fish of the academy. Such an oddity, why was it that he did this? did he find pleasure in beating up fish? In truth-- it was hard to tell. All that he did know, was that those were the breed of fish which dropped the water crystals.
  170.
  171. A valuable stone, which can be used to enhance ones mana capacity; in some way. In truth, Diomendes did not fully understand it. It was alchemist stuff.
  172.
  173. Not something he concerned himself with an awful lot. Now he'd turn back to Mina. Awaiting a response.
  174. (Diomendes)
  175.
  176. Mina whispers something.
  177.
  178.
  179. Iosif says, "thx"
  180. Snaps to the side, towards Bei Bei.
  181.
  182. "I'm sorry but, who are you again?" Clearly not pleased with her butting in, if there was something that caused Theodore to get worked up - is someone trying to get in family matters.
  183.
  184. "Unless you marry Arthur, you have no right to say anything regarding our family matters, is that understood?" Stern and harsh, Theodore had to take the frustration out on someone, he would then puff his cheeks. "Hmph..."
  185.
  186. Then Arthur gave him minerals, Theodore took them, staring daggers at Bei Bei, before eventually looking away, towards the ocean.
  187. (Theodore Rowan)
  188.
  189. Apollo whispers something.
  190.
  191. Clarin Hayes whispers something.
  192.
  193. Diomendes whispers something.
  194.
  195. Diomendes whispers something.
  196.
  197. Diomendes whispers something.
  198.
  199.
  200. Diomendes exclaims, "I think, anyways!"
  201. Iosif drops Water Crystal x59.
  202.
  203. Iosif picks up Water Crystal x59.
  204.
  205.
  206. Apollo says, "Hey."
  207. Iosif drops Azraelite Token x1.
  208.
  209. Iosif picks up Azraelite Token.
  210.
  211. A single hand was raised up towards his forehead. Scratching at the center of it, as he tried to remember the man's name. It slipped his mind.
  212.
  213. "I am unsure."
  214. (Diomendes)
  215.
  216. Noel would let out a loud and audible yawn as he made his way to the courtyard. No one pointing and laughing... Alright so far so good... Man.. Maybe he really was worried for nothing.
  217.
  218. He'd spot a familiar blonde patch of hair on the edge of the courtyard and a grin would make it's way onto his face. He'd walk up to his partner waving nonchalantly.
  219.
  220. "Heyo Laphciet." He'd then look to the people around him and a single eyebrow would raise.
  221.
  222. "Hope I'm not stepping in the middle of anything pal."
  223. (Noel Farwell)
  224.
  225.
  226. Clarin Hayes says, "Hmm, Apollo."
  227.
  228. Clarin Hayes says, "Let me tell you about something amazing that happened earlier."
  229.
  230. Apollo asks, "What happened?"
  231. Diomendes whispers something.
  232.
  233. Diomendes whispers something.
  234.
  235.
  236. "A-ah..." She finds herself beginning to suck in air for the moment. There were to ways that she could possibly handle this...And well, she could be the little girl and decide to be quiet just as she was commanded or.. "Hey, shut up you big dummy!" It seems that when it comes to 'restraint', she lacked any and all capabilities, regardless of what could come from it.
  237.
  238. "You're lucky that we were here in the first place when you were begging for help!" Perhaps, she was going too far- but ah...well...being told that she had no 'opinion' unless she married a friend did sort of...Make her angry.
  239.
  240. "Tch, go kick rocks, dumb butt." Another thing that couldn't be helped but...Even she, would bear the same response. Arms crossed, cheeks puffed- tinged with a cherry blush. Boys are dumb.
  241. (Bei Bei)
  242.
  243.
  244. Clarin Hayes says, "Come with me, I'd rather talk about it in private."
  245.
  246. Iosif exclaims, "You!"
  247.
  248. Iosif asks, "Wanna duel for a token?"
  249.
  250. Theo says, "..Hmm.."
  251.
  252. Theo exclaims, "Sure!"
  253.
  254. Iosif says, "Cool, follow meee.."
  255. Mina whispers something.
  256.
  257. Mina whispers something.
  258.
  259.
  260. Diomendes exclaims, "Hmh!"
  261. Diomendes whispers something.
  262.
  263. Laphicet turned towards the black haired boy a smile erupted from his face as he went over towards his friend. He shook his head from side to side seeing as they're was no need to be worried about that.
  264.
