  1. [17:14] Noel Elisheva says, "We're coming together to share our divine blessing with these two."
  2. [17:14] Magdalen Elisheva asks, "Anyone know how to do that?"
  3. [17:14] Calael Elisheva says, "........"
  4. [17:14] Noel Elisheva says, "It'll be something like a group prayer. And it should feel pretty natural, with all of us involved."
  5. [17:14] Noel Elisheva says, "The first step is to ensure that all of us are on the same page."
  6. [17:14] Magdalen Elisheva says, "Mm, I was thinking more along the lines of me tattooing runes on the two of them and giving them a few drops of our blood... But I guess dancing in a circle and banging a tambourine would work too."
  7. [17:14] Noel Elisheva asks, "Calael, Magdalen, do you agree with my selection of Thera as my blessed?"
  8. [17:15] Calael Elisheva says, "I do."
  9. [17:15] Magdalen Elisheva exclaims, "You two are pretty cute together, so I definitely do! I'm glad miss Thera found such a nice wife!"
  10. [17:15] Magdalen can't help but break into giggles again.
  11. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [17:15] Calael tries not to laugh.
  15. (Calael Elisheva)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. [17:15] Sir Spud silently thinks the runes and blood sound fun.
  19. (Sir Airgenald Spudnicus Ixis)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. [17:17] Noel turns to glance at Magdalen, hands tucked partially into his pockets. Lacking a gigglefit of his own, he waits for Calael to repeat the phrase with Spudnicus' name.
  23. (Noel Elisheva)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [17:17] Calael Elisheva asks, "Noel, Magdalen, do you agree with my selection of Sir Airgenald Spudnicus as my blessed?"
  27. [17:18] Magdalen has a big, dumb grin on her face, like usual. Once that question is asked, she gives a quick nod, however!
  28. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [17:18] Magdalen Elisheva exclaims, "Mhm! Mister Spud has a really cool beard now too!"
  32. [17:18] Magdalen Elisheva exclaims, "All handsome and stuff!"
  33. [17:18] Noel Elisheva says, "Yep. He's been with us since the start."
  34. [17:18] Sir Airgenald Spudnicus Ixis says, ".. Thank you, both of you."
  35. [17:20] Noel Elisheva says, "So without a spireshard, I can only assume that the next step to the blessing is to.."
  36. [17:20] Calael glances at Noel, ready to follow his lead.
  37. (Calael Elisheva)
  38. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  39.
  40. [17:36] Noel takes a few moments to beckon Magdalen closer, unsure of why she was that far in the first place. The ritual required at least three of them for a reason, right? So proximity had to have a lot to do with whether or not the group would prove to be successful or not.
  41.
  42. For the first time in a while, Noel becomes serious - optics looking back and forth between those gathered as he puts the bits of pieces together. Even without the full lesson from Cassel they were toddlers, he uses deductive logic to see the group through. While Calael studied the stars and Magdalen studied the art of crafting and scribing, Noel had aimed to study himself to better understand what needed to be done in this moment.
  43.
  44. "The process is something like a tether. When this is said and done, we want them to be linked to us directly, Cal'. First things first - wings out." He wasn't sure if it actually mattered or not, but it would look pretty awesome. His small, feathered wings begin to expand outwards behind him, eventually reaching a length that would allow him to rise up and hover before the lot of them with occasional flaps.
  45.
  46. "Divine energy is what we are going to tether them with. And although this is a group effort.." A hand reaches over his heart and lingers there for a while, warming his chest from the exterior while another forces begins to swell within and warm the interior. When the two meet, they take on the color of the divine - a bright, golden light that shimmers with the love that the demi angels were raised to share.
  47.
  48. Due to Noel's blessings as a chosen on the Arcana, he has a great deal of skill when it comes to manipulating and redirecting such magnificent sources of light! And so he does, pulling a portion of that light from his chest and splitting it further between his two hands. One extends out to the left for Calael to hold onto, while the other is held out for Thera before him, along with a smile.
  49.
  50. "Let's try linking up. We'll be like a conduit for the divine in these moments. I imagine it being a bar that needs a certain amount of divine energy to be reached, and this is how we do that. Magdalen, join in when you can, please."
  51.
  52. The area around the group begins to glow too, outlining their 'circle' for the ritual. The more demi angels that joined in, the brighter it would become.
  53. (Noel Elisheva)
  54. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  55.
  56. [17:42] Wings out.
  57.
  58. Calael extended his white wings to their full length, bumping them into Noel's in the process. He shifted to get comfortable and to not look silly before he took his place across from the Ookami who had saved his life, or at least saved him from injury, during their first year upon Agartha.
  59.
  60. His own golden light begins to glow before Cal's starlight joins it. Whether it was needed or not was unknown to the demiangel, but he figured it couldn't hurt, plus if he was to share his bond with Airgenald it might be important that the shield-knight bear some sort of connection to Io as well. Cal had depended on his star for so long, it felt only right that his Guardian do the same, even if he didn't practice cosmic magic himself.
  61.
