  16.
  17. After what seems like forever I finally get off of the plane. Stretching I inhaled that South Korea smell, happy to be back in Seoul after a long trip to Japan to visit my mom.
  18.
  19. Feeling my phone vibrate, I took it out of my pocket and checked to see who it is. I hesitated hoping the person who texted me isn't who I was expecting.
  20.
  21. I sighed it was 'speaking of the devil...' I slide my phone on and checked the message.
  22.
  23. Text Messaging - Mom
  24.
  25. Mom:
  26.
  27. Did you land yet?
  28.
  29. :Me (Raeyun)
  30.
  31. Yes mom.
  32.
  33. Mom:
  34. Hurry, I have your sister waiting for you to take you home.
  35.
  36. and dress nice please.
  37.
  38. :Me (Raeyun)
  39.
  40. um... Why?
  41.
  42. Mom:
  43. I don't want to have this conversation again.
  44.
  45. I want you to be happy, successful, with a family, Raeyun
  46.
  47. you're 24 years old, get out of that dump of a shop and
  48.
  49. find love.
  50.
  51. I'm no longer asking you, I am demanding you.
  52.
  53. Go. Now.
  54.
  55. Don't let Tahyee wait to long.
  56.
  57. Conversation over
  58.
  59. 'what motherly love she shows to me.' I thought sarcastically as I shoved the phone back into my pocket. Every time I talk to her it's the same conversation all over again.
  60.
  61. 'Find love. Be happy. Have kids and get married. That dump of a shop is holding you back.'
  62.
  63. That dump is where you grew up in.
  64.
  65. That dump is where I grew up.
  66.
  67. that dump is where our family memories, are in.
  68.
  69. And I promised to take care of it.
  70.
  71. I heaved a heavy sigh. As I made my way to the exit of the airport. It may sound like it. But I don't hate my mom. I truly and honestly don't, I love her, she is my birth giver after all. It just hurts me that she and tahyee treats something so important to oue family like it's garbage.
  72.
  73. Also it always seem like Tahyee and Mom are always trying to set me up with someone. I don't mind because they're concerned for me and I really appreciate it. But my main focus is to restore the shop. I don't have time for love, or a relationships right now. And happiness... I feel happy when I'm there.
  74.
  75. Getting closer towards the exit I see a familiar figure in high heels, wearing a expensive red dress, with curly brown-ish blond hair. "Tahyee?" I called out to the figure. The figure turned around and I saw Tahyee's signature wide grin and I knew it was my sister.
  76.
  77. She was waiting by the door of the exit. As soon as she seen me, her eyes glowed and she made it towards me. "Raeyun! YunYun!-" She called out to me giving me all her funny nicknames she called me growing up. "Hi Tahyee!" I said giving her a hug and a sheepish smile.
  78.
  79. "How was mom?" she asked. I rolled my eyes at her stupid question. "Same old, Same old. And besides you should know. Apparently you guys set me up again without my permission. Again". Tahyee gave me a sympathetic smile. "No." I said frowning in comparison to her smile. And began to walk out of the airport and towards her car.
  80.
  81. Tahyee followed behind me like a Duck and her ducklings. Begining to beg- no quack annoyingly for me to go. "Please." she begged. "No" I said firmly. I tried to open the door but it wouldn't bugged.
  82.
  83. "Open the door Tahyee quite playing!" I said glaring at her. "I will if only you go" she said mischievously. Trying to open the door I ferociously yelled at her "Then who's! Going to! watch the Shop! while i'm gone!" "What if we get customers while I'm away!" I added. She rolled her eyes "That Prison of yours?! I'll find someone!"
  84.
  85. "No! I'm not leaving the shop to a complete stranger!"
  86.
  87. "Fine I'll watch it!" She shouted practically losing her breathe, and finally decided to unlock the car.
  88.
  89. I got in the passenger seat as she cranked the car up. I glared at her and held out my pinky.
  90.
  91. "What?"
  92.
  93. "Promise me." I demanded
  94.
  95. "Hell no!"
  96.
  97. "Then i'm not going."
  98.
  99. She gave out one finale breathe and hooked her pinky onto mine.
  100.
  101. Squeezing her pinky as tight as I could I said "If you break this promise. Or if anything happens to the shop. You'll have to spend your whole credit card on me!"
  102.
  103. "Ow. Ow. Ow! YunYun! Okay!" she wined and begged me to let go of her finger.