  265. " Nope nothing to interrupt just seeing if this guy is alright but...it seems he's doing just fine. How've you been? Since the tournament started we haven't been able to train that much together have we?"
  266.
  267. He smiled again moving towards Noel. Then a memory came to him he looked quite excited by it too.
  268.
  269. "Hey I've got a surprise for you! Since we already got your armor made I figured I skip ahead and gather some materials for your staff as well. Nothing conducts magic better than mythril after all!"
  270.
  271. He reached into his coat and grabbed some ores. They weren't mythril however yet he knew they'd be essential to creating his Noel's new staff.
  272. (Laphicet)
  273.
  274. Diomendes nodded twice, placid face as always.
  275. (Diomendes)
  276.
  277. Looks south once more, watching the fish killer.
  278.
  279. "He is odd."
  280. (Diomendes)
  281.
  282. "..."
  283.
  284. That's quite a thing that Theodore decided to blurt out. To marry him, and that's only then her opinion matters at all? It's a turn of events that felt a tad too fast, at the very least. Needless to say, it did embarrass Arthur--
  285.
  286. -- again, which seems to be re-occurring thing that Theodore does.
  287.
  288. "Seriously..."
  289.
  290. "She's my friend, Theodore. And I-- I think it's a tad too early to be thinking of marriage at my current age..."
  291.
  292. No really, what'd he expect? A positive reaction?
  293.
  294. "Her opinion does matter to me, okay? She's a nice, genuine person."
  295.
  296. Yet, despite such words spoken, even with such relative confidence, one could almost note the trail of crimson flushed across his cheeks, even if mildly.
  297.
  298. Particular thoughts on the matters that were voiced weren't exactly... expected.
  299. (Arthur Rowan)
  300.
  301. Mina whispers something.
  302.
  303. A large grin would make it's way onto his face as fake tears began to pour from his eyes. He'd give his partner the biggest bear hug he could as once again he proved exactly why they had decided to team up in the first place.
  304.
  305. "This is amazing!" He'd begin to chuckle as he released his friend. While he would never part with the staff his mother had given him with some help he might be able to use the ore to simply upgrade it... What a dream it would be to bring out the real power of this staff that he treasured more than anything at the moment.
  306.
  307. "Hey, let's head to my house real quick. I need to ask Kor for a favor!" And with that he'd take off running at full speed hoping the blonde haired boy would follow after him.
  308.
  309. "After this though we should totally get some training done!" Determined to push forward he'd increase his speed more and more.
  310. (Noel Farwell)
  311.
  312. Noel Farwell whispers something.
  313.
  314. Diomendes whispers something.
  315.
  316. Noel Farwell whispers something.
  317.
  318. Theodore was still not out of the cloud that covers him, the pain - the embarassement, it all played a big part of how he acted here and now.
  319.
  320. "Listen, bye bye, if you don't quit being a fucking retard for once, I'll burn my mana circuits knocking the brains out of your skull - even though it would be wasted on you, you lack a brain to begin with."
  321.
  322. Uh-oh, this looked bad. Arthur could see a raging Theodore in progress, there was only one way he could calm down, which was something Arthur had to learn over long years of being kicked around by Theodore!
  323.
  324. Theodore's brown eyes shot towards Arthur now.
  325.
  326. "Like fuck I'm going to let you marry an Azrael damned jink! I won't let you soil our Valmasian bloodline!" Rough words, even racist - Theodore was taking all of his frustration out on the two of them.
  327.
  328. And then his brother decided to say something, which Theodore found so stupid which forced him to scoff.
  329.
  330. "Pa-lease. If her opinions matter to you, maybe I should leave and never return, yeah?"
  331. (Theodore Rowan)
  332.
  333. Yver'atok drops Water Crystal x1.
  334.
  335. Zio sips tea.
  336. (Zio)
  337.
  338. Mina does the same.
  339. (Mina)
  340.
  341. Zio wiggles his fingers at Theo. Bye bitch.
  342. (Zio)
  343.
  344. Na'atl giggles a bit before taking a sip of Jinghese tea.
  345. (Na'atl)
  346.
  347. Even if he was his brother, it didn't mean that he could talk down to people he values like that.
  348.
  349. It earned a clearly negative reaction from him, a frown that appeared on Arthur's face could easily be read as that of annoyance - while he held back against his brother often, it was hardly the case now, and he decided to voice what he thinks about his attitude right now.
  350.
  351. "This isn't even about marriage, you idiot!"