  62. "For guidance." he said, mostly toward Spud. "Now let's see..." Cal took Noel's hand and then extended his own toward Magdalen too, and he took his own place to secure what might be a 'circle' around the two in the center.
  63.
  64. It was only a matter of time now.
  65. (Calael Elisheva)
  66. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  67.
  68. [18:01] The white-cloaked Magdalen hums thoughtfully to herself as she considers the methodology of this particular ritual. She's not so good with the 'up-in-the-air' nature of this ritual. Everything she does when she wishes to enchant or forge is methodical and studied.
  69.
  70. The sister paces, full of energy that isn't being directed for a particular end - her most unfocused and least efficient state. Her lips purse at the other's explanation, critical of the words, but all she gives is a tiny 'hrm'.
  71.
  72. She comes to stand between Spud and Thera, placing a hand on either one of their shoulders and giving a pleasant squeeze to either. Warm and affectionate, and a glance in her direction has a smile levied towards them. It's just then that she realizes she doesn't have a blessed candidate.
  73.
  74. "Oh... I probably should have picked one out too, shouldn't I?"
  75.
  76. The sister sounds the slightest bit disappointed by that bit of musing, but regardless, hands are removed, and she begins scrawling lines of runic symbols in the air. Her patterns float, and those with knowledge of runescribing knows that these runic pathways and lines aren't anything special at all - just pathways for mana to move through, terminating at both Spud and Thera's shoulders, from her hands.
  77.
  78. Similarly, as the area begins to glow around them, she works to refine what's present in that undirected light, tracing luminous glyphs in the air - a radial rune to draw power from the excess energies being utilized here, a supporting weave to enhance and focus it within this small 'circle' of the three of them, and parameters of constant activation until the ritual ends.
  79.
  80. Now, the glowing perimeter is covered in those luminous white runes, and she focuses on feeding mana to the two before her. As she works, she speaks casually;
  81.
  82. "Mm... I think what's going to happen is that we're going to use our magic in excess, and having their circuits be overwhelmed by it. The golden magic that stems from our father's blood."
  83.
  84. It's pretty in her nature to just make a plan like that. Maybe stealing a bit of Noel's thunder, or adding to it - depending on one's point of view. Her feathering wings stretch a little behind her, a tiny ruffle given!
  85. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  86. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  87.
  88. [18:12] She watches, listening, silent in the moments that pass. Smiling at Noel all the while, her grin only brightens when his beautiful wings expand. Grasping the offered hand, she nods once, twice, following along.
  89.
  90. Fingers twining with his own, she looks to Cal, to Spud, then Magdalen.
  91.
  92. Thera watches the runes, humming to herself. She knows only the barebones when it comes to runework. Capable of making a guess at Magdalen's intentions, but only a partially educated guess.
  93.
  94. Regardless, she trusts the woman, and her work, and chooses not to question it.
  95.
  96. "Ah.."
  97.
  98. Only when Magdalen speaks, does she make any sort of sound. Nodding once, twice. There is a bit of concern within her eyes, but that concern washes away quickly.
  99.
  100. Perhaps, this will help Shai, as much as it helps herself.
  101.
  102. "Ah, well. Ready.." Gaze shifting from the angel-blooded, to Spud. "When you are."
  103. (Thera)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [18:20] The Angels would be in agreement as two guardians are picked. Amber eyes would meet between the blue haired and the caramel as the Ookami knight nods in response.
  107.
  108. Divine and cosmic mana would course around him as he already felt the faint tugging on his magical circuits. Magdalen's hand being placed on his shoulder, he would have an idea of what that meant.
  109.
  110. His form clad in nyeshk would sink as he took a knee and bowed his head, ready to receive the blessing. Runes and scribing would circle the air as the holy energy intensified around him, and he basked in the magic of the angels.
  111.
  112. All Airgenald wanted coming to Agartha was to make a difference, bringing peace to their lands and putting an end to necromancy, and any other craft that harmed the lifestream.
  113.
  114. He was fortunate to arrive just before the angels, and joined their ranks offering everything he had to their cause. He grew up with them, trained with them, fought beside them. They were more than just friends, and his magic molded itself into his iron will to protect them.
  115.
  116. He had struggled as Shai had, with wrath and a thirst for battle, but it was in Calael's wisdom and skills in diplomacy, that the shield bearer had seen there was always a better way to handle an altercation other than violence.
  117.
  118. "I too am ready.. Calael." He would maintain his kneel and head bowed, it felt the most right for his official knighting.
  119. (Sir Airgenald Spudnicus Ixis)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [18:34] That should have been the hard part, truth be told. From here on, the main focus would be pumping their mana and energy into the chosen.
  123.
  124. As Magdalen makes last minute preparations and they all join hands (or grab shoulders), Noel turns the power up. What was once a warm, angelic embrace becomes a steady stream of divine magic on his part, the youth doing what he can to make the most of his bloodline without actually overdoing it.
  125.
  126. It was important to note that he wouldn't have to do it alone. His desire to see the ritual succeed is strong enough to carry most of the weight himself, if he needed to.
  127.
  128. "You're one of us. Chosen by us and the powers that be to help Agartha change for the better. This bond that we are creating will be a link - a bond that cannot be severed.