  104.
  105. I let go of her pinky and she began to rub it and stick her tongue out at me. Ignored it and looked out the window waiting for her to drive me back to the shop for me to change.
  106.
  107. The shop I'm talking about is called My Sweet Escape, It was a coffee shop that was know to many who lived in the neighborhood. And used to be very popular in the 80s. Back when my grandparents run it.
  108.
  109. And for a while my parents run it until they had a divorce four years ago after my grandpa died and left the shop to rot. Before the divorce they had so many memories both happy and sad. I couldn't stand the thought of leaving it. One day I would like to restore it to it's former glory and continue on with the memories.

  112.
  113. We pulled up to My Sweet Escape. It was a two story building surrounded around the neighborhood and the community. It was barely noticeable for the other shops brought more attention.
  114.
  115. The shop reeked of old coffee smell and scented candles. The only attention the shop brings is constant gags. I was already used to the smell of the shop so it didn't fazed me at all. To me it smells like home.
  116.
  117. "Ugh- Every time I come here it reeks like a prison cell!" Tahyee complained and began holding her nose. I rolled my eyes and began to walk inside to shop Tahyee followed behind me as we walked in through the kitchen and upstair to go straight in the apartment part of the shop, my room.
  118.
  119. "Ah~ Much better~" Tahyee said coming up for air. She jumped on my bed and demanded me to change into some nice wearing clothes.
  120.
  121. "Where am I even going" I said trying to decide to dress formal or not.
  122.
  123. "To have dinner with this nice looking guy I know. He's friends with my husband."
  124.
  125. I gagged at the thought of the word she used to describe such a duche of man.
  126.
  127. 'Her husband'. Last month she called me in the middle of the night shouting "H-He came home drunk today. And-and, He started to-" not wanting to remember the rest she said I cut my thoughts short and focused my attention back on Tahyee and her endlessly dicussion about this guy.
  128.
  129. "He likes girls your type~" Tahyee purred seductively as she watch me pick out a dark green dress that exposes my back and has a slit at the end that goes up to my thigh. "Wear it!" she squealed.
  130.
  131. "Whatever boss lady" I said not really caring and made my way to the bathroom to change.
  132.
  133. Putting on the dress I realized how this dress hugged around my figure. I feel too exposed. Blushing at myself I made my way out the bathroom.
  134.
  135. "Tahyee... How does it looks?"
  136.
  137. Tahyee couldn't hear me because she was listening to music on her phone. I rolled my eyes and yanked her headphones out her phone so she could here.
  138.
  139. "Hey!" She shouted but i was to distracted.
  140.
  141. 'This voice...'
  142.
  143. A familiar voice echoed in the room, the same voice that enchanted me on the plane ride home.
  144.
  145. I looked at the song displayed on the phone it was a different song though, but by the same artist.
  146.
  147. Bts.
  148.
  149. The song that was playing was called Blood, Sweat, and Tears. The song was to quite addictive. I started to hum along with it.
  150.
  151. Looking annoyed Tahyee paused the song and stared at me. "you could of asked." she said bluntly. "You didn't hear so I took them out" I said and stuck my tongue out. She hit me and started to nag at me "Don't do that to me especially if I'm listening to Bts. You may be my sister But I won't go easy on you next time" She said "My bias was singing and you had to ruined it"
  152.
  153. I rolled my eyes, "calm down they weren't all that great"
  154.
  155. She hit me again a little harder than before "Don't say that! thats a big sin!" she hissed
  156.
  157. "And if for someone who likes to stick her nose in books then listen to some music, you sure started to hum along." she added with a smirk on her face.
  158.
  159. "Not true." I said stubbornly, I hate it when my sister is right. I won't let her get the upper hand.
  160.
  161. "Is true."
  162.
  163. We kept going back and worth with each other til it was the time I meet her friend for dinner.
  164.
  165. 「☕🌿」
  166.
  167. I made my way out of the shop and into my car. Tahyee waited outside the coffee shops door holding her nose. She offered to drive me there, but knowing she was trying to use this as a opportunity to leave I shook my head and held up my pinky. "Remember if you cherish your card-" I said begining to threaten her. Looking upset she rushed me out. "Yeah, Yeah, hurry I want to breathe"
  168.
  169. Waving good by I headed for the meeting place that I was instructed to go, It was a couple of blocks away from my shop.