  352.
  353. To hear him repeat this word was becoming almost enraging, rather than embarrassing. For just how long he'd assume there's anything between him and her?
  354.
  355. They were still children.
  356.
  357. "She's a friend of mine, and you don't get to talk about her like that!"
  358.
  359. "Quit being an ass, or I'm going to kick yours!"
  360.
  361. A statement of presence was clearly made, one that put Theodore before the ultimatum - either he falls silent, or this would be resolved by violence.
  362. (Arthur Rowan)
  363.
  364.
  365. If there was one thing that she had found to be terribly encouraging of her antics- it would be the sudden 'explosive' vocabulary spilling from the lips of Theodore Rowan. At one point in time, she had thought that the brothers were rather entertaining- to a strange degree. But talk of being 'married' and 'loving' and dabbling within things that are no good seemed to bother her time and time again. Now why is it that....He would even say something of the sort? If only briefly, does she find herself beginning lean back- words spilling forth from her lips with relative ease..
  366.
  367. "You know what I think is kinda funny..?" She questions while beginning to quirk an eyebrow- her smile widening considerably. "That you decided to 'burn' out your mana circuits thinking that you were going to get any bit of 'stronger' than you already are....And incase you didn't know already... you're not strong." Maybe you should go ask Mister Dylerun how he really thinks of your fighting style and how he thought of you as being the more useless one between you and your brother." Her arms cross, her gaze drifts elsewhere.
  368.
  369. "Why would I need to soil a dumb bloodline when you've already soiled it by being bad...How are you worse than your younger brother?--- How did you already burn yourself out and nearly die....By your own magic?" Saddity. High saddity. It was an impeccable pride that spill forward- toxicity spilling from her lips.
  370.
  371. "Tch...All of those piercings on your face- making you think that you're some big bad guy when really, you're just an idiot with a face kinda like a pin cushion. I think you should shuddup before you embarrass yourself more...Dumb-butt. You actand look like a dumb bull that's seen a red flag." He was dumb...And to be completely honest...It wasn't something that she could help. Her pride gets in the way of many, many things.
  372. (Bei Bei)
  373.
  374. Diomendes whispers something.
  375.
  376. Diomendes whispers something.
  377.
  378. Mina whispers something.
  379.
  380. Suddenly, Ashton leans over Arthur to attempt and smack Bei Bei across the face, he clearly heard enough of it.
  381. (Theodore Rowan)
  382.
  383. Mina whispers something.
  384.
  385. Diomendes whispers something.
  386.
  387.
  388. Juvia Shinka says, "Hey."
  389. Diomendes glared towards Mina, curious.
  390. (Diomendes)
  391.
  392.
  393. Diomendes asks, "Hmh?"
  394.
  395. Juvia Shinka says, "All of you...calm down."
  396. gets smacked! Buuut...It seems that she reels back and starts swinging her little hands wildly. Oooooo fight fight fight.
  397. (Bei Bei)
  398.
  399. Bei wind mills bc she don't know how to fight yet...but she still gonna fk him up.
  400. (Bei Bei)
  401.
  402.
  403. Yver'atok says, "Lady Cho.."
  404.
  405. Na'atl says, "Wolfie, things are way too out of hand already. Just let them settle this themselves"
  406.
  407. Yver'atok asks, "Might, we have a lesson on Occultism, soon enough?"
  408.
  409. Diomendes asks, "Miss Cho?"
  410.
  411. Diomendes asks, "I was told that one cannot decline their first challenge?"
  412.
  413. Diomendes asks, "Is that true-- Or?"
  414. Louis Jager whispers something.
  415.
  416.
  417. Juvia Shinka says, "Fine, Kitty."
  418.
  419. Yver'atok says, "If someone declines they should forfeits all tokens they possess.."
  420. Na'atl whispers something.
  421.
  422. Yver'atok chuckled!
  423. (Yver'atok)
  424.
  425.
  426. Diomendes asks, "Hmh?"
  427.
  428. Louis Jager says, "Dang.."
  429.
  430. Yver'atok says, "Well, on their first challenge at best."
  431.
  432. Diomendes says, "I see."
  433.
  434. Yver'atok says, "Mm..I need another injury of mine healed.."
  435.
  436. Diomendes says, "I challenge the kid, who just got his new tokens."
  437. While the words spoken by Bei Bei were not exactly pleasant, or at least, how she worded those insults, in a way that they could be taken as partially directed to Arthur due to natural connection of the two brothers - he disregarded it for the time being.