  129.
  130. Know that what you are feeling right now is love, and spread your wings."
  131.
  132. He looks between the two of them with a twinge of worry in his face, trying to see what would come.
  133. (Noel Elisheva)
  134. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  135.
  136. [18:41] Calael, as usual, followed his older brother's lead.
  137.
  138. Surging his own divine blessing through the joined connection of his siblings and casting it toward the Ookami himself, Cal took in a deep breath before speaking. "Sir Aigenald Spudnicus, you're to be my shield, my protector, my Guardian, and my Knight. You've served loyally and consistently, and thus I choose to pass my power on to you."
  139.
  140. Some of that azure starlight began to fill the space mostly between Calael and Spud. It shimmered and glowed and concentrated itself within Cal's own golden light, mixing with it in its own sort of fusing way.
  141.
  142. "May my star guide you in your times of need, and may you never be forced into an order you don't believe in. As your demiangel, I swear to ensure you are never compromised into actions you don't deem worthy of action, and I task you with keeping me on the correct path always."
  143.
  144. Another wave of divine light shot forth and pooled around everyone. Cal's amber eyes were now glowing with a near golden light.
  145.
  146. "Spread your wings, and join us."
  147. (Calael Elisheva)
  148. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  149.
  150. [18:45] The white-feathered young woman doesn't have the same formalness to her words as the runes she maintains concentrates the 'heat' of their outpowering of holy power from 'incandescent blaze' to 'chili cookoff' in this radius, bathing the two in the center with white-gold!
  151.
  152. Her words are softened, as she declares quietly;
  153.
  154. "Welcome to the family, new brother and sister."
  155.
  156. Light continues to be cordoned and concentrated, with runic tendrils sharing the sisterly Angel-blooded's own with the two before her.
  157. (Magdalen Elisheva)
  158. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  159.
  160. [19:01] As the golden light washes over, and pours into her frame, Thera can feel only warmth and bliss. Joy, and hope floods through her, and the grip on Noel's hand tightens. She can feel a connection between herself, and the demi-angel growing, a supernatural bond that she can't truly explain.
  161.
  162. Bzt.
  163.
  164. Something within her churns, something within her writhes. A slumbering essence filled with equal parts love, equal parts ire. As this divine light touches the spirit within, Thera's eyes open wide, gasping. A silhouette of ivory and gold can be witnessed, projected from her physical self.
  165.
  166. An essence with an uncanny semblance to the fallen alchemist, Shai.
  167.
  168. "Ah-"
  169.
  170. There are no wings to be spread, at least, not yet.
  171.
  172. "I feel so..."
  173.
  174. Through this guiding light, and through this slumbering essence, Thera can feel something slipping. The earth that kept her stable, fading away. The connection to the trees, grass, and flora, dissipating. Left only with her guiding light, a connection to the spirits, and blessing from the angels.
  175.
  176. "Alive."
  177.
  178. In a sense, she's been...
  179.
  180. Reborn.
  181.
  182.
  183. (Thera)
  184. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  185.
  186. [19:09] Blue starlight would glitter and glisten, shimmering brighter as it was further fueled by the divine blood of the angels. The cosmic energy picking away at the sturdy foundation that had been built by the Ookami for over a decade.
  187.
  188. He was firm, steady, and unyielding like the very earth beneath their feet, though Airgenald had a keen sense of the weight of things, both in the literal sense and the metaphorical. He felt the burden of every task placed upon his shoulders, some duties enough to make some men collapse beneath it. Though Spud had found power in this, a determination that had settled itself into his control over gravity.
  189.
  190. Io's magic would coarse through his circuits, melting his rocky core and empowering him to rise to something greater. Blessed light pouring into the newly reborn Guardian, he would feel disjointed for a moment as radiant euphoria overloads his senses.
  191.
  192. The connection he shared with the ground would be severed as it felt the room around him begin to spin. Feeling the immense power of aura's around him, it was enough to anchor and steady himself. It felt as if he was perceiving the world in a whole new manner, not with his feet on the ground, but through new starry eyes.
  193.
  194. The exalted art he learned came with a weight of it's own, the responsibility to stand where other could not and defend those that were most important. It was a power he achieved on his own, a weight he carried alone. However, with Calael's blessing, his trust, his faith, the Ookami would feel the burden lighten. His soul was invigorated as he was filled with further purpose.
  195.
  196. He would shake his head as his mana resettled in his body, uneasily standing to his feet, putting perhaps too much force in pushing up that he unintentionally floats into the air.
  197.
  198. "Oh- I will not let you down, Calael, or you, Noel and Magdalen, for that matter." He stood as stiff as a board, but it seemed he wasn't fully used to the gravity that held him aloft, sending him slowly spinning in the air.
  199.
  200. "I will continue devoting my energy to protecting you, your family, and their goals as we seek to bring peace to Agartha. To be you emissary and make choices that would honor you in your absence, and to be ever by your side." He'd continue giving his oath as he awkwardly floated at a cockeyed angle.
  201. (Sir Airgenald Spudnicus Ixis)