  438.
  439. Why? Because Theodore was in the wrong here. He started it all.
  440.
  441. His attempt to lunge upon Bei Bei was intercepted immediately, the hand of a younger brother stopping his older kin; within immediate moment, a discharge of electricity ran through his palm, combined with the bloodbending to immobilize Theodore's further attempts to actually reach out against her.
  442.
  443. And his second hand? It blew him away from the bench, forcing him to back off, if not entirely fall down.
  444.
  445. "That's it!"
  446.
  447. Surges of lightning ran across his body, and his arms acquired the shape of whiplashes - ones that Theodore should be familiar with by now, something that Arthur was wielding with high efficiency.
  448.
  449. A terrifying power of compelling the bodies of the others.
  450.
  451. "You're on!"
  452.
  453. The only warning that Theodore was given before the fight between brothers would inevitably start. He pushed the wrong buttons for far too long.
  454. (Arthur Rowan)
  455.
  456.
  457. Yver'atok says, "Hey. I was going to kick his ass."
  458.
  459. Diomendes says, "Snooze you lose."
  460.
  461. Yver'atok says, "You shit."
  462.
  463. Yver'atok says, "Diomendes..."
  464.
  465. Yver'atok says, "..Nah, I'm injured wouldn't be fair.."
  466.
  467. Yver'atok says, "Maybe when I'm less injured."
  468.
  469. Yver'atok says, "...."
  470. Lauren Raynor has exited Dawn's Resurgence.
  471.
  472. Surely enough, the words Bei Bei spoke hit too close to home but... Theodore wasn't one to handle his emotions very well, especially at his current situation and when Arthur tried to stop him, well...
  473.
  474. The Crusader went full no-fucks-given mode, activating his cosmic aura and overcharging himself again, not even doing it moderately, he was taken over by what he viewed as his brother's betrayal. He did not intend for this to happen, but, his weakened state of mind had gotten the best of him.
  475.
  476. "YOU SAY ITS ON? I'LL SHOW YOU WHATS ON." Theodore screamed, at the top of his lungs, forcing gravity to carry him once again, his circuits weren't recovering - at all, especially since he wasted no time to actually get rested.
  477.
  478. This will turn out to be bad, regardless of the battle's outcome.
  479. (Theodore Rowan)
  480.
  481. Lauren covers her ears as soon as she walks out of the main building. Sweet Jesus.

  485. Yver'atok says, "..."
  486.
  487. Yver'atok says, "Noisy, little shits.."
  488. Bei just stares at the fight intensely...both hands clenched into tight fists

  544.
  545. Yver'atok is now observing Theodore Rowan
  546.
  547. Theodore Rowan has sustained a grevious injury in battle...
  548.
  549.
  550. Yver'atok says, "...Dissapointing.."
  551. Na'atl continues to sip tea

  564.

  566.
  567. Laphicet says, "Alright! So lets find somewhere to train then."
  568. Louis Jager whispers something.
  569.
  570. Haku whispers something.
  571.
  572. Zio scratches his cheek, jade irises watching silently. Judging.

  590.
  591. Juvia Shinka whispers something.
  592.
  593. Louis Jager whispers something.
  594.
  595. Haku whispers something.
  596.
  597. Arthur has certainly grown.
  598.
  599. Perhaps, beyond Theodore's realization. The boy that he used to shame, the boy that he used to call weak - now has grown to be a powerful adversary, one that is certainly going to become a far bigger threat in the future.
  600.
  601. And Theodore had a taste of his power firsthand.
  602.
  603. "You won't get away with this!"
  604.
  605. And they say that blood is thicker than water.
  606.
  607. Unironically, it's exactly the power that Arthur used to smite his brother; taking control of his body, much like he were his puppet, a possession, he was met with the horrifying force of whiplashes right against him, combined with electricity sent as a charge into his body--
  608.
  609. -- and to top it off, the horrible shredding winds have landed horrible cuts all across his body.
  610.
  611. "You're a disrespectful piece of shit!"
  612.
  613. The first lash of whip. One thatcarried his hatred, his anger, all of his pent up frustrations, crushing Theodore's bones as he yelled it out- it seems that the older brother has gotten the better of him at this point, and now, there was hell to pay.
  614.
  615. "You always made me miserable, whenever I slipped up just once!"
  616.
  617. The second lash of whip. The force that was applied was so terrible, that onlooking spectators could quite literally hear Theodore's bones in torso breaking - his ribs were turned into one big mess, full of cracks and ruined joints.
  618.
  619. "And you're never truly fucking sorry!
  620.
  621. A third lash of whip, and Theodore's ribcage was crushed entirely. At this point, he'd struggle to even take a single breath - even a simple inhale would feel like daggers poking against his lungs, forcing him in a pool of excruciating pain.
  622.
  623. "I hate this! I hate when you do this!"
  624.
  625. "I hate you!"
  626.
  627. And the final discharge of lightning, made to electrocute Theodore where he laid, forcing his muscles to shift and contort uncontrollably to the pressure of lightning. Considering the previous wound, one that made it a horrible pain whenever a tiny move was made--
  628.
  629. -- this is nothing short of torture.
  630.
  631. But at last, he stepped away, his gaze pointed at Theodore, defeated. At last, realization came to his mind...
  632.
  633. 'What... what did I just do?'
  634. (Arthur Rowan)
  635.
  636. Yver'atok would sigh, taking several steps towards the defeated form of the Cosmic magi. Amusement warred within his gaze, alongside arisen cruelty. He stood a few paces over the downed child.
  637.
  638. Mythril hand and finger's twitching, reaching and grasping ahold of the Sacrificial dagger. Removing it from it's sheath. Letting the blade glint in the light cast from nearby lamps. He strode forth. Uncaring for the finishing climax of the battle. Leaning slightly, he brought the dagger forwards.
  639.
  640. Quickly was the dagger brought closer towards Theodore's form, as if he had intent to stab him. Yet it was not plunged within him, it was instead dropped next to him, upon the grass. "Is this all you can do? Is this the limit of your potential? If so, it is lacking. You are lacking. What are you going to do, to fix this?"
  641.
  642. He gazed at the boy. His eyes passing towards his dropped dagger. Voice brimming with loathing at his fallen form. "Show me your resolve. Do something meaningful. Make an oath..in on your own blood to strive for your potential. No matter the depths you must sink to reach it.."
  643.
  644. He stood silently waiting, watching and assessing the Cosmic magi. Wondering if he would..willingly make a statement to demonstrate his resolve.
  645. (Yver'atok)
  646.
  647. Clarin scratched his chin. It didn't seem as if Louis was just standing after all.
  648. (Clarin Hayes)
  649.
  650.
  651. Lauren Raynor says, "---"
  652. Louis Jager whispers something.

  662. Ilonnia whispers something.
  663.
  664. Lu Zain drops Adamant Heart.
  665.
  666. Lu Zain picks up Adamant Heart.
  667.
  668.
  669. Diomendes asks, "Hm?"
  670.
  671. Diomendes asks, "What did I miss?"
  672. Lauren blinks in utter disbelief at what she just saw; just what in Azrael's name was Arthur doing?
  673. (Lauren Raynor)
  674.
  675.
  676. For someone to attack their own flesh and blood, their own partner in such a fashion meant that troubles were more than just knee deep. She had thought that she could see some semblance of happiness within the Rowan...She thought that she could see a part of him that had redeemed himself from the hatred but within the end, she was right. She knew that it was still there... Even when he had attempted to deny it. But she refused to push the matter, afraid of what might happen...Afraid of what could occur.
  677.
  678. The world goes mute.
  679. Bones shatter.
  680.
  681. The only thing that existed is the brutal display of magic that she had seen- raw emotion spilling forward, adding to the visceral scene that steadily blossomed infront of her being. She knows that magi can become bloodied but...Never did she see something like this. And surely enough...She knew that this would be far, far from over.
  682.
  683. Hands press lightly against her cheeks- her gazebeginning to look elsewhere. If she had remained quiet, then this wouldn't have happened. If she just accepted what Theodore had said, then the two would've never fought like this...
  684.
  685. "A-Arthur.." It was spoken...In half fear. In half wonder. "I'm sorry.." She shouldn't have even commented. It would've been better to just stay silent but...She couldn't help it.
  686. (Bei Bei)
  687.
  688. A hand lifts up to the pale Neries' face, rubbing lightly against the flesh as eyes wandered along the scene at hand. It was truly, truly never a dull moment in Pleure Academy, that was something that was without a doubt.
  689.
  690. That was just what happened, though, when a group of rambunctious children magi were grouped up in one area, though...
  691. (Zetes)
  692.
  693. Theodore was just at a loss of words as his brother had said, the reaction his brother gave off had simply broken Theodore, so much so that he couldn't speak - even forgetting to breath for a few seconds.
  694.
  695. It wasn't the pain of his mana circuits literally breaking down with each time he casted magic.
  696.
  697. It wasn't the pain of the blood tensing his body, making him unable to move.
  698.
  699. It wasn't the physical pain which harmed him.
  700.
  701. 'I hate you' his brother said, seemingly - it wasn't betrayal at this point, no, it was disappointment with himself and what he's done - he thought he would be sheltering his brother from this world, from everything but in reality? He did nothing but hold him back.
  702.
  703. Theodore didn't even react to his torso being shaped differently, he didn't react at all - he wasn't dead either, he could move his eyes to scan the people around him.
  704.
  705. He broke, all of this stress just building up over and over and over again was just too much for him to handle. He couldn't speak anymore, he couldn't make a sound.
  706.
  707. Not even a move.
  708.
  709. He stood there watching everyone before eventually... He would crawl towards the waters. He didn't have to stay alive anymore, he used his arms to crawl, face in the sands, dragging - his eyes were tearing up from the sand entering him - he couldn't breath, for it got into his nose and mouth - he didn't even bother to look where he was dragging himself.
  710.
  711. It was obvious, his brother doesn't want him anymore - why should he live?
  712. (Theodore Rowan)
  713.
  714. Slowly, the Neries made his way towards the bench before suddenly lowering himself down to the wooden contraption. Sitting upon it and leaning back against the trunk of the tree. Two, vacant looking eyes stared towards whatever the two brothers facing one another were doing. In truth, it was hard to understand what was happening.
  715.
  716. The only time Dio and his own brother Zio looked at each other like that, was when they were play fighting as kids. It's difficult to tell what was happening.
  717.
  718. It was time to, try and understand them.
  719. (Diomendes)
  720.
  721. Yver'atok felt disgust, silently reaching for his dagger. Picking it up. He would walk towards Theodore.
  722. (Yver'atok)
  723.
  724. There'd be some soft murmuring to herself made as Diomendes came over; Zio's older brother as she understood it. Surely he had just seen what Arthur had done, which to Lauren was a massive surprise, she didn't think the lad was that cruel or destructive but apparently, he was!
  725.
  726. "Bwuh… Bah.", if anything it made her a touch uncomfortable; on one hand she wanted to get in there and slap some sense into Arthur, but on the other hand she knew that she wasn't too good at defusing situations and might simply make it worse in the current climate.
  727.
  728. And thus she simply watched and waited, hoping the violence that went overboard had came to an end.
  729. (Lauren Raynor)
  730.
  731. No, this can't be happening.
  732.
  733. Arthur gazed down at his own hands, the very hands that have just crippled his brother for life, the very hands that were crimson with Theodore's blood, the same hands that he'd almost snuff his life out with.
  734.
  735. He was just a child, and yet quickly forgetting the extent of his own power, of his own determination - and just how far it can take him, blindly, silently.
  736.
  737. Unknowingly.
  738.
  739. Even though Yver'atok attempted to get in the way between two brothers, Arthur was quick to disregard; his eyes were set upon Theodore, whom was slowly crawling into the water. Despite all his injuries, despite all the pain that he experienced, despite all of the words that Arthur said, now--
  740.
  741. -- now he was trying to kill himself.
  742.
  743. "No..."
  744.
  745. "No! Theodore, wait!"
  746.
  747. The world did not exist for Arthur, much like this crowd - nothing mattered now, but the sin of a brother taking up arms against one of his own. Even if he was in the wrong, did he deserve something like this?
  748.
  749. ...Arthur wasn't sure. The guilt plagued his heart, and it was enough.
  750.
  751. Hurrying to stop his brother from crawling further into the water, Arthur didn't wish to lose Theodore so soon, no- the heartache from such single thought was overwhelming, enough to send any sane man into frenzy.
  752.
  753. And gods help whoever tries to get in his way to his brother.
  754. (Arthur Rowan)
  755.
  756. Watching two brothers fight like this truly broke his heart. It was during moments like these he was grateful for having an unnaturally good relationship with his siblings. He should've stopped Arthur, but.. he was no Elren. It brought shame to him.. his inaction was horrible.
  757.
  758. He regretted it.. but there was still time to do something.
  759.
  760. "STOP!"
  761.
  762. Planting his feet firmly into the grass, he'd sink ever so slightly.. before eventually propelling himself on the ground and in between the brothers. Unfortunately, it was too late to prevent damages done to either sibling.. but he could stop Theodore from doing something so, so incredibly stupid.
  763.
  764. He had too.
  765.
  766. He knew She would want him to help.
  767.
  768. Voice booming across the surface of the water, he'd crouch-- gently pulling the beaten brother out with his brute strength, holding him in his arms. Theodore was probably too beaten and broken to resist his grip anyway.
  769.
  770. Jade irises would flicker violently, glaring at Arthur.
  771.
  772. "Is this what you do to a brother?
  773.
  774. Is that what you do to your blood and flesh?
  775.
  776. On this cruel continent, your siblings are the few people that will have your back no matter what. No matter what sin he commits, no matter the faults he makes or the way he treats you-- there is no you without him."
  777.
  778. Like an angry priest, he'd begin to walk toward the Academy in hopes of placing Theodore upon a bed or something-- a place where a professional could take care of him. Hopefully, Dio heard Zio's words, since he was speaking them from the heart and experience.
  779.
  780. Clop... Clop... Clop...
  781.
  782. As the spectators watched in shock what had just transpired, Zio's footsteps would resonate through Pleure Academy's square, glancing over his shoulder as Arthur seemed to be heading his way.
  783.
  784. "What are you doing?! He needs to rest! At least wait until he's in the infirmary, Arthur."
  785.
  786. Boy was Arthur mistaken if he thought Zio wasn't going to knock him away with Theodore atop his arms.
  787. (Zio)
  788.
  789.
  790. Zetes asks, "Does anyone else not enotice this guy over here acting like he wants to literally stab the poor kid?"
  791. Diomendes, yawned briefly.
  792.
  793. Covering his mouth with the palm of his hand, for a brief period of time before finally removing it.
  794.
  795. "Hmm."
  796. (Diomendes)
  797.
  798. Zetes absolutely squints in the direction of Yver'atok approaching Theodore with a knife in his hands.
  799. (Zetes)
  800.
  801. Ilonnia whispers something.
  802.
  803. Ilonnia whispers something.
  804.
  805. Haku whispers something.
  806.
  807. Seeing the situation in hand. The male, would quickly sheath his dagger. Can't believe he forgot to that earlier! At his feet the mana he had been steadily building up, to begin altering the ground around Theodore, to try and halt him from walking to his attempted suicide..faded.
  808.
  809. This..it disgusted him. With a slight twist of his lips, he turned. To wander back towards the square. "Well, at least I didn't need to use my earth magic and break his legs temporarily to stop him from walking." He retorted to those present.
  810.
  811. Foolish kids..
  812. (Yver'atok)
  813.
  814. Feng blinks.
  815. (Feng Bao)
  816.
  817.
  818. There is something disgusting etched within her being. The little girl's pride reinforced by the movement of another- even when she had no place within the world to feel that way. Even when she had no reason to feel as if she were above the one who had gotten broken down and shattered before his brother. Regardless of such- her gaze drifts towards that of Yver'atok with the dagger in his hands...And then to the other two boys who seemed to be yelling about all that had occurred.
  819.
  820. "It's not his fault that his brother was being a bully!" Her voice rises up once again- little fists clenching tighter into balls. "Don't try to guilt-trip him because Theodore was trying to be mean! He was warned...And it's not the first time that he's threatened Arthur with that either! You...Don't try to act as if you're higher than anyone here when you were watching what happened!"
  821.
  822. That was right. "If he's such a big guy and a noble person and Family then he wouldn't threaten to disown Arthur at every chance he got! And he wouldn't ever try to slap anyone that's smaller than him. He's a bully! A big, mean one...And you-- I bet you're no good either if you're fine with what he did." She says.
  823.
  824. "I'm not sorry that Arthur beat him up...I'm only sorry that Arthur has a brother that does the things that he does. That says the things that he says...It's rude. It's wrong. And it's terrible!" They were all, incredibly, incredibly mean..
  825.
  826. "Don't act like you're doing a noble thing by trying to make Arthur feel bad. You-- you both are the bad ones. YOU are the bad guy." Yes, she accuses them both now. Because in her eyes...Each of them were just as worse as any criminal.
  827. (Bei Bei)
  828.
  829. Zio was not wrong to be willing to stop Arthur.
  830.
  831. But once the initial anger has faded, the deep regret settled in at what he'd done. The world has faded in his eyes, and the darkness veiled his eyes, the silence covered his ears, and yet--
  832.
  833. -- yet the words of a Neries priest resonated in his mind, like a haunting, shaming curse that reminded him of such pathetic mistake he's committed against his brother. 'Is this what you do to a brother?'. It... stung at his heart.
  834.
  835. Despite all the wrongs that Theodore has ever done to Arthur, he couldn't forgive himself to see his brother in such state; no matter the fact that Bei Bei defended Arthur like this, no matter that she took his side in all of this mess, she simply was not heard.
  836.
  837. His eyes, his mind, his heart - they were all focused on the horrible pain he's inflicted to Theodore.
  838.
  839. "Theodore! Please, don't do this!"
  840.
  841. He'd only softly grasp his brother on his way to the water - Theodore was trying to drown himself, and that's the reason why Arthur rushed over, to stop him from doing that.
  842.
  843. He wished no further fight, no. The time for that was over.
  844.
  845. But Zio intervened, deciding to pick up Theodore instead. While if it was almost anyone else, he'd object, but... a Valmasian priest? He was probably better off in Zio's hands at this point, rather than Arthur's.
  846.
  847. He no longer trusted himself when it comes to dealing with his brother.
  848.
  849. "I'm--"
  850.
  851. "I'm so sorry... Azrael's breath, what have I done..."
  852.
  853. The Neries priest was not stopped from taking Theodore once Arthur stopped his brother from drowning himself- he only watched Theodore being taken away, his mind and heart aching in union for what just happened.
  854.
  855. 'How could I let this happen...'
  856.
  857. A single thought remained upon his mind, and he stood there, wondering, fearing - what will happen to the relationship between brothers now?
  858.
  859. But there was no answer. There was only regret.
  860. (Arthur Rowan)
  861.
  862. Theodore's hand was digging into the sand - so much pressure was put into doing so that his finger nails peeled right off. He didn't want to exist anymore, he dragged himself onwards with one hand, all of his body weight - dead weight is being dragged on forward towards the ocean.
  863.
  864. The boy didn't stop, no matter how much Arthur begged him to do so, no matter how many of them tried to get him to stop - he simply would not. Dragging away, into the ocean.
  865.
  866. Everyone else tried to stop him and some tried to help him, but Theodore was somewhere else, an entirely different plain entirely - some would say that he had a moment of clarity, a moment of light shined through him - whatever happened in his trance while dragging himself? That's for him to remember.
  867.
  868. Then, Zio, the Dreamer's chosen grabbed him up with brute strength but Theo did not want to let go. His fingers were locked on with the sand, the tug that the priest had given him caused nothing but for his fingers to hopelessly try to grasp the last bits of sand before being hurled up, onto his shoulder.
  869.
  870. Still, Theodore did not respond, his mouth was salivating, his noise was running - his eyes were full of sand. It is as if he doesn't care about his wellbeing at all anymore.
  871.
  872. And he's right to do so.
  873. (Theodore Rowan)
  874.
  875. There was an exasperated sigh that left Zio's lips. It's true, he acted late, but by no means did it mean that the Neries didn't care for Theodore's well being. They were both so young, Bei Bei too.. so to expect them to not take justice into their own hands would be naïve. The words that Zio did speak to Arthur, however, carried no venom or spite-- rather, they carried emphasis and importance.
  876.
  877. They were words that the young Valmasian would need to live by his whole life, he ever expected to guide his brother on the right path.
  878.
  879. "Bei Bei, as unacceptable as Theodore's behaviour was, Arthur took it too far. In order to teach someone the fault in their actions, you first need to understand that there is fault at all, then make sure you don't stoop to their level when attempting to prove your point."
  880.
  881. Words that probably didn't mean much to the children, but gradual preaching and lessons would surely enlighten them.
  882.
  883. "I expect all of you to make up once young Theodore is in a better state. I hope I'm clear."
  884.
  885. "Else I'll have you put in the juvenile detention center."
  886.
  887. Wow.. so threatening... Man, he wasn't even sure if he even had the power to do something like that, but it was easy to spook children this way. The sight in his arms was pitiful, to say the least.
  888.
  889. Out of respect for the injured boy, Zio would lift his cloak up-- hiding him from spectators as he walked away with him in his arms.
  890.
  891. "Come see him later. If there are medical professionals present.. please do follow along."
  892. (Zio)
